It's always a pleasure that we can enjoy his music , his lyrics ... the future is not written at all . He could be seated in his mansion with his family and his dogs , but he's not . Anyone could think that his Never Ending Tour is only about the money ? I'm sure not , he has more than enough to live ten lifes . And more important , he has nothing to prove or explain . He ain't a martyr of rock'n'roll , he is still alive and still doing something that all of us we are expecting ... playin' his songs .... and we must be very grateful for that .

Strong and cohesive concert, one of my all time favorites. His tenderness towards a young Norah Jones is touching. As here, Dylan proves over and over that he won't be put in a Box and tied up in a neat package with a yellow ribbon. That he might be baiting the stuffed shirts a tad in this concert can be seen in the faces of some in the audience. Three Thumbs!

Absolutely. He was my all time favorite. I too saw him in 78 and again a number of times through 2004. But really, how can you watch him from 1966 tour of England with the Band then watch this and not want to cry.

I think you just have to adjust your expectations, maybe even have none. I once felt exactly the same as you but now I'm beginning to "get it" and it's all starting to sound better and make sense. Hard to explain buy it can and will happen, but you must be patient. Remember patience is probably not only a virtue, but the key virtue of all....

He can't sing, but he can write great poetry and great stories and play the guitar very well. His voice is the voice of a bard.

He somehow lost his singing ability a long time ago. But he remains the seminal voice of his generation; and forged a path for others to follow in their own time/spaces.

in non classical music and even that ,everyone cannot sing, if they did sing perfect it would be hell to our ears, exact pitch, solid tone, timed to 0.000000001 of a milli-secound in length position start-finish, note in tune followed by the next ,next next Next NExt NEXt NEXT the thought gives me shivers

Paul Shimel You may not like his voice, but he can sing. Are you a singer?

Dylan was great back in the day. And he could sing then but now he's a living legend and he can get away with anything and he does. If you like his performances now, that's okay but as for me, I'd rather watch the old clips and listen to the old records.
