After the FOX Broadcast today I'm surprised this 16 minute video wasn't 6 minutes of racing and 10 minutes of commercials.
Probably no more than a college or NFL game, it's just racing doesn't have the natural change of possession breaks football has.

I agree..... It's getting out of control there was so many commercials I lost interest in watching the race and this is my favorite race every year. It's even worse on the Fox sports app. Same commercials over and over and over
This is why I just watch the highlights, then watch the full race a few days later on Nascars channel with no ads if it looked good.

When somebody spins at a superspeedway, its not the car behind the spinner's fault, you need to look two cars behind, since the first two are usually checking up while the third one is not. @@WyFosterWell viewership has been down for years now. They probably get 5 new viewers every week 🤣. On top of losing all the longtime fans who are fed up with NASCARS attempts are drawing in a new generation of fans. My father being one of them. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a huge sport with millions and millions of fans over the world, but it’s nothing compared to 15-20 years ago. And even before that in the 80’s and 90’s i think was the height of their popularity. It’s sad seeing the rule changes, losing big sponsorships and whatnot, the effect is clear. They need some decision makers who understand how to reach the younger generations and open their eyes to how much fun NASCAR can be without alienating the fans they already have.

If I was McDowells spotter I'd tell em that practically you can't block more than two lanes at Talladega. That being said you can't try to block 4 lanes of traffic in Talladega and expect to succeed.

I was really hoping McDowell would have taken this one.
So why was a caution not thrown until they crossed the line? Last I checked they threw the caution at the time of the wreck in 2017 when Elliot Sadler won the Nationwide race. We just gonna ignore obvious precedents in officiating or do they even matter?
🤔 Ask Kyle Busch about blocking a 2nd time in 2009. Tony Stewart wrecked him at 2009 Pepsi 400 when Kyle tried 2 blocks. 😅
