Never trust gravels and potholes in corners and upcoming traffic, so keeping the right hand sane is the only option for me
With the X variant in the market, KTM should add the adjustable suspensions in the standard variant as well. Just like in international market, only diff will be spoke wheels and alloys.

There should be only two variant X & standard. Rest everything should be available as Official accessory or power part. Ideal choice for me would be X variant with upgraded suspension setup & Spoked wheels. Tbh Electronics feels more like hindrance instead of aid in 390vadv.
For longer rides like 2000km round trip for every 6 months, whether 390 adventure standard or adventure x is suggested? Rides include straight + mud roads + riding in rain + offroad route like in manali to leh ?
I wanted all the electronics along with the adjustable suspensions but not the spoke wheels. Now I'm really confused. My mind is telling me to consider the X variant but don't want to miss on the electronics either.
Was interested in buying 390adv but was confused with all those variants. Thanks to your video, no more confusion! Now I know that none of these variants are perfect yet so not going for it anymore! 😊✌️
KTM should had the option of choosing alloys wheels against spokes wheels in SW variant. That would be more attractive for wide range of buyers. I would prefer the adjustable suspension but not the spoke wheels cozs I know how much trouble you will get in case of puncture.
Don't know why there is so much hate about the quick shifter, I use it on my adv 390 on a regular basis and I just love it. but yes you do need to give it some time and play with it to understand which RPM range the shifter works the smoothest.
Quickshifters usually are meant to work good in almost the entire rev range but they should def work at higher revs, which this KTM one doesn't. It is a mechanical gear shift aid more than anything else. Hence our disappointment with it.
I dont understand why they didnt give adjustable suspension with alloy standard one. 7:55 or you can just swap out the suspension, im very sure they can be retrofitted in the std version.
hi can I get SW variant after that can I swap alloy for that like adjustable fork with alloy ? its make expense but just asking. its possible I love the orange color
Looking for an ADV and it’s in my shortlist. Will use it mainly for commuting and highway touring. Few things concern me- I’m not someone who rides aggressively fast. Just want the torque on lower RPM. Also suspension should soak in all bumps. And the seat should be comfortable for longer rides. Don’t know if KTM 390 ADV will fit into it. I don’t mind getting the SW and swapping the tires.
If you're tall like me, then that automatically rules out a lot of bikes in the same segment like the dominar 400 and gs310. The seating position on the adv is just unmatched.
@@TomalBhattacharjee i don't own any bike yet, but I've driven about 700km on a variety of different bikes. The most being on a Himalayan and then a dominar 400. I thought the traction control stayed off from 22 onwards? If that's what you wanted. Very confusing some say they fixed it and your saying it comes back on everytime it stalls? Could someone give some more feedback on this please.

Buddy the alloy wheels is not a straight swap on the SW Vern. One has 6 bolts and other has 5 going through the discs. There’s an entire clutch of parts you’ll have to change to achieve the swap. Then the warranty will be questionable too because KTM is not formally approving of this change.
@@zigwheels A bit more than that but its academic given warranty issues. I had done some pricing of all smaller parts and it had come around to approx 26k for the swap. Heard rumblings that they’ll release a separate rally kit in the very near future which will work with existing Alloy wheel KTM. Kit will likely comprise a longer travel (fully adjustable) suspension, perhaps handlebar risers, a longer side stand for the revised suspension etc. This should be a KTM-blessed, bolt on kit for existing alloy wheel bikes. Waiting for this to come through, fingers crossed. Will definitely make sense if alloy wheels are super important to anyone. Won’t be cheap though, but worth it regardless IMO if they can deliver the above.
@@zigwheels thanks for the reply. Another option is to buy normal variant and fit adjustable suspension. Is that possible? I really need adjustable suspension and alloy wheels
