Firefly, The Expanse, Lucifer all had viewers fighting to get extra seasons but for The Acolshite you have the creator begging for one which shows that the love or support just isn't there. The whole Plagueis tripe is just cringe because it has nothing to do with fan service it was all to do with Headland (and KK) putting their stamp at the beginning of star wars. For them to say yes see we are the ones that put everything into motion, to make them synonymous with Star Wars forever. It's so pathetic and narcissistic.

Acolyte failed hard no where to be seen on Nielsen ratings and other ratings systems to be honest I don’t know I can stomach this awful show again and she said Acolyte inspired by Cowboy bebop WTF!!!!???seen no signs of that in every episode and it’s insulting I love love Cowboy Bebop
The fact that they gave Headland this show to helm shows they aren't in this for "the girls" or "the community" She was Harvey F'ing Weinstein's personal assistant and of course a personal assistant wouldn't know or suspect the person they are assistating is a vile creep.

If the creators of the acolyte were smart, they would have put out a spoof video that did a mea culpa through self deprecating humor. Invite a bunch of other star wars actors to join in the fun...maybe a group counseling support session with Mark Hamil as the therapist. "I hear you saying you don't feel appreciated as a Sith Lord".

77 I was 6 years old in the theater Modesto California being blown away by Star Wars and then when empire strikes back came out I was totally blown away by Yoda I've seen every Star Wars movie in the theater even the clone Wars anime movie in the theater,,, I love all the fight scenes in the Star Wars acolyte that was it when you killed off Trinity and Jackie and a wookie you ticked me off she messes up Yoda if she messes up Yoda oh oh oh oh oh she better not mess up Yoda when George Lucas sold Star Wars he said a cat a contract lock on Yoda for no one else to use him I don't know what's going on here with Yoda but she better not mess him up

His breakdown of Into the Spiderverse is really one of the best movie breakdowns I’ve ever seen. So in what I expected to be nuclear review of Acolyte… well he didn’t make it past the 4th episode.
She made a character that, in my opinion, was interesting, which was Sol everyone else I couldn't care less. Would I want another season? No, because if they did, they would further ruin Yoda and Plagueis. The one good thing this show has inspired me to do is write a fanfic that is loyal to George and the books Legends. If anyone makes a fanfic that eliminates Osha, Mae, and even Rey and restores the story to how it was meant to be, I will be happy to read it.
In that crouching tiger scene, Sol can easily kill Qimir by just lifting up his saber upward. Obi wan emphasizes you don’t give up the high ground. Sure, best lightsaber action 😢

No. I ended my Disney+ subscription because of this. I have all of the Star Wars movies and animation I want on DVD/Blu-Ray. For me it was not about DEI. IT was the bad writing and story. I have read better fan fiction written by 5th graders strung out on pizza and Mountain Dew.
Inspired by Bebop.........where? This has been a weird one. More of the same in many ways - men dumb, the force is female, fathers wanting to protect their female children is 'benign sexism ' and pervy etc. I didn't watch, finding the various online takes far more interesting than I ever felt the actual series would be. My impression from this distance is that this show suffered from being an overly complex brew of wish fulfilment, ideology and poorly utilised influences. It also seems, in part, to have been a vehicle for Hedland's kinks - her wife's whip light sabre, the allure of the darkside, brooding hunky bad boy etc. (I did expect some wincest, season 2?) Will there be a season 2? I don't actually care, I can't imagine that I'll feel moved to watch that either.

I watched episode one thru six yesterday and the day before and I loved it! Watched em all in order back to back and felt like the circle was complete… that’s Star Wars! Everything else is fandom… weird tales and fantasies of some weird individuals although I will say of course mando was dope and so was andor I could go for another season of either… this show added sprinkles of star wars to keep those weirdos who overreact at movie theaters when something blows up, wanting a season two but not sure and that shows just how bad this shows writing and some acting was… I don’t watch movies for the amount of black or white people are in it or how many powerful female leads there are or if there’s gonna be gay characters or not, all that shit is stupid… I watch content because it’s good… this absolutely wasn’t good…
