Very honest, to the point and easily understandable review. The problem with some tv reviewers are like they are very much eager to prove their technical knowledge rather than the product review. It's a genuine review what people wants to know.
I'm very glad to see one tv for average users who just want decent tv for normal tv channels.
Bought a 65" TU8200 and I have no complaints at $800 with tax.
It has great sound without a sound bar and personally I think the picture is stunning. I normally watch movies or cast RUclips.
When something is produced in 4k it's absolutely amazing.
I brought this model less then a year and my tv started to turn off and on by it self and I was scared it broke but thank God it changed the batteries and it's working better so for I'll check it again tomorrow
Just ordered. Arriving in two days. Upgrading from an 8 year old plasma so this should be great
I have a plasma tv also, i like the tu8000 it's perfect for my room, but for my samsung plasma, nothing can beat that monster
Same ordered today!!! Hope it's 👌
Just ordered my 65 inch
How's the tv going? :)

Don't know why I look vids like this up just after I order one, but im glad review is positive. I've gone for 75 one for my little room and can't wait to be delivered to me
75 for a small room??? Haha damn overkill… must be enjoying it :D
Brilliant review,i will now be going to buy one of these tv's so thankyou.
Currently running a 11 year old Samsung plasma with the ever high resolution of 720p (lol) and some movies are amazing so I can imagine what a difference upgrading to a hd tv will do for me I dont game so thats not an issue, this seems to be a good option. I was looking at OLED and the prices vs performance lmao. Very good review pal

I just bought a 65 inch for $1200 AUD... I agree this was the best value I could find.
4k looks great. Plays games well, software works well..good remote.
Happy with my purchase...
If you don't mind, please release the picture setup numbers: Brightness, contrast, sharpness, color?
in 5:30, he said "it is important that you remember the price you paid for the TV". I remember paying $3k + for a Sony CRT TV many years ago. Today's TVs still can't achieve the black levels and brightness of the CRT, the blacks are real blacks and the colors are so bright that it will blind you. The holy grail of TVs.
Considering this for my ps5 as my Samsung 32 inch regular HD tv never let me down. Thanks for the good review

I opted for this instead of the higher priced QLEDS because of the bad reviews for light bleed. Ours is an 85” and will be delivered tomorrow. It went back down to $1599 so I had to jump on it! Very excited to see how this compares to our old 60” plasma 😇

Well now, how timely was this !! Prior to viewing I decided on the Samsung T7000, 43 " for about $277 U.S. But for your quoted price of $330 for the T8000 along with your high recommendation, I think I'll spend a tad more for the T8000. Thanks!
I looked at last year's model of this tv at Best Buy a few months ago. I was amazed at how well it compared to the qled models. Certainly compared well to the q60 and q70 model.
Was that the RU8000? I just seen it for 1100 bucks and i think im pulling the trigger on that once i heard it was better then this new model
@@marked4death076 do it, i have the 65 inch of this and just upgraded to an 82 inch. Because of the insane deals yesterday. This TV will last you years before anything else thats as good is at this price range. Samsung love 💘
It's nice to see someone review something that isn't 3000$ and isn't a TCL or Hisense.
Its easy to compare to high end models because nobody talks about the low end.
I for one don't want to spend 1000$+ on a TV that I'll realistically use for youtube, HBO, and a weekly movie night. But it's so easy to the into the trap of comparing to high end models because that's all anyone reviews.
I do not know much about TVs. I usually play video games on PCs, but I want to get the new xbox series x when it comes out for more casual play on my couch. Is this a good value tv for the new console generations?
Same i was wondering myself, imma just use it for casual play and watching netflix from my bed, but for competitive gaming imma use monitor
To a degree yes, if you want to game at 4K 60 frames per second. The tv won’t support 4K 120 frames per second, so some games you may not get the most out of. I personally am fine with 60 frames per second, so I bought this tv for the series x
J S doesn’t really matter tbh because there aren’t many games that will really be able to achieve 120 fps at 4k. plus most current games are capped out at 60fps
drupad7015 Agreed! 4K 60 tv should be plenty worth it!

Me too 😊,same thinking
Nice video! How would you rate the brightness of the TV during sunlight/daylight? Is is perfectly watchable or do you need to really turn it up on the controls? Thanks
I'll keep my Sony 1080p TV which after 4 years looks amazing still, overly saturated colors? yes, bad viewing angles? yes but I like it the way it is. It's super sharp and personally i LIKE many of the setups I see in stores. I'm a saturated kind of guy in a saturated kind of WORLD...lol
Wish I could say the same...I had a 47LE5400 and it straight up died on me so now I'm forced to buy a new TV.
I’m not familiar with what brand that is by the number is it a Samsung?

