Hey, what’s up, guys? I hope you enjoyed another project. Please remember that this video product is meant for entertainment purposes only and intended for people of driving age, and that is not “made for kids”. Also Please Keep in mind I am not a professional and I have no professional training so don’t try this at home. If you decide to modify or fixing your own vehicle please keep it legal, roadworthy, and most importantly SAFE. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you on the next project! ✌
Dan H, the one-handed-wonder. I tip my hat to you, sir. Way to get the shot, and get it done!
thanks man! I appreciate your appreciation! 👍
I thought the Green Hornet was perfect when you got it. It's PERFECTER now.
More to come 😁👍
Thanks for the hint with damaged cables in the door
My pleasure
Haha, Dan , that music sounds like something from the 80's . Like a B rated movie. That's cool!
One little tip for removing the original tape that holds the cladding, pressure wash it first. Then what's left is really minor and cleans up quickly and easily. Good video!
Thanks Jack! My pressure washer is currently being held hostage by the junk in my shed 🤣🤣🤣
Keep 'em coming Dan. Love the WJ content! Plus, you're just fun to watch.
I appreciate that! Thanks Dennis!!!
I'd like to thank you for this video, I recently had a deer accident and had to replace the drivers door and fender. This video helped a lot
Thank you for watching Dale! God Bless
First time watcher, great video. My wire door harness came out and I couldn’t figure it out how to fix it and saw you do 👍🏻
Awesome man! Thanks for watching!
That 3M removal wheel and tape came in handy BIG TIME! Took all the cladding off my WJ and had it all repainted at a body shop. Without that wheel I’d be there all day peeling that crap off! Great video!
Glad it helped! That wheel is amazing
Hey Bash Engineer
I am from Yemen, the Republic of Yemen, southern Saudi Arabia. I have been following you on this channel for only a few days.
I own a 2004 Jeep Ground Cherokee.
Unfortunately, our spare parts are not available, and the agent has very, very expensive parts.
The car came to me with a heavy load, it came to me in 2012 and now I am walking in it.
Now the malfunctions have increased and I have the code B1757 and the code B0112, the first of which is B1757, which I understood that there is a defect or malfunction in the gearbox.
The truth is that I have not yet known the extent of the capabilities of the car because it is slow, but it happened recently that I felt that it had changed the gearbox gear and started to start and its launch was wonderful.
Don't dwell on this as my destiny to own a car and not be able to maintain it.
I like what you are doing, thank you and goodbye
Thank you so much for watching. I hope one day you will have a perfect Jeep. God bless you 🙏
Just did my door but I haven't done the cladding yet. That 3m removal stuff will come in handy. I wasn't aware of it till I watched this video. Keep up the good work.
Glad to help. The 3m wheel is worth every penny
Thats awesome I feel like the WJ and older jeeps are so user friendly to replace and work on parts. Great that have those clips on Amazon. I just Went to the yard for the first time and loved. Def be going reg when need parts. The strips are pretty easy to remove I always take those off. Just grab some infinity speaks for the front and some parts to add auto headlights. Might have to see how hard it is to add defrost mirrors.
Congratulations on 15,000 Subscribers and 2,000,000 views 👍
thank you so much brother!!!
General Grievous spotting today. I passed by you on Horseblock rd. Being a fellow zj owner, I pick those bad boys out on the road. I said that one looks familiar and then saw you plate....Haha. She looks awesome man!
AWESOME! I'm pretty sure I was filming myself scrap some Jeep Parts at Gershow!! HAHA.. Next time lay the horn down so I can see ya!!! ZJ Crew 😁
Great video, you should write a book on these Jeeps
Thanks brother... I am... In video form 😁
Yep, very nice presentation, hope you are keeping this WJ up. Love them.
That's the plan brother! Thank you!
Hi Dan, i love the new wj content. Very informative. Thank you.
Thanks Dan!!! More to come!!
Damn nice job. Yeah I’ll be looking to get speakers soon for my 2002 jeep Laredo. Motor going into it next week.
Thanks for the links that helps out a lot.
