You'd be happy to know that you can use a auto dim mirror from a Chevy Tahoe plug and play that of the same years that has temp and compass on it 😎
For the temperature sensor and info I just used one from a wj so I got inside and out temperature information and my rear view mirror has a compass too
Might be overkill but I love it

Dude, that's great. I bet most mirrors just need power and ground

So you are saying a Chevy tahoe rear view mirror will rear the compass and temp?

I always just unscrewed the screws holding the sunroof switch in place in instead of popping the latches on the sides of those connectors.
It lets you use the sunroof still, is easier, and less likely to break anything.
My EVIC mount (the black bracket) fell down because of the summer heat melting the butyl, so I stuck it up with some super-strong 3m double-sided tape and it works.

lol, I always thought it was weird that they secured the EVIC mount with only that messy black goo! haha

Yes, but a piece of advice, the proper sensors, the ones that are magnet-trainable are hard to get now. There are some compatible ones but almost all require some TPMS tool and knowledge.

I'd personally prefer to DOWNgrade my 2002 Limited EVIC. When the non-serviceable, old-school $150 (per wheel) TPMS unit batteries die, the EVIC beeps, complains, and displays an error instead of C/T upon startup and after every 20 minutes of driving. I'm looking for a hack.

Mouse houses… there’s a grand Cherokee up the street that’s been sitting in the same spot for about 20 years now. I always wanted to stop and ask about it but there’s branches and vegetation starting to cover it… I can only imagine what lives in that poor thing. 😔
