- Today I show you guys the difference some Dupli-color Trim Paint makes on these Faded plastics on my Jeep WJ! For $12.99 a can it is worth the difference it makes on the WJ. I would recommend picking up 3 cans to do this right.

This channel is very underrated!
Thanks bro💪 means a lot!
Looks good! 👍 I did mine a couple years ago. I used Rustoleum Truck Bed Liner.
It took about 2 and a half cans. Ive had a little paint flake when i hit it with a pressure washer but being textured it was pretty easy to touchup. I also did the trim on the back door above the licence plate. It really makes these jeeps look 10 years newer.
This stuff doesn’t flake which is why I really like it and it’s easy to touch up to just spray it and it blends well when it dries!
@@NajarOffroad I only used it because I already had it in the paint bucket! Ballin on a budget 😆. I wish I would have put out the extra cash when I did it and bought the right stuff... like I said it flakes off. 😬 I don't recommend bed liner lol
I did almost what you did to your bumpers, but I used "Bed Liner". As you said it makes such a great improvement and is an easy day or two project.
I love it, I was thinking about going with green & leaning into the "old ratty rebuild" look, but I might just do what you did & go with a modernized new look
Yea I love the stock look and this definitely makes the Jeep look new
This looks extremely clean. The color being shot looks almost like a factory fresh WJ. Very impressed that duplicolor worked so well.
Definitely looks stock in my opinion 👌
I used SEM 39273 Charcoal Bumper Coater on my WJ. It has held up perfectly for the last couple years. Makes it look alot nicer then faded plastic.
Nice job as always. Another option is SEM plastic spray paint. Pricey too but I found it to be extremely durable and matches the original color(s).
Nice I’ve never heard of that brand! This has been my favorite I think it’s what stock should look like but I never saw a new WJ😂
Congrats on adopting another dub j. This stuff works great, I like how duplicolor lets you adjust the spray angle. Nice to be able to touch up after hitting trails too. Made a big difference on my jeep
Yea it’s really good! I love this product for the Jeeps!
looking good bro!
Thanks brotha!
Looks great, my WJ is exactly the same colour combo as yours. I've been using Mothers Back to Black on the bumpers and side panels, but it tends to go a bit blotchy in parts. I'll be interested in seeing the headlight rejuvenation. Cheers from Australia 🦘
That will come soon! 💪
I did that on my wj a few weeks ago and it helped so much but for some reason it almost looks blueish gray in certain light. Im planning on lifting it and doing a lot more to it in the future and I’ll probably just redo it in black then. Overall helps a lot, I did the smaller trim black a few years ago and it still looks perfect👍
Just magnificent just like a bought one.😀👍
Nice💪
Looks a lote better for sure.cant wait to see how far you build this wj up .
Definitely! Makes it look newer
I just used a weed torch and they look better now
Nice job! Now I know what my next job is going to be. I will probably be using some Bondo and some sanding. Would you recommend using clear coat after spraying with color?
They also sell a clear version I believe but honestly it’s durable paint as is
Need to paint those door handles too!!
For the handles I really like the cerakote wipes but you can definitely paint them just never done it so not sure how well the paint would last on the handles
@@NajarOffroad maybe once painted you could throw on a clear coat for durability could help
Very nice. I've seen you do this before and I came back because I'm about to do this for my lady's 2000. I kinda remember you doing a video about the front grill. My lady has a slightly chipped front grill in one aread and was wondering if plastidip paint would sufficient cover up or would I need to do something else to hide that chip and make it look more clean? Cheers brother, love your videos. thank you
If it’s chipped you should fill it in. Plastidip works or even bedliner
Great job! Was that the dupli color tb102? Charcoal or was that the tb101 black? Please let me know!
Any reason why I couldn't leave the trim and bumpers on the Jeep, mask and paint it?
Looking to do this on my jeep .. my jeep is white .. I’m thinking about flat black you think that’s the right choice.. thx for the video
Hey where can I get the demon eyes lights for my jeep I click on the link u share in the video but eBay said they discontinued it
Auxbeam I believe sells them
How do you match the original color. Is there a chart somewhere?
They only carry black or charcoal. I go with the charcoal