Does the TV come with 2 remotes in the US and what is the distance between the legs . Thanks?
Great review and helps a lot when sifting through the TVs on offer. Is the Samsung qled at a higher price point worth the additional money for your average user? Torn now and could go with your opinions on this. Thanks

Will you recommend this TV for a ps5 console Gameplay.?Got a TV buying Decision to make.I need to get it right.THANK YOU.
I’m looking for a cheapish tv. All the reviews recommended the hisense h8 and 9g and tcl 6 series, but they are only available in the US market. Could you Recommend and UK market equivalents? Thanks.
no
I'm in the same boat as you, I've been looking at these tvs all day and I would definitely pull the trigger on this TV if you could get it for around 500 quid or less, Samsung use VA panels and they have fantastic contrast ratios compared to LG who use IPS LCD panels and there contrast ratios suck and there black levels are horrendous, more of a dark grey. Go for the sammy
Hisense is in the UK jus goes under a different model number. I have the Hisense 8 series not the 9. I paid 400 for a55 inch last year. I would say the picture is close to the Sony x8000 but the UI is slow so I plugged in a streaming stick. Again picture is really really good. 720 isn't the greatest but it's not bad. Best value in TV's goes to Hisense
Is it better than the RU8000 ? just ordered a RU8000 I dont know if I should go for TU8000 instead, mainly for gaming.
RU8000 is flagship tv
RU8000>>>>> TU8000
TU8000 has better contrast in general, but when you watch hdr content the ru8000 easily beats the tu8000
and it has a 120hz panel -> better for gaming
when watching normal tv the tu8000 is a better choice
From what I gather from RUclips videos the ru8000 is last years model
what is your opinion on the grey uniformity? my copy get a tiny dark patch on the edge.
Compared to Samsung QLED Q60T or 70T - is it worth it to move up to QLED for color/brightness/picture quality?
Does this TV manage to reproduce video formats like .mkv and .avi? Loved the video!
Yes
I'm curious when talking about the brightness, which this model seems to catch a lot of crap for, if that is referring to default settings or also when manually adjusting brightness and contrast?
Use less brightness and more contrast.( manually)
Very good review. How do you compare this to Sony X800H LED Tv?
Do you have that Sony Model? I just purchased the Sony XBR X800H last week and getting it installed this weekend by Geek Squad. We had a friend who had this model and I loved it. Yes, you do pay more for Sony but their color accuracy is the best in the business. And if you're still on the fence, best time to pull the trigger is now with Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. I got a nice discount on the Sony X800H from Best Buy. You can't go wrong with Sony but I'm sure the Samsung is excellent too for the value and still might be slightly less in price or competitively priced vs the Sony.
@@smr32061 I also purchased the same model which will be delivered next week, thanks for sharing your experience.
Are the blacks grey looking??? Because I watch a lot of netflix originals and you know how they like to add black bars on top and bottom of the picture.

Where can I buy lcd screen?
What about LG UM7600?? Any suggestions regarding which one to choose?
Hi, has this tv the same Os as qled models? What are the differences?
I would change a sharp 42 tv full hd with no hdr to get a 65" 4k with hdr and good for consoles.
The price gap between 55 and 65 models is too much and i'm considering to save the budget...

@@nathanpickering6742 Samsung QLED don’t come close to the picture quality. Been watching the show AWAY on Netflix and the deep blacks of space are just stunning. Is this the 55 inch?
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago for the lounge and it’s really impressive for a ‘budget’ TV. The PS5 looks excellent on it as does UHD sports and general TV.
I am now stuck deciding on whether to get another for the gaming setup and save myself a chunk of cash over a more future proof HDMI 2.1 set. By the time games really start supporting 4K @ 120 those sets could be a lot cheaper... don’t know 🤷🏻♂️
I would probably buy a OLED for gaming. It has deeper blacks and individual pixels that get brighter, plus a lot of games use colors that OLED is best at displaying. OLED also works better in dark rooms, in bright rooms I would definitely choose QLED. But for gaming OLED is my go-to.

I have the 43" version hooked up tp the PC 4K@60Hz in chroma 4:4:4 and have noticed something. I am wondering if this is strictly my set or inherent in the backlighting of these panels. I've tried different sources (streaming directly, USB) with the same results; faint diagonal "scanlines" which become really evident when there is quick movement or panning. I've captured it on video and taken screen dumps. It really looks like the picture is interlaced with diagonal lines. I am pretty sure I would not have noted if I was using this as normal tv and not as PC screen 80 cm away, but now I can't unsee it even with viewing of tv stuff. Is this unavoidable or do I have a faulty panel? Is it that the refresh rate is too low for my eyes or that the backlighting is not entirely synched? The effect is more evident in some darker colours but the faint diagonal lines can be induced by focusing on a spot and bobbing one's head up and down. It's not nearly as evident as moving stuff around on the screen like when scrolling though. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am not happy at all currently.
