- The second Japanese anime style character is released from Game Asset Studio.
Doing things at her own pace, cool female character Aoi Kiryu has arrived.
In addition to 13 models in various types of outfits such as school uniforms, plain clothes, swimsuits, pajamas, and exercise outfits, this pack also includes 62 animations like walking, jumping, greetings, and fighting.
With this pack, it's possible to accommodate a wide range of genres such as action games, romantic adventure games, and fighting games.
These assets are compatible with both legacy and Mecanim animation systems.
Also, low, middle, and high poly count versions of these models are included.
By using the assets provided by the Game Asset Studio team, the quality of the game you're making will improve dramatically.

Yandere Dev has never forbidden DrApeis to use these models. What he DID have a problem with is that DrApeis took unique hairstyles, background music, voiced lines and animations (e.g. the killing animations), used them as "placeholder assets" in his videos and still claims that his game was an improvement on Yandere Sim. The assets I just called out were made by volunteers for Yandere Simulator and DrApeis just used and presented them without even asking for permission. You guys can think of Yandere Dev what you want, but DrApiss isn't better at all. Especially since he doesn't understand what he did wrong. How come Yandere Dev can't use things he bought at an asset store, but DrApeis can take COPYRIGHTED assets without permission?

Also this character looks more like a better-made kuudere to me than a yandere. Not that the mixture of the two doesn't exist, see what'shername from Guilty Crown, or Mirai Kuriyama from Kyoukai no Kanata as a better example, but all Alex managed to create is a character with no personality.

From the Yansim Debunk page regarding assets: "Ever since early 2015, the majority of the game's assets have been original... Every single model presently in Yandere Simulator is a model that was created exclusively for Yandere Simulator, or a model that was legally purchased from an online store. (The models that come from online stores make up a very small fraction of the total number of assets in the game.)" Even if the character assets were legally bought, they still make up a significant part of the game and were hardly altered.

This person didn’t make this point because they wanted to be ‘right’ as you claim. Just to clear some stuff up for anyone that happens to see this comment in the wave of comments: yes it is lazy to not make your main character model/design original, and yes yandev has stolen assets for his game. BUT this one in particular was not stolen. It’s sold on the asset store for the express purpose to put in unity games (even games that make money). That’s what the unity asset store is for. The idea is that a one person indie team may not be able to make every little thing themself, and therefor paying for assets is an affordable way to speed up development time. Mostly this is used for random items that don’t matter whether they’re original or not (like a soda machine or a knife).
I know people love to (rightfully) dunk on yandev for his shady tactics, but I think it does no good to let lies spread. Even if you don’t care about yandev, the idea that using unity store assets is “stealing” hurts actual, legitimate game devs.

You know you've watched too much YS related stuff when RUclips directly recommends the Assets of the game
Imagine making this model and many others for the sole purpose of giving small time developers assets to use in their free games or as placeholders, then some guy comes, buys the model and a bunch of others as well, (and outright stealing from others) claiming everything about the models (their clothes, animations, even the models themselves) were created by him, while it's literally just the models from the store he bought, but only changing minor things like the model's hair color.
The guy claims these are only "placeholders", but keeps them way past the time they should be replaced, 6 years in fact, then goes off and starts selling merch of said models and selling his off his "charaters" to be put in porn games.
And to top it all off the guy is complaining that other developers are buying these models and using them as either placeholders or assets for their free games (you know like the creators originally intended) and are "stealing" his " hard work". Unbelievable.
The first thing I thought when he was like "they are placeholders" but still won't change them simply because he can't do it. If he'll try to change a core game's models, his code will probably collapse and it's much harder for him than he let's it out lmao.

Dreamedcar gaming he has stated several times that the assets were made specifically for Yandere Simulator which is a myth. And on his Discord he has threatened legal action to anyone trying to use said assets for their game despite the fact he doesn’t own them nor does he credit the original creators.
@@danpower-JP Yes he does own the majority of the assets in game. And I mean: The majority of the assets are made by him, they arent used as much as the used assets but they ARE, such as the sanity meter.

putting the attrocity that is yan sim aside, these models are actually really really neat. no wonder alex decided to yoink them.
Okay so we know he didn't credit these models until he got caught. But I doubt he paid for them either. I'm sure you could find an unofficial free download for these if you're willing to look hard enough.
We know Alex doesn't like having to buy things. He doesn't pay volunteers and steals assets and art from places like deviantart and tumblr all the time. He also used to steam as Evaxephon where he apparently was caught pirating games.
