Yes, I Speak Astronomy is a love song. Great reaction to all . Perennial is a song about Tatiana’s season depression and also reflects the balance of nature; going dormant but still alive waiting for rebirth in the spring. Tatiana writes most of their songs, the guys have written a couple if I remember correctly.

Bro -- I've got a Top 5 for Unleash the Archers, since I finally found your reaction to Awakening! Here we go:
    1) The Coward's Way -- Brittney's "elevator vocals" kick ass!
    2) The Matriarch -- an Iron Maiden-inspired style song
    3) Dreamcrusher -- Not only epic vocals, but the song is about not giving up on your dreams
    4) Frozen Steel -- A song about fighting when circumstances are extreme
    5) Queen of the Reich -- Brittney KILLED this cover of the classic Queensryche tune by the same name
Honorable mention: Apex, Call Me Immortal
Regardless of what you do next, Brittney Slayes and Unleash the Archers are one of the best new metal bands out there!
And since you reacted to Jinjer, I highly recommend Ignea, and their live rehearsal of Alexandria, or their video for Alga. They are Oriental metal, with Middle Eastern flavor!

I gotta say i'm impressed how on point your interpretation of I speak astronomy was, I know this is an old video, but I didn't see anyone mention it in the comments. Tatiana said that this is in fact a love song, and she might have been 28 when she wrote it. I think she's in her early 30's now and this song came out in 2016. I honestly didn't think you would figure it out because it's so cryptic and metaphorical. I know I had no clue until I heard an explanation from the band

"Just Another" from Jinjer is another pearl. Always want to dive into Tatis lyrics always write smart. She is a teacher by the way.
If You like emotional roller coasters than definitely go for Nightwish! Start with the Wacken show 2013. I should say "Ghost Love Score" from it but will end up listening the whole show anyway :D

Nice 3fer today with a double scoop of Jinjer. Tatiana is very unique in her writing. In an interview she asks " PLEASE guys, read the words, Its not just some dog barking outside. (meaning her growls) I speak Astronomy is a "love" song. Nice catch. Try the Live at summer breeze 2018 or summer dying loud 2016 versions. each is a treat in a different way. and here is a treat for you... ruclips.net/video/FyHmpM0doNk/видео.html Tatiana mini interview in the studio.

Well now I want to see you do a double feature of "Words of Wisdom" and "Just Another." Better songs, in my opinion. They pack more of a punch, and will leave you with more of a "wow" feeling. I'm dropping you 10 bucks tomorrow... gotta see this! :) Thanks for another great reaction.

I feel like Perennial is a bit of an acquired taste. When I first heard it I didn't really like it that much, but it grew on me. Every time I listen to it I like it more and I find new things in the song that just sounded like noise before. Now it is one of my favourite songs

Not to sound like a broken record but the next one on your list for Jinjer has got to be Ape! I also highly suggest a lyric breakdown it has a deep meaning! Also on their RUclips page they have bass, guitar, and drum walkthroughs that you should check out on your free time!

Someone has suggested you ghost love score-Nightwish, but dont react to that one :D It is not the best introduction to Nightwish; I would recommend instead ”7 days to the wolves ”(live at wembley) or ”yours is an empty hope” (live at wembley 2015, vehicle of spirit).
In addition, you should react to Jinjer- ”dreadful moments ” (from the new EP as well).

Saw an interview or something like that with Brittney recently where she said when they were trying to decide on the sound they should go for with her singing, Dio was one of the inspirations for what she wanted her singing to sound like.

Hi man, greetings from Ukraine. Grait reaction(s).
And a few words about Jinjer's "Sit, Stay, Roll Over" text:
For a real understanding of the text you need to know where Tatiana and the whole Jinjer come from.
They are from Gorlovka, Ukraine. This is the Donetsk region (Donbass), where civil war has been going on for 5 years (when a coup d'état occurred in 2014, Donbass did not agree with the illegal change of power and rebelled - the government sent troops in response).

The song is about searching for love. We are all composed of star dust. Hence the line "A handful of golden dust, is what determines me". When you connect with someone on a deep romantic level. It's like two stars are communicating. Hence the line, "magic inside of us, speaks astronomy". The astronomical language carries out through the song, describing her desire to finally find true love.

Since you liked Jinjer and Unleash the Archers, you will almost certainly like: "Nightwish". The best song to start with is: "Ghost Love Score". The performance you want is "Live at Wacken Open Air 2013". The band's musicianship is superb and the lead singer, Floor Jansen, is one of the best female metal singers in the world. It is Symphonic Metal, which is a slightly different genera, but I think you will really like it.

Skipped right to 8:55, can't stand some types of Metal exactly because they're too perfect, too clean, too polished. It's just like Pop Music with distortion.
Ok, moving on to what's important: the Perennial video was shot outside of Kiev, Ukraine's capital, where they were recording the EP. It's all a real set, the inside shots were shot in a real wood house, the night shots were shot during the night (no lighting effects), as well as the day time shots. They were fortunate to be blessed with an early snowfall, the snow in the drums was real snow and as you can see by Tatiana's breath, it was really cold. That's probably why Vlad, the drummer, was wearing a hoodie. The producer, who is a young film maker friend of theirs, had all the freedom to come up with the ideas for the video, based on the lyrics.
Vlad only joined Jinjer roughly 3 years ago, he played in another band called Zlam and he's a long time friend of them. However, due to the huge amount of concerts they've done since he joined, I guess you could say that Vlad and Eugene have been playing together for a long time. : )
You're spot on on the meaning of the lyrics. This song is kind of a Pisces' sequel: zodiac signs and astronomy (I guess she meant astrology but anyway...).
