These Game Night videos are great, probably about the best way to get a real sense of how the games actually "play" not just what the rules are. This is a game going on my wishlist...
I know I'm really late to the party on having this Euro game in my collection or even watching a play through about it(Only ever seen it at my LBGS and played it once with a group of 4 others and the owner used an expansion with more spots to go and it wasn't explained to me very well). All I can say is THANK GOD FOR DAVE. I just watched the first 18min of this video and fully UNDERSTAND exactly how to play this game. I'll most certainly be adding this game to my collection ASAP(Probably today tbh). I tried watching a few other explanations/ play throughs about this game but couldn't wrap my head around it until now. Idk what it is but when Dave is informing everyone how to play a game I understand it completely and it am never confused about any of the rules or how to play ones that he explains. THANKS AGAIN DAVE AND CREW!!!!
I am a few years behind watching this one (4 years). I am a huge fan of TableTop but you guys actually gave a better overview of how to play the game. Good job!
This game was a really good one! I haven't played that many "worker placement" games, but this one looks like a lot of fun to play 😁 Thanks for the great content! ❤
I love both you guys and the guys on Tabletop. Although I like you guys better because you show the entire game, and the focus is on the game and your thought process during the game. Tabletop is great because its still letting me watch people play the board games, but they cut out a lot. I can see how some people don't want to watch every nitty gritty detail of the gameplay, but you fulfill the niche of people like me who search youtube to actually watch and learn board games in entirety. Everyone who watches an episode of yours will most likely be able to play the game you were playing with a great amount of strategy. A+ guys, I love it.
Daaaaamn you "Nikki, Aaron, Dave, Lincoln and Dave"... My wallet is even thinner now (But my game nights will be so much sweeter) Been thinking about getting this game and seeing a full playthrough was the final straw
Enjoyable video and I like the discussion at the end about the game results. Well done, learned more about the game (thinking about buying it) and how it flows from turn to turn.
Thank you guys for this gameplay. Now i did get the game with expansion and i love it! It so good i did even buy steam and android version 😅. It's easily my top 3 at the moment.
How come my LoW had cubes for adventurers but they have actual small figures depicting the adventurer class? Is this from a later release or where do you get them?
Did you all happen to not shuffle the "Screw you Plot cards" (for lack of a better term) intrigue cards back into the deck? Just curious that you didn't draw a single one or didn't play one the entire game, and you had them separated out at the start so might have missed them.
I love this game. I have played 3 player games and 5 player games and they play very differently. In a 5 player game, you are using Waterdeep Harbor more, so there is more player interaction than with a 3 player game.
The moment when Dave goes: "Does that make sense?" And everyone else goes: "Mhm/yeah! " :D - The theme quote of the show ! :D hahaha You guys are very good entertaining at what you do! Keep it up
There should be more games themed for Dungeons & Dragons and Forgotten Realms. Maybe with the apparent success of Waterdeep we'll see more strategy games that are not typically themed in this fashion (though licensing fees would maybe make that cost prohibitive).
MATSAS10 Πριν από 1 δευτερόλεπτο i like your videos a lot.but why we don't see game nights videos more often?its a great "tool" for us to know how the games work s at real time with real players!!!nice job guys!!
Since I started watching Game Night from the current seasons (well, 7 and 8), it's funny watching them younger. Everyone's hair is amusing, how much they changed (it's been 7-8 years of this aparently).
typing makes TONE hard to get sometimes i meant that kinda tongue and cheek. but yea when you turn down giving him something worth a point that nets you 3 points and you all turn it down not what i'd call the smartest play
Well, they don't add new points to them until the next round. So unless someone uses a Bribe Agent to build a second building, it doesn't really matter.
Cannot believe this was EIGHT years ago. Still one of my favorite playthrough videos of all time for ANY game.
Wow! 8 years ago. Love the game, and love watching you guys.
Just ordered this with the expansion. Can't wait for it to arrive
LoW recently made it into my collection too and it's become one of my all-time favourites

This is one of my favorite games. The expansion makes it even better.

