FINALLY - Somebody who knows their stuff!. Good to see that what I was hoping find out about this cabinet has been validated.
I’ve been looking into this because I like the modularity of the interior. Planning on buying, especially after watching your review. Thanks!
A Great honest review without coming of like a 'salesman', thanks! I have had my eye on this item for some time.
Im hung up on one of these or a traditional safe. I really don't want to spend the $$ on a fort knox but I also don't want to overdue it with what my needs are. Also I'm skeptical of how SAFE this thing is, and I do prioritize protection. Im glad I did research because if I didnt know better I would have just went with an RSC which I never even heard of before.
Thanks for showing, I’d love to have one of these one day.
Would be a good option if you have a hidden room or vaulted room. Not sure I would want it as a do all safe. Love the customization inside
Sweet set. The only thing missing is the cleaning bench and wide-screen jk. Must be nice. Hope you hit the bullseye! Thanks for the review.
How’s it going ?? How’s the safe been holding up??
@@bigtito72able very good. I'm in and out of it a few times a week every week.
What size door did is the room where this is in for reference?
You would load the safe depth-first, right? As in the most narrow dimension through the door, then rotate to your desire?
Great Review. I ordered today. What kind of light are you using?
Thank you, I'm using this one- amzn.to/2WY5v5z
Thanks
Are the slots that hold the shelves open to the outside on the back?
What is the advantage of buying this over two of the agile SecureIt safes?
Awesome safe, where or which website to I look to purchase safes and products?
You can find them here- bit.ly/AnswerSecureIt
Digital key pads have an expiration date. You just don’t know when that is until you know.

any way to manually unlock? comments were not posting.
@@tommyguns4018 You can change the battery from the outside, but no, no manual unlock.
Great cabinet. Wish I knew it was made in chyna before I bought it.
Can you please show what the locking bolt mechanism looks like inside the door? A lot of "safe companies" use flimsy steel brackets to move the bolts inside the door. When the door is pryed on the bolts easily bend. This is why Liberty safe switched to their "military locking bars". I was looking to buy this but the aforementioned concerns me. Thanks
Hate to say it , but , if Your ? has gone unanswered for 8 mo. ....
draw Your Own conclusions !
Great review! How did you end up bolting yours down? We have a post tensioned concrete slab so trying to determine if it can be bolted to studs at the back?
Sure it can, you may need to drill your own holes though to match the layout of your studs.
Finally a review
@10:00 is that a phased plasma rifle in a 40 watt range?
Where does the AC cord come out of the safe? I'm assuming one of the back bottom corners. The reason I ask is because I need to have an AC outlet wired before installing the safe.
Looking at the inside of the safe it is in the top right, where the power strip is. Cord is removable and about 10 feet in length roughly.
13C Gun Reviews Does it exit the safe from the top right side?
@@HalStaniloff looking into the safe yes. From ftom the back it would be top left.
13C Gun Reviews Thanks! 😊👍🏼✨
Are the safes affordable ? Compared to other similar safes
Another great video, thanks.
Great review, thanks. Very cool secure gun storage unit.
Where do you store all your ammo?
Is that Roman Atwood ?
Will somebody be able to pry that safe open?
Do you still recommend this safe?
It's still going strong, I use it nearly once a day every day.
does it have a key or manual unlock in case of pad failure?
From secureit's website "Key override not included" so no it does not.
@@thedude6146 do some safes have a key overide for electronic locks? I like electronics but I'm 27 and plan to have the safe for the rest of my life and it might now work in 40 years from now. The company could be long gone too
@@bryananderson3772 Yes, typically the cheaper china made safes/locks will have key override. The higher end safes with name brand electronic locks will not have a key override. Those locks are time tested/proven and in common use among a variety of safe manufacturers. If the lock fails while locked, a locksmith will know how to drill it open.
I feel your sentiment about electronics. Most people that feel that way typically skip the electronic lock and go with the classic time tested and proven mechanical dial lock.
How difficult was it to put this together? (Saw a different vid for the smaller version which said instructions weren’t user friendly)
This doesn't have any assembly, other than placing the shelves and cradles where you want them.
I have a video where I assemble a Agile 52 from them, it's pretty straight forward.
How long does the battery last before needing replacement?
I'm still on the orginal battery
@@13cgunreviews Many thanks.
@@13cgunreviews Prior to bolting it down, does the security cabinet tilt forward with both doors open?
@@cbbees1468 no it does not. I tested that to see if had to be bolted down. Both doors can be fully open and I did put a couple of handguns and stuff in the door pouches, no issues with tilting.
@@13cgunreviews Thanks for all of the info.
does it have a manual key in case of pad failure?
From secureit's website "Key override not included" so no it does not
No, it does not.
Does it come assembled unlike agile???
Correct, the only 'assembly' on this one is firguring out where you want to put the shelf and Cradlegrid.
What country is this safe made in?
Needs to be bigger!

Does this "safe" have a UL RSC rating? Secureit doesn't say on their website.
I don't think so. They are harsh on UL RSC (residential security container) ratings and have several videos on why they don't mean much, in there opinion.
@@13cgunreviews Figures, from what I've found their "safes" aren't even CDOJ Approved. Guess it's not the "Answer", at least for me, after all.
I generally look to California as what not to do 🤷♂️
@@13cgunreviews Considering how afraid they are of guns and people having them, I'd say they have decent minimum requirements for a box that is intended to keep guns out of peoples hands. Of all the ratings, CDOJ Approved is the lowest and even quite a few cheap big box store safes have this rating. At this price level, if I have to choose between a bunch of steel boxes that have an industry rating and one that has none, the one that has none is automatically out of contention.
Correct me if I'm wrong but without having CDOJ Approval nor meeting California's definition of a gun safe you have to put approved gun/trigger locks on the guns you store inside this mid-thousand dollar "Answer" if you reside in California. So it's like a really expensive metal storage cabinet with a securam electronic lock.
If it doesnt have the UL rating then it means it hasn't been tested by the UL. Thats bad, since UL testing involves 5-10 minutes of breaching the safe. This is just a beefed up storage unit , i love their concept but over priced for what it is.
What state are you in?
Just subbed
sweet
It's cool. But the amount of money u have sitting in it i wouldnt use that i get a real safe.
Old Blue : That's the way I feel too .
THAT level of " firearms " deserves
a GARFERNDER ( pardon Me if I misspelled it ) !
@@johnhoward7298 I know what u meant but yes your right also
What is a real safe?
That’s a small collection of guns, any safe is capable of being defeated. Only spend enough to stop the common thief, anyone who knows you have something they want will figure out how to get it. Unless you go full GSA certified and have some kind of security response to get to it in the allotted time you are only paying for comfort.
@@billyboyd418basically how you feel, this safe works for me. Layered security and a 12 gauge Steele safe is plenty good enough for most people not putting diamonds in there.