Anytime brother, God Speed!
I had to do the same thing when I punched a whole in my door when off-roading. $200 off eBay, rather than $1000+ repair at a body shop. Though for me, the WJ has the pin-striping and the door doesn't.
LMAO! we're backwards!
Great job Dan!
Thanks Paul!
Man that looks a lot better..👍👍
No more punch hole!
As always, great job 👍
Thank you 👍
Hey Dan I'm a big fan shooting some props from Bama! I couldn't help but notice you said something about a shower curtain trick? I would love to see how you do that! Keep up the great work! Look forward to seeing more videos!
Thanks Mike! I love Alabama.. I have Family in Huntsville. Shower curtain trick... Check out my vid ruclips.net/video/X9XhwfoWfDw/видео.html
As much as I don’t like the look of newer Jeep’s compared to say 90s era. I kind of like this model too now. The newest ones I still can’t get into. but I may have to find one of these models with the bigger engines cause MPG you never worry about if you have SUVs like this.
Agreed.. I love my XJs but a lifted V8 WJ is very fun as well! They're definitely growing on me
This car will cost twice as you buy after all updates, but i really like your videos thumbs up 4u man :)
Thanks man.. I'm about 3,000 into it!
Great video as always buddy. Gotta come help me work on ziptie at some point
I'm off most of June... I think we can make something happen!
Yu are the best drayver jeep in America
Thank you!
9:50 I freakin love that Disturbed album! Believe has so many underrated songs on there, including Awaken which was playing on the new door’s speaker haha! Great video👍🏻
Couldn't agree more! Good thing about using an old CD player is you get to rediscover your old favorite albums. Believe is one of them.. Track 5.. Remember!
Remember my favorite as well! I definitely plan on getting a WJ with the Infinity sound system and a CD player so I can blast some favorites, like Every Six Seconds by Saliva, Break The Cycle by Staind, Tormented by Staind, Animosity by Sevendust, etc etc. Can’t wait till I have enough money for that!
@@burn_mf_burn4561I used to crank "your disease" in college! Also Crossfade had a great first album. XM Turbo just had a Dime Bag memorial day playlist.. got in a little Panera " walk". Respect!🤜
@Project Dan H That’s pretty awesome! I know a few Crossfade songs but need to listen to them more. Dimebag is a god! Sucks he’s gone
I like to watch "The Incredible Dr. Pol", an animal vet from Michigan on TV. He has a fleet of Jeeps for farm calls. XJs, WJs, ZJs, Also a WK and a Wrangler are around. Has some in a barn too. My favorite Jeep? All of them.
Now that's definitely the right answer
I swear you can read minds 🤣 I literally have to do this to mine !
HaHa, not all minds... Just yours 🤣🤣🤣
Dan..... love your videos!! You make it look soooo easy. Are ALL of the nuts and bolts on the Grand Cherokee's metric?? Or is it a mix, of metric and standard??
Great content and Jeep maintenance information. Thanks🤠
Thanks for watching!
👍🏻🇺🇸
Nice work and thanks for the props boss.
Just giving credit where credit is due! You the man Roy 💪
I wouldn't be here without you brother, which makes you the man! Putting together a pre-walk around video of that 5.9L barn find for ya...
Saludos desde New Jersey
yo! 💪
+1 for the NBA Jam music
Boomshakalaka! 🤣
What’s your favorite Jeep that you own? In terms style, comfort, power, and reliability.
Tough question but I gotta go with XJ for most catagories.. I love the WJ styling and the commanders hemi is definitely the balls
I am using that shower trick !
Lol! Enjoy!!!
9:20 was this done before the key fobs? I noticed a peanut and a seperate key on the ignition
Yes, I suppose it was! Good eye!
Hi Dan, I have a jeep zj and I need a 4.0 engine, I have found a 4.0 but it is from 1994 and my car is from 1997. Are the M2ZS and M2ZJ blocks and cylinder heads compatible?
