There is no substance in the acolyte. The story they are trying to tell would fit better in an episode of Law and order SVU.

You missed a point, it's walking talking spite and it appears to be an outlet for Headland to discuss her sister issues. As Paul Chato pointed out, Kennedy has been trying to kill Luke for years, now it becomes clear that she wants to kill Anakin, the Jedi and the Force too.
Yea, you are right. There is a lot of spite and it really feels like in Hamlet 2 when Steve Coogan is asking the audience if they understood the play was about his relationship with his father. Also, I am going to check out Paul Chato because that sounds exactly like what I have felt and not been able to put my finger on. There seems to be disdain for Luke, Anakin, and the Jedi.
@@holdmydualshock Chato is very interesting. Very intelligent takes based on his years of experience as a TV exec. He has his anti woke moments, but is very based most of the time.
At this point I'm convinced that they're doing it for the memes making fun of the acolyte to pump up the # on X

The only things I found offensive in this show, was how terrible the writing the production and the lore shredding idiocy

These are not writers as in entertainment writers where they are meant to be creative, imaginative, passionate, focused. They are activists who want to blog about their own lives but know they won't get the audience so incorporate themselves into beloved IP's. All in the hope to get themselves projected onto as many people as possible to feed their narcissism and in the hope that they themselves become beloved icons.
It's just so grotesque.

Thanks for asking. So all over the internet are memes where people are using Harbin hotel as part of their arguments. A lot of them based around lgbtq stuff.
This 3rd episode of the Acolyte is so bad that it can’t be taken serious. I can’t see it bringing down Star Wars. In order for something to bring Star Wars down, it would have to be at least a plausible scenario that could be taken seriously and challenge the lore of Star Wars itself. This show is the complete opposite of that. A lesbian coven of witches moaning and groaning with their hands in the air saying “The power of 1, The power of 2, The power of Maaaany” is not going to bring down George Lucas’s Star Wars in my humble opinion. This is just an extremely terrible show that was obviously made by someone that doesn’t know what they’re doing. Lesley Headland should have never been given the opportunity to direct this show. She is trying to use this show as therapy to work out her own issues with her sister. She was Weinstein’s assistant and benefited from the good ole boy network that Hollywood loves to do. (And we know how wonderful the good ole boy network produces great results, right 🙄? But I digress 😊) Anyway, this is just another bad show in a string of bad shows that Disney has made. Until they stop with these agendas and clean house from the top to bottom, I don’t see anything changing anytime soon.

Here's a big indication that prove the acolyte writers don't know shit about Star wars (to the best of my memory of Star wars legends lore) : Remember Darth Plagueis? He dedicated most of his sith life trying to control the force and bend it to his will as opposed to the jedi who think they are 'servants' of the force. But the force literally denied him, because it has a some kind of consciousness of its own.
Now you're telling me that a bunch of lesbians in space could use it casually and even pro create humans using the force, while Plagueis couldn't for years (well except that thing about Anakkin but it was at the very end of his life when he realized it) ? WTH!
And thanks for using Hazbin Hotel as the prime example of the direction Star Wars is drifting in because of the Jedi, the core characters of the entire franchise being demonized as bad guys. I mean, this is so wrong!
I agree this trash but when I watched it don’t be thinking how it fit into the larger universe I just want a good story and don’t see this George Lucas Star Wars I look at this as it is too when Film Threat started this the end of Star Wars nonsense not one terrible show gonna end 47year franchise to me that’s stupid what he said in my opinion and clickbait now you see other channels doing same thing to get views

What’s only being kept alive now by actual admirers of the original vision that Lucas had, is the memory of what it once was.

Spaceballs was way better than the Acolyte. The characters are ridiculous and unbeleivable. Hell, Rey crap is better than this crud. The story sucked raw rotten eggs and the DEI and absense of white people makes it unwatchable. The biggest Disney dumpster fire to date.
I take exception at that, after all spaceballs was actually funny. I know because I've watched it several times. Disney's star wars just sucks both balls and ass.
