I came across you channel tonight. The first vid I watched was "Baling Hat and Soil Compaction". I was hooked. I live in New England and my Uncle was a Dairy Farmer. Listening to your father and husband talk about how thick the grass was and all of the little details was so relaxing. I watched a few more and noticed this one. I am so sorry about your loss. You guys got this. When my uncle left me his house he had strict orders about his massive garden, over 12,000 square ft and his Formal Cub Tractor. Every year I put my heart in soul into it. I now have 2 Cherry trees, 7 apple trees, 4 pear trees, 2 peach tree, and raspberries. Last year my corn never looked better. Strong stalks, green as could be, and the tallest I've seen. Well we had a massive thunderstorm pass threw and blew all of the corn down. I was crushed and thought how could I complain when there are farmers that lose everything, while I can still go to work. Times will test you, and you will feel like a child lost in the woods, but remember you are allowed to feel that way, but the next day is a new and get right back to it. Make him proud. After a few years you will be thankful, yes you'll have issues, but go back and watch his vids and see what he would have done. I'm a subscriber now and will be cheering you on.

I am so sorry to hear this! I had been looking and waiting for new videos from you and hoping nothing was wrong since they weren't coming. To be honest I cried this morning when I watched your family video and just came back to it to send this message. It was obvious the love and understanding you had for each other, I'm sure you are crushed, stay strong time heals all! You two made these videos for one reason and now they will be used for another, for you to be able to look back at a portion of your life together and laugh and cry.

Dear Kim and family, I am so sad right now, and so sorry you’ve lost your husband and dad. Just last week I told my daughter about watching your videos, and how much I enjoyed them, and of course she looked at me wondering why I would. But when I was a kid spending time at my grandpas dairy farm was one of the most fun things to do in this small town in N.H., and watching Scott fix a center pivot ( never knew what that was before watching N.T.Hay!) or work on equipment or ride around in the tractors, well those things bring back great memories, and I thank you all for that! Then seeing his face on this video tonight I thought, ‘finally, a new video’, and now my heart aches for you and your family. I know from the early videos that Scott wasn’t real comfortable in front of the camera, but he was a natural, and a pretty funny guy too! I would have liked to know him.So I will pray that God comforts you, now and in the days ahead, and blesses you everyday. Thankyou for sharing your husband and father with us all!

I have carried on with a down-sized operation since my husband left this earth at the end of May, 2011. We had 3 sections of corn, cotton and wheat under pivot irrigation when he died. It's been 9 years of hard work, but it CAN be done. When things get difficult just remember the great sense of humor he maintained to get through the break-downs and other challenges.
Y'all will be in my prayers...

Sorry for your loss. You have a wonderful family. You will find a way to keep it all going.
I was just getting started with my dad farming the family farm when he was diagnosed 2 months later with luekemia. He passed 6 weeks later. Peace with all of you.

I once heard a pastor say that you don’t need to pray for strength since god has already given us the strength to handle all of life’s battles. I can see that your family has a great deal of strength, but I will pray for you all the same. God bless.

I'm glad that you will try to continue the hay business and Scott will look down on you and get many laughs this summer :) We have cattle for meat and sell hay for horses and if I take over the farm I will definitely have the same setup as you, raking, baling, and accumulating in one pass something like no one here in Sweden uses. Let the videos come and inspire many people!!

You already know this, but Scott was a true gem.
I have suffered loss of close family lately, so I truly can relate.
I initially started watching this channel because I want to do somewhat the same thing as your family has, but I was quickly drawn in by the great dynamic between husband and wife, as they brought the product of the dirt that they worked together, to society.
If you guys find that continuing to make videos for RUclips works for you, I will be here watching. If not, you will not be lessening Scott's memory. I could never forget him.
Move forward with your lives, be the great person that Scott would want you to be. Whatever that is, he will be there with you.
    Love and blessings
