@JOA-S yeahhh I know that... Just a bit worrying that there's more official media clips from KTM about the Enduro and SMC than the Adventure, which was by FAR a stand out... Hopefully they go through with it and sooner, rather than later.
@Hans.Gert333 you can easily restrict a motorcycle by 3kW/4PS and make it 15kg lighter. If you sell it to the people like this I think they would understand
I know many people riding the 390 ADV not one of them bought it because it is A2 licensed, everybody has the A open license. Older Duke models would simply have 2 mappings on for A2 and one for the open license
Why some shots on the enduro show WP Xplore suspensions and when you highlight them you say WP Apex? Is that going to be a powerpart? If yes, then will it also be available in India ?
KTM just awesome, you nailed it with these two 390s, for me the SMC R is the one to get, I can't wait to try it and possibly get it this year as my street hoot. Keep it up, we ARE READY TO RACE :)
I'll definitely pick up the Enduro 390. The Adventure 390 or Himalayan 450 for my touring needs is yet to be finalised. Only thing i am concerned with is the 390 adv would be the tubed tyres vs the Himalayan's tubeless. Maybe ktm gives tubeless options like its bigger adv models.
These bikes look promising. If KTM can deliver them at affordable prices and give customers good quality control + warranty support, they’ll be a good step in the right direction. Get new/young riders hooked on the 390 platform (Duke, Enduro, Aventure, Supermoto) and give them a reason to stick with the brand as they progress through their riding career. I’ve always liked KTM’s “in your face” attitude and branding, but never gave much thought to their bikes until I started selling them. Hoping for the best outcome while they restructure the business. No matter how much you say, it will not help. You two tell the owners of KTM that if you launch it in India at a cheap or low price, then only KTM will be sold or it will not be sold. According to me, I mean according to the people of India.
I seriously hope to see the Adventure R model soon... Just seeing these two pop up everywhere... The Adventure R is what we need!

@@SuperOle2011 The SMC and Enduro model announcements were seven days apart. From that, I'm guessing the Adv model will be announced tomorrow.

rear shock getting cooked by that muffler like the 390 duke
has to do with the motorcycle rules in europe. cant be to light with to much horsepower. Look for the A2 driver license motorcycle rules in europe

So +10kg and literally half the price of the 690 models. For under $6k these look like fun bikes to me.
@@ThiloK9A2 bike market is the biggest one. They don't want to miss out on those. A1 is smaller hence bikes will be expensive.

Does the smc have an off road/low power mode as well I want it as my first bike but that’s a lot of power for trails if it’s my first time right ?

drz will be 30% more expensive. In Poland Enduro R is approx 7000 EUR (same as 390Adv I bought last year)
