Plant the Seed: A Music Video Documentary was produced and directed by Taína Asili, and filmed and edited by Gaetano Vaccaro of Sunangel Media.
Resiliencia is a series of short documentaries inspired by stories of resilience Taína witnessed in interviews she conducted with women of color in various parts of the United states, Puerto Rico, and Canada over the course of several years. These stories, as well as her own, are born at the intersection of survival and reclamation of love and liberation. The Resiliencia documentary series accompanies an album by the same name which contains the compositions Taína Asili wrote to go along with each of the women’s stories.
