The shows are for sure, stopping in March, as the band Phish is going to be doing a short residency at the sphere in April. As to whether or not U2 is going to be back? We really don’t know. If they can wrap their next album up somewhat quickly, it wouldn’t surprise me if they do a small residency and support of that when it’s done.
They were filming, I think 3 of the last 4 shows. How they release that will be interesting but, I believe they’re done with the residency in this presentation. New album, next tour I think (hope) are now priority.
I read an interview with Mick Jagger the other day...he said Bono and U2 were never really good at the Arena thing. What? I Can't Get No Satisfaction in that answer. U2 took Arena and stadium rock to a new level...hence their inauguration of the Sphere. Who else could have done this? Uh, no one. The show blew me away. The venue was amazing. U2 baptized it with joy and 40 plus years of earning the right to amaze.

i wish i could know what its like to be Bono in his zone. The adrenaline and the emotion of being in that zone. Being the Fly must be exhilarating.
