Race was a shitshow, barely any significant racing until the last lap then the infamous train wreck as usual. I’m over this crap, bring back tandem drafting or cut the spoilers to 1” and bring the Bristol tires.
They were 3 wide racing plenty of times🤣 Now their fault you don’t watch the whole race. And tandem drafting was not cool all the time. Every few racing they’d put on a great show but it wasn’t all the time
The closest finishes and most last lap passes in Dega where tandem drafting, look it up lot better than this restrictor “plate” high drag big crash package NASCAR has. Heck even back in the 90’s the restrictor plate racing was better than this.
What a rediculous way to finish a race. NASCAR loves to see that bunched up pack, beating and banging their way to the wreck at the finish line. That's not competition, that's Gladiator Games! Blood Sports! REDICULOUS !
So why was a caution not thrown until they crossed the line? Last I checked they threw the caution at the time of the wreck in 2017 when Elliot Sadler won the Nationwide race. We just gonna ignore obvious precedents in officiating or do they even matter?
Where is the common sense with FOX Sports. The way they films these finishes with quick cuts to the pit crew and not staying with the pack of cars crashing and showing the actual action. WTF. Sometime went by like they were giving birth to showing a replay. Start the replay with more screwed up director views. (scripted car filming, views missing big hits) Then finally they showed a wider view and it wasn't till then that Bowyer, Harvick, & Mike Joy figured one car went under another one and a car got upside down. This was a terrible race to watch. To watch them go around just to conserve fuel most of the race and not make any moves till the end sucked. I would rather see a bunch of moves during the race and have the big move at the end than the drivers sit back. Let's take Busch for example; hung out in the top ten for most of the race, conserving fuel to then make a move to the outside on the final 3 laps to have Gibbs come up in front of him and stall them both out to drop back out of the top 20! Gibbs was an idiot but I'm not sure Busch wanted to push him? And then get involved in a wreck anyways.
After the FOX Broadcast today I'm surprised this 16 minute video wasn't 6 minutes of racing and 10 minutes of commercials.
