  • The United States was built on the agricultural strength and skill of Black slaves who knew how to farm. But even after slavery ended, Black people who worked as farmers have continued to face systematic barriers - and still do today.

If your doctor doesn’t believe your symptoms, you’re not going to get the care & treatment you need & deserve. If certain ppl refuse to apply logic & humanity to their medical practice, then it’s reasonable to desire & seek out doctors who know that black ppl are not lying about their pain. It’s not segregation, it’s representation.

Bloody shame for America. This should NEVER be happening. These are the real noble and honorable people just like any other farmer, and it's always heart-warming to see the real African-American farmers. WHY YOU DON'T APPRECIATE PEOPLE LIKE THESE??? We need more people like this, America needs black farmers lot more than you think. Farming will solve 90% of black community's problems and it will solve 90% OF AMERICA'S PROBLEMS (which is basically the big difference between the lives of African-Americans and others including richest White Americans or even immigrants/ middle class). Get it? As simple as that, but some jerks don't want it. That's the reason black people live in poverty in cities and it creates countless other problems, why you don't let them get away from that? Government should be trying to bring or promote more African-American farmers, it's not only a good deed it's essential for every state and community to have that backbone of farming. This is not a leftist or liberal agenda, this is what really has to be done to fix the PROBLEM the degenerates MANUALLY created in the past decades. I wish African-American farmers to get stronger and not be dependent on anyone or anything, to let us enjoy seeing more and more of that beauty of your great contribution to American culture of farming.✌️☀️

I was watching this with an open mind until I heard the twit woman speak. The Africans enslaved were not rounded up because they were agricultural experts. Quite the contrary. Farming practices across the continent were crude and primitive and were often of the extraordinarily destructive "slash and burn" type. They were rounded up as a source of manual labor. So this woman has an agenda and is also just plain delusional. Which is sad because I do feel that black farmers historically have gotten the shaft in the US. It more or less boils down to financial institutions screwing them over by offering smaller loans at worse terms and then kicking them off of their land with bogus claims.

Blacks in America have faced prejudice and injustice since the beginning. Black farmers in the past had land stolen, paid more in taxes on the land, paid less for crops. Black farmers were not given loans to improve farm. I know quite a blacks that own land but don't farm. They stopped years ago, no money in it for independent farmers
American government only wants industrial farming.

The amount of people who know nothing about agriculture or the ag industry is shocking, farmers have been disapering for decades, market trends has made it so family farms are not needed, in fact very few farmers even exist

❤❤❤Maybe the reason why the Black Farmers filed late because they couldn't read or write, between slavery and Jim Crow Blacks were forbidden any form of education, so of course they were unable to read contracts, applications, and deadlines. The government knew this and used it for not paying them what they're owed. Life span is because of unnecessary stress from racism, struggles, and lack of access to adequate health care, that stems from years of oppression. Blacks always had connection to the land before slavery/Africa to present day. ❤❤❤❤❤

Black farmers should import knowledgeable black farm help from Barbados to boost production of quality crops selling to black cooperatives to black and West Indian food markets on plates and in the bellies of thousands of children across America. White farmers did it with Caribbean people and Mexican But you can do it with young people who need help getting their life back on track.

Let's be real I've went to several black schools in my community and they don't want to work on their hands and knees and they don't want to get dirty. Black and white farmers are dying out. That seems like they want to be segregated now, they want their own stuff, they don't want to mingle with other people that don't share their oppression. It's all skin color to them now they won't let the past be the past. They can't seem to grasp the fact that they have to work hard just like everyone else.