49:28 Love the eye-roll that caused XD
Finally watching!
I have just unboxed the game and decided to watch you play.Nicely done, thanks and many greetings from Greece!!!!!
You are all awesome for doing this, I love these! :)
I'm going to pick this one up as well. Just wish it came with those meeples! Great video. Keep them coming!

I was hoping you could give me a link to where I can purchase those adventure instead of the cubes? Thanks!
What happened with the link at 25:50? =P
This is amazingly well done for a "home-production" well done. Great stuff!
Game starts around 19 min mark.. LOVE this game; intro to worker placement and fun theme. Nice video too :P
I played this for the first time over the weekend, very fun fast moving game. Looking forward to getting to play it again!
the DnDeeples were made by user: Danny Perello (Relax)

Thanx for the link!
Thank you guys for this gameplay. Now i did get the game with expansion and i love it! It so good i did even buy steam and android version 😅. It's easily my top 3 at the moment.
Me too! So many years after it's release, this game is still so solid!
I think Cooper might be barrelmaker, from the Dutch word 'kuiper'.
Yeah, I as well would like to know where you got the new pieces.
Yes! I've been wanting to watch this played! Thanks for the playthrough!
Video was super helpful
How come my LoW had cubes for adventurers but they have actual small figures depicting the adventurer class? Is this from a later release or where do you get them?
Cubes own anyways dude. Cubes never tip or flip or fall over, compared to meeples. Cubes rule!

By Grabthar's Hammer, by the Suns of Warvan, I salute Ser Lincoln for that Galaxy Quest reference. #NeverGiveUpNeverSurrender

Fun video... but them saying, "dollars" non-stop did drive me bonkers. lol
Do you guys play Dungeon Command or any of the D&D adventure system games like Castle Ravenloft etc?
I love this game. I have played 3 player games and 5 player games and they play very differently. In a 5 player game, you are using Waterdeep Harbor more, so there is more player interaction than with a 3 player game.

Of course I had to subscribe this channel! This is great!
I just noticed something.. No one played a Mandatory quest this game? How friendly! =O
+a7wingedsheep You mean bullshit quest!

Are you going to get the expansion pack?
Nine years later, still no link edited in for the custom meeples..... ;P
I think they used DnDeeples, but I got some Broken Token Waterdeeples on Amazon
Great video!
How did you get Dave Gullett to be quiet (and not say funny things) for such a long time? Is he sedated?

I wish we could see the cards as he describes what they do
WHisper6911, Thanks for the link. The DnDeeples are awesome!

Cats are in the Shriner's Circus.
I love this game
Is this the first episode where someone says, "you'll take nothing and like it?"
"Since I'm the only one who cares about theme..." -- Aaron.
Ha ha ha!!!
hmmm. i thought you cannot play on waterdeep harbour when you have an agent there already
On tabletop they have some extended versions of games but not many. I know they have one for lords of Waterdeep though
typing makes TONE hard to get sometimes i meant that kinda tongue and cheek. but yea when you turn down giving him something worth a point that nets you 3 points and you all turn it down not what i'd call the smartest play
Great video! I just am irked by the usage of "dollars" and "bucks" lol
BRO what are games for 30 or more people??
BRO the best quest is the Owlbear one
Lords of Waterdeep ! Gamenight ! First ! YEy
I really enjoyed this. Gonna get the game on my next payday!
Put down those black cubes!
Buildings don't get replaced in the hall until the end of the turn.
Well, they don't add new points to them until the next round. So unless someone uses a Bribe Agent to build a second building, it doesn't really matter.
BRO no offence but I think the Tabletop verison of this game with Wil Wheaton is best
Dave won and also bought buildings, buying a building get you resources
Well aren't we the nice one.
8 mins in... I think you might have let them start playing a bit instead of explaining so many of the rules.
Yeah, it's very distracting.
bump
Gay innuendo is pretty awkward when you don't know if they're joking...
Game looks pretty good though.
Tone is a moot point when you're calling someone a moron.
Stop saying "dollars"! :)
