- I program a new Honda smart key. This video shows how to program a new Honda smart key; specifically, how to add a new keyless access fob on Honda using a scan tool on a budget TOPDON ArtiDiag800BT. Does it have the ability to perform actuation functions & read key acces pins?
Doesn't support actuation or bidirectional tests. I am yet to try this on a car that requires pin code reading for key programming, so can't say.

Yes. This was a 2017 Accord. It depends on the car though. Also if you have a bias for key programming, you may want to get a tool with a bit more oomph, except if you're asking for a specific car.

What if both keys are not programmed ?

my original key is 313.8 ID4a... bought one with the same freq and chip but the car is not detecting the net one when trying to program it...any idea why??

Hi. Is it possible to disable any other keys registered to the car? Eg if I have 2 keys is it possible to check if any other keys are assigned to the car and disable them if necessary.
Depends on the car. Some cars have a menu for erase keys, other don't. In those that don't, you may have to do an all keys lost procedure to wipe off other keys. This is of course if the scanner supports the procedure.

This scanner wasn't able to do an all keys lost on my 2017 Accord (it didn't break anything either), although the car has the smart key. Might be worth reaching out to Topdon before you proceed with an all keys lost attempt.

This level of scanner will not program a BMW. You need advanced key programmers or you may have to pay a locksmith or dealer to do it.

Fccid is ACJ932HK1310A. This is for the 2016 - 2017 EX. The different trims have different fccid's.

It won't modify the odometer reading. Haven't tried key programming on Renault. You can check Autel's coverage tool though autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2

It doesn't on 2021 Hyundai palisade. I bought it last year.
