I love my AU8000. First decent TV i've ever owned and it does everything and more for my needs. Samsung really know how to make these budget friendly TV's. I think this review highlighted most of the upgrades though I have to say the overall size and slimness of the TV is a major upgrade, it looks so much more modern now sitting inside a room. I think this TV finally beats the old RU8000 that people loved so much for gaming on. This really is a steal for gaming with its colour depth, low input lag and great brightness.

I remember the days when inputlahs used to be 0,2 ms or lower.

White bright color is not the color you see most of the time when watching normal content . To bad you did not have the 85 inch set to compare ,that might have showed more of a comparison . I bought an used Samsung KS7090 from 2016 for just 450$ and it has in every category a better picture, like HDR1000, native 10 bit Quantum Dot panel, 100Hz panel, local dimming, One Connect Box, USB Recording,... on top its imo one of the best looking tv's, with thin bezels and a glowing Samsung logo 😍 Of course there is a risk buying used tv's but you can't get a better offer... since the MU/NU series Samsung had downgrade there tv's a lot and even a 6 Series Qled can't be compared to the 2016 KS Series... I also want to mention that the 2021 Q60 has much less features compared to the 2017 Q60, in things such as brightness, contrast ratio, local dimming, refresh rate,... I don't know why they downgrade their tv's every time. Of course there are new features like crystal 4k but at the end all comes down to the specs. Sry for bad english :)

Yes ive also noticed that samsung keeps on getting worse.
Seems like getting the screen even thinner is most important to the company in the last years.
Honestly id rather have a CRT-thick tv which was great, then a superthin tv which just keeps on failing on several factors like darkness, brightness, upscale issues, lag latency issues, sync issues, etc etc.

@@TechSteve thank you Steve ! I finally went with Sony X91J 85” I own a Samsung TU7000 65” that I bought at Walmart. Went from a TU8000 55” to the 65” but more basic model TU7000 and was disappointed at the difference in image quality in regular tv watching lower res content. The TU8000 is just better overall. I bought the larger tv believing there would be no difference in image quality. But there is from that model to the other
So I felt it would be a sure bet to go with Sony

    Am little bit confused bro
my led panel is already installed which is 173 cm which means if I think to buy 55 inch(138 cm) au8000/au9070 which will be smaller for my panel (viewing distance 10-12 feet ) if I think 🤔 to buy au9070 that could out of my budget coz after 55 inch there is only 65 inch(163cm)=(1.20 lakh)( inr)
(Out of my budget ) too costly so what will you recommend ??
Am willing to spend btw 80k to 90 k
    Waise 86 k max (inr)

You left out the fact that the AU 8000 has Alexa built-in, meaning that you can have Alexa do almost anything from changing channels and etc. But the TU 8000 only is Alexa enabled, meaning the only thing you can get it to do is turn the TV on and it may be changed volumes and etc. If you’re going to do comparisons, you need to give all the details and not just the ones you want to show. The Alexa differences are critical to the two machines because some people want more Alexa control in their device and the TU 8000 does not give them that. The a U 8000 is superior and that Alexa is built-in, give me you almost full use of the capabilities of what Alexa can do. Next time mentioned that? Thanks.

I currently have the Hisense 43N6 and was quite disappointed with the HDR as it was very dark. I finally managed to get HDR looking brighter but it isn't perfect. I'm really hoping that I won't have to mess around too much to get the settings to my liking with the Samsung AU8000. You just want to plug and play hahaha.