I believe so. Yo can put any head on any block, it's the compatibility with the vehicle that is more important. For example an 0331 head needs to go on the Jeep with the coil pack ignition. I think your ok. It definitely double check
Dan, what coolant fan do you have? Is it the mechanical, or electric? Trying to find a shroud for my wife’s WJ the engine assembly that I picked up for it had the mechanical fan and power steering pump so I can trash the hydraulic fan system.
My WJ fan is a hydro fan
I have a WJ that has a leaking rear main seal. If you ever have to replace yours. Tape it. I'm curious to see it done.
ive done a RMS in my XJ, so im good with 4.0s Never tried a 4.7 tho
@@ProjectDanH It's real windy and dusty here in Kansas. Don't really want to drop the pan in this. lol
What size tires are you running ? I have the same lift on the way in the mail
General grabber ATx, 265 70 r17s got a vid coming soon
What kind of radio do you have? It almost looks factory but has a display.
Its a Factory Nav unit from a 2002-04 Overland
@@ProjectDanH cool I didn't know the WJ came factory with nav
What can I do if my module signal is weak with the fob? I want to replace it but not sure what I’ll need to do after or how to do it.
Did you ever end up replacing the rear lift gate on this with the one you pulled from the yard? I have a few big dents in mine and I’m wondering how much of a pain the wire harness is going to the hatch. Is it even worth it to replace?
lol.. not yet.. its still in the back yard... rotting🤣🤦♂️
I had a fender bender and need to have one of my rear doors replaced. The estimate has them taking the front door, back quarter panel, and the bumper off. Ummmmmm. The dent is in the bottom part of the door, near the wheel well. I'm getting more estimates, but after watching this video, they are obviously hoping to rip me off. Can you think of any reason why they'd have to take the whole side of the car apart?
They go by worst case scenario calculated in their computers for the job... I'm not a fan of those penny pincher type shops. try a new place, or check junk yards for doors and just do it yourself!
Figure if anyone would know would be you 2000 wj bought with out fan and clutch was this factory or does it need the mechanical fan or for the ac is it better to leave as is
WJ had 3 types of fans, hydro fan, Electric fan, mechanical fan w/ clutch. Which is your Jeep supposed to have?
@@ProjectDanH mine had only a electric when I bought it but I have seen with both and some just electric I put a fan with clutch on mine easy but I don't notice a difference would like to have it just in case of over heat
I'm working on restoring my 1998 jeep grand cherokee Laredo. Can anyone recommend a good junk yard in the New York - New Jersey area?
D&E and I went to a couple of Harrys I Believe... ruclips.net/video/mnk8sj0f6Lo/видео.html
@@ProjectDanH Thanks a lot Dan!
Your videos are very much appreciated.
It's patina, people pay good money to make their vehicle look like that...
🤣🤣 not on a WJ
What size tires you running?
im looking to do the same 2" BB from rough country and need to decide if i can fit 32's without any cutting
31s .. you'll need close to 4 inches to run 32s w/o cutting
@@ProjectDanH thank you, did you have to do any cutting with the 31’s and 2” lift?
@@kaelangerhardt5651 it's almost 3 inches but my front tires rub a bit
@@ProjectDanH thank you
Question: would your black xj there happen to be the one on display at spoilerlights . Com? Had the mk2 spoiler for my xj sitting around to finish up but i've been afraid to install it on my tailgate that's been peeling paint. Wanted to know if you had any tips for install
If your paint is peeling I'd recommend having a professional body shop paint your lift gate and spoiler and have them install it.. the orvis spoilers are too rare to mess it up. Lol save up and do it right 💪
@@ProjectDanH oh shoot did you get a genuine spoiler?
Hey Dan. I have too many jeeps, too many projects, not enough time and I'm in over my head. I know you have your own projects and your own family but I could really use the help. If you donate time to my project I'll be sure to donate everything I can to the Dan H Project. Let me know. Thanks. Louie Gi
Too man Jeeps, too many Projects! Sound like me! I'd be happy to help you with something eventually!
Yeah buddy. Not sure where to start, there's too many projects. Anything will help get me ahead. Let me know what works for you. Thank you.
