I’ve been a huge fan of Franks since the 80’s. Such an incredible player and instructor. Can’t wait to see more videos of him ripping on those fantastic guitars!
My new and first Kiesel arrived about four weeks ago and it is an amazing instrument. The new ones they sent you are amazing as well. I agree Jeff and the rest of the crew there are magicians in the craft of guitar and bass building...the pickups are fantastic!
Frank is SUCH a nice guy and an absolute master of his craft, great to see him enjoying himself with some beautiful new instruments- much love from Bonnie Scotland! XXX🎸💥😘🏴👍
They look and sound amazing! All the guitars you play sound the same way! Genius guitarist and musician! Greetings from România! We love you, Frank! 🎸🙂❤️
Ćwiczę do dzisiaj... :) Profesor osobiście podpisał mi płytę, którą mam i pielęgnuję.
Wowsa, mate!!! 3 Fabulous and different sounding wonder beasts!!! Kudos FG and Kiesler...you have moved the happy sonic scale forward AGAIN! Thanks and Best Team!!! LOVE from MXC
Matt!!! I hope all is well...we need to catch up one of these days! Email fanmail@frankgambale.com and Admin will send me your contact info. Best always to you and Dura. FG
they look amazin and I love this kind of video. As a long time Frank fan I must admit I'm trapped in the old Ibanez FGM, too iconic. Btw I love Frank's playing and songwriting, can't wait for him back in Italy
The blue so beautiful with the neck-thru, the red is dynamite with that tasty roasted flamed maple, and the zipper wood gorgeous with the gold hardware, and whammy. All look like they have mahogany fretboards. Love this new line-up. Kiesel indeed. Congrats!
I was thinking baby blue needed a tremolo and then you pulled out the last one ,and it was like daaaaaaaaammmmmm.Awsome sound all of them. Again beautiful playing much love ❤
All three look and sound amazing. Imo, the strat-style has more of a mid range honk. The first one seemed to have the most scooped mid sound. I would bet the last one would sit really well in a mix. Almost a Les Paul Jr. thing happening.
I feel like a strat design forces me to play over the neck pickup or else. I’m the kind of person that always does what I’m not supposed to so me and strats don’t usually get along. I definitely need a strat though. I have issues. Truth is I just never found the one if you know what i mean.
A side note, having nothing to do with these beautiful instruments: I have GOT to stop watching youtube videos of folks like FG. I’ve ascertained that they do NOT inspire me to play; they depress me about how much work I need to do. Now, to honor my decision.
@@vspa it is expensive to import a guitar from the USA into Europe. They could still sell directly to customers through their European office if they had one.
@@CalbertoneSorry, but that doesn't work like this. If they opened an off. dealership in the EU, said dealer would mark up the price at least twice, in order to make a profit from every commission. That's what pretty much every dealer does. For example, when you pay 5000 € upwards for a PRS, EBMM or ESP Japan, half of that money is the dealer's commission. It's similar with luxury cars, where the dealership marks up the price. Sure, the import taxes to the EU are high, but imagine if you had to pay another 50% mark up for the dealer.
@@greekfreak1980 Gibson has a representative office in the Netherlands and people in the eu can buy Gibson guitars without importing them since guitars are shipped to the representative office first. Unfortunately Kiesel does not have the size as a company to set up an office in Europe
where does one go from knowing almost everything to know about notes and music, how does one choose what guitar to play? maybe it gets lonely at the top, ill never know i like a healthy dose of intrigue and mystery.
Yo Frank. Just finished listening to centrifugal funk. Sick stuff dude. You should check out my stuff. I tune all 4ths. I have an album in the works and plenty of guitar solos on my channels.
while I appreciate this video, and will continue to try to get over my snobby attitude towards Kiesel’s, let’s face it, shall we? Frank could play a sawed-off phone pole strung with barbed wire and blow everyone (and everyTHING) away. It AIN’T the guitar, folks, as beautiful as they appear to be…
I love their instruments, and some of my favorite players are endorsees, mainly, Allan Holdsworth and Frank, but I saw the video where Jeff Keisel who runs the company, posted a shameful, disgusting rant against a loyal customer who owned I think, about 9 of their guitars, including some under the Carvin name; a lifer. This lifer was the target of a nasty, vitriolic, sarcastic rant ("what do you want me to do, tell the trees to grow darker"-no a-hole, we expect you to deliver guitars that are the end result of good wood selection and treatment), meant to publicly humiliate him, but it had the opposite of the intended effect on me; if they treat a lifelong customer like that, I dodged a bullet by only buying their guitars used, not dealing with the company directly. Aside from that, their website has a primary focus on encouraging you to "build your own custom Keisel", but they don't talk a lot until you need warranty support, about the fact that they use the excuse "it's too custom, and we couldn't get the value out if we resold it" as an excuse to avoid any refunds for unsatisfactory builds. Not that it would kill them anyway, because they do amazing work, most buyers are delighted, but everyone screws up now and then, and they don't like to admit it. It is in the owning up to mistakes when they make them and making the customer whole, where companies that might make cheaper, less awesome guitars, have them totally beat. Any company that puts the clients above their own egos has them beat; obviously Jeff Keisel is a thin skinned guy who took so much offense to a request for a change to the instrument (first time, I think, in a relationship that the guy had thousands of dollars and decades of good will invested into-he wasn't satisfied wanted one change made, not a refund). What was the unthinkable ridiculous costumer complaint/request? He ordered a roasted maple fretboard, and got a very pale and plain board that didn't look like it was roasted at all, and he wanted it replaced. That is what prompted the nasty sarcasm: "wood varies in color-I can't tell the tree, grow darker wood". No, but for a couple bucks, you could give the guy a decent looking board, even if he was wrong and you did roast it properly (which I don't believe-someone screwed up and you're too petty to simply own up and make the customer whole-I saw a pic of the board, and it doesn't look at all like a roasted board). Between that and the voiding of the warranty if you do too much of the customization which their website is centered around selling you on, it makes it a no brainer to buy used ones if you really like their guitars, like me, but want to see that it's already to your liking so you don't end up in a feud with Jeff in which he posts videos essentially calling you a high maintenance, unreasonable, whiny idiot. We buy guitars for pleasure; buying it should be part of the fun, not a battle to get what you wanted.
Nobody plays like him or ever will. What a player! I think the last one he played of the three was brighter sounding.
That red one is definitely a tribute to the Charvel that Holdsworth played back in the early 80’s.

Beautiful guitars. Otherworldly playing ability from the calm and confident hands of Sir Frank.
Mr Gambale is always a musical inspiration, and the instruments are beautiful, congratulations!!

Sounds and looks great Frank!

yes!!

That last one is fantastic, but when you start playing i have a hard time concentrate on those guitars,i just hear those beautifull passages ;)

The FG1s sound like they have a 25.5" scale. Sound much tighter than LP type guitars. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
25" on the FG1
