I like these controllers. Mobile games really need a push in this direction. However for this price you can buy a bluetooth controller for like 20-30 dollars AND a retroid. Or like you showed the gamesir x2s for like 80.
i hope they fix all of your problems on the next revision. this thing looks like some unfinished prototype. seems like its missing a button on the left and i dont understand the pourpus of the overhang little rivets and 4 holes.

@@chrisnorth27 I would like to see Google move the USB c port to the side of the fold since it opens up into landscape orientation unlike the Samsung Folds
Lmfao what? Why are all of you being such children when it comes to what side the type C port is on? All you guys say is "ohhh me no like it!!1 I wont buy it because the port is oN tHe WrOnG sIdE!!!!1111"😂 Jesus, what is your problem??
I'm not gonna lie, when I was looking for a review for the kishi ultra to pump myself up for it's delivery later for use with my pixel 8 pro, your vid was the second in the search list and my instant first impression before even starting the vid was that you were some dumb hillbilly about to give a garbage review, but then your review was perfectly paced, focusing on all the correct things, speaking just the right amount about each one, with fair assessments of everything probably not totally bought by sponsors, and great clip/camera edits to supplement the points, and by the end I had subscribed 😂 keep it up.
@@shanecraigtech I'll never get to have that split second first impression ever again, so I was reflecting on what the negative part was coming from just now. I think it was 1. Profile pic: I just saw a tiny circle of a long haired weird dude, and it didn't jive with what I expected compared to other sources I find reliable for good tech news/reviews. Usually I think they'd have some glossy logo or something? I'm not sure what the right replacement would be but that was my honest reflex. 2. Is the channel title just being your name (even though you have the banner "Shane Craig tech" above it). The reflex there was that it made it feel too much like there was a chance this was a low quality personal side project or hobby of someone, and not someone trying to do professional quality stuff. Just someone's name being the channel title made it seem like someone's casual personal RUclips account. And I noticed it didn't match the banner which said "tech", and that also increased my sense that maybe I wasn't going to get a high quality vid if I tried it. Again, Im just reflecting on the dumb subconscious instant feelings I had as I was rapidly deciding which Kishi ultra vid to watch from my search list. These weren't like actually conscious thoughts at the time. But on another note, I've now found we have like the exact same tech interests and a similar assessment of various things and I'm really glad to have found your channel!
And the USB-C is on the WRONG side again. **sigh** Not an option to be used with my Pixel fold in unfolded mode as you showed yourself. Looks like GameSir with their ugly colored eyesore of a pad is still the only one out there that works. Damn am I glad to have a SteamDeck so I'm not stuck with my phone for mobile gaming.
Do any of these controllers you have work great on the OP open?

The X2s is like 45 bucks. The Galileo G8 is 80 bucks.
Same with my z fold6, have to have it unfolded and had to get rid of that rubber support near the USB port for it to work

What's the name of the controller you showed with the Pixel Fold? Gamestar or Game share..? Didn't hear what you said exactly
Gamesir
Do the settings allow you to swap analog stick inputs? Not the analog stick buttons, but the actual analog input?
i tried my xbox controller on my s23 ultra was very jumpy is it going to be better on this device great content as always

I know it's not ideal but I would've loved to see this tested with a Duo 2 anyway 😂
The virtual keyboard is very interesting! Does the Gamesir has that too?
Yes, but it's not nearly so good
Hey Shane! Any recommendations for the best controller for the new pixel 9 pro fold?
Hi, do you know the maximum size it works? Thanks!
Are there any controllers like this that has bluetooth as well?
Yeah, that's are several
g8+
I like the G8 a liitle better. The price is crazy imo
Is this compatible with Samsung Galaxy A54
For honor mágic 5 pro??
Nice I really need to get me one of those
Usb-c port on the wrong side... smh Gamesir figured this out but a company like Razer can't.
Facts, port on the right side = no buy from me. I have both the gamesir Bluetooth and USB c version, no plans on moving away from them
You must be using a fold. I thought the same thing when I did

You put the phone in wrong, put the phone on the d pad side first then put the usb port in.
WHY DO THEY KEEP MAKING CONTROLLERS WITH THE PORT ON THE RIGHT SIDE 🤦🏽♂️
Calm down, it's just a port.

There is no "wrong side" for a USB C port. You can just switch your phone around, and not get your pink panties in a Twist😂😂
Yeah usb on wrong side makes this a quick pass
Womp womp
It's to long..
Useless on iPhone
Shit controller don’t function for most games on iPhone
