Crazy, people have been asking for this bike for over 10 years and now they give it to us on the verge of bankruptcy.
It really has to be thought of as an Adventure bike, as 159kg is way too porky for an Enduro bike, or even a 350-400cc class dual sport. "Enduro" here is just the marketing machine in action. NOTE- in the KTM financial mess, they stated on 25-Jan-2025 that new bike production will not restart until March 2025.
lets hope ktm stay in business, it aint looking too good for them
Drz 400's weight that much too idk about the 2025 models but 24 and down weigh 350 pounds too.
160kg???? And I thought the drz was a heavy bike 😅
Fuel tank is way too small. It's just barely bigger then the upcoming DR-Z4S, which is also too small.
Just ordered one in the USA price was $6062.00 us dollars
@@ChristopherFust thanks for the info. So probably around $20,000 AUD 🤣
Hi mate i heard about a enduro 125 r !!!
Yep KTM missed the mark again....Over weight, poor fuel capacity, WP budget suspension, KTM after sales reputation is rubbish and the company is in serious financial sh$t.
Isn't it about the same weight as DRZ4S?
@@AEyob21 With fuel, the DRZ is at least 15 Kg lighter
Whatevee it might be but I want it
I think buying a KTM is too risky. They were a good option when they first started to compete with the big four (decades ago). Now they are just unreliable, overpriced, exotic ISH poser bikes with a proven, shoddy "sell em to test em" business model.
Maybe their next bike will be a 1,000cc that weighs 250lb. Who knows how far they can go😅
I’m a Suzuki rider, DRZ400 forever….see no reason to change or upgrade
How could this be any good off road in places where there is water to ride through. The exhaust pipe is down by the foot pegs.
the weight shows the bajaj dna...
Why would anyone buy a KTM at the moment?
the only good thing is the seat height for us short riders , ktm have lost the plot its to heavy and to much tech bullshit
With a 500EXC and a KLR650 already in the garage, I don’t see the appeal of this bike.
6.400 euros en Europa ok
Cable clutch ? :(
30 years riding never had 1 issue with a cable clutch.
much to my surprise even the 790/890 is cable clutch, even the $40,000 890 r rally model if I remember correctly from when I sat on one
easier to replace in the wild
@ Do you pick them from a cable tree?
Yep excellent
You'd be better off with a 500 excf/501FE. They're 130 lbs lighter. Terrible decision by KTM.
390 is here but KTM how longer before being absorbed by china?
Too tall too heavy
Looks trick
Not a fan of the engine - I’ve owned a 390 ADV before
It's a new engine
Yep, now a 398cc. But that does give me second thoughts about ktm having the kinks worked out.
@@TheDfelan I had the previous engine in a RC390, and now have the newest engine in my '24 Duke. The new engine is quite sweet.
@@leanit5756Thanks for the info! How many miles do you have on that engine? No issues?
@ I only have about 1,000 miles on it, but so far perfect. Has a really nice personality. If you ever rode a current 690 the nature of the power delivery is similar, though the 390 is not prone to loading up and low revs like the 690. Revs freely like the 690, but doesn't crash abruptly into the rev limiter like the they do.
It is a flop.
Said nobody
@@appymarley It is 20 kilograms more heavy than the CRF300L.
@@fcalin21 your point is?
@ My point is that it is heavier the the 690 which is a 20 years old motorcycle . Meditate on that.
@@fcalin21with double the HP and waaaay better suspension for near the same price. Meditate on that. 🤣
It's works but for a vet rider , it fails on the suspension and power department. Not really for serious riders but a fun 3rd or 4th bike. ABS and electronics useless.
The heavier the bike and the more street compromised the tires, the more valuable electronics become. I pitched my Tenere 700 on a rough uphill two-track covered in wet grass, while my 890 ADV-R would tear right up. I don't know if this bike has dirt traction control, but I am all for it. I never felt a need for it on my EXCFs, but they are way lighter too.
KTM = chinese motor = crap
