I can not speak for everybody who follows your videos, myself I think it is a great idea for you to buy a salt water croc, as you will give it the best home, it will help to educate people, and as your not taking a animal from the wild but only having a captive bred animal, I am not sure how many salt water crocs are bred that are for sale, but I could imagine it not being that easy to find buyers for them, that actually know how to care for such a aggressive predator. As usual Chris and Gabby, loved the video, love to see the excitement the both of you are having for now living your dreams, your hard work, dedication has paid off.
That was so cool to watch, especially how it cracked the egg! The property is really beautiful and I'm excited to see your vision become reality. You both show such dedication to the well-being of all your current and future rescues, and deserve everything good in your lives!💚
Amazing that wild snake ate right in front of you! Thanks so much for sharing this moment with us! Thanks for explaining the rescues vs getting animals you want - I was under the impression they were ALL rescues and wanted to know every animal's story. Now I know why you don't always mention the rescue story - it just clarified your reasons. Sorry I missed this video when it came out; I don't think I was watching y'all every day then.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing! Love seeing how the land is being converted to each habitat. Looks wonderful. 🙂 (The prairie dog situation absolutely cracked me up, can't wait to see them hanging out together.)
Great video! I love the walk through as you explain your plans! The yellow rat snake is nostalgic for me, the first species I ever caught as a six year old living in Titusville. Again, I'm over the top happy for you guys and can't wait to see what you do.
Love all your ideas you are coming up with on this video. Not knowing about what ever the 4 will be is fun. Hope all is going to plan. Dreaming of things is half of the fun and then feeling satisfaction seeing it come to being is a rewarding experience for you two. I love your property and pray that none of the hurricanes that come into existence this year will affect you or the property and all your animals in any negative circumstances. Take care and stay positive always. A contributes wanting only the best for both of you here👍
Sooo incredible how the snake swallowed the egg! 😮😮😮 Never saw it (almost) before my very eyes! Thanks so much for sharing, guys. Gonna watch the rest of the vid later.
A Koala enclosure! That'd be super cool. Not a lip reader though. Love seeing your sanctuary dreams come together from the ground up! Look forward to following along the way.
You should get any animal you want! You would take the best care of a bought or rescued animal. No judgment here! Never apologize. You are two wonderful caring people. I can’t wait to see all the animals in their new enclosures. Thanks for all that you do!❤
I was born and raised in Florida so your sanctuary is very near and dear to my heart. My grandmother lived in Palatka which is not too far from you guys. Can't wait to come visit the sanctuary when it's finished!!
I think i heard Chris start to say yall were getting some koala's. thatd be so awesome!!! if I'm wrong, I'm sure whatever it is will be equally awesome!!! 🖤
Incredible video of the Rat Snake! The aviary is going to look amazing 🤩 I’m so excited to see the Prairie Dog exhibit, I absolutely adore them. I’m really sorry about Elmo. I know Chris had a really special bond with Elmo, I hope he’s doing okay.
Thank you for clarifying which one of your animals are rescues versus purchases. I have nothing against people responsibly buying their dream animals, I just hate when people try to play it off that animal’s they bought are rescues when they aren’t! You guys do great work and it’s been fun to watch the process
I am so happy for you guys and for all the animals that get to live with you! Also I love the longer videos I watch them before I go to sleep and it's just so interesting and educational and also seeing you guys happy makes me happy! ❤ I hope one day I'll have the funds to visit and bring gifts for everyone 😊 love from the Netherlands
Hope you guys are enjoying your beautiful new property! Looks like heaven. I'll take a rat or king snake to a copperhead or water moccasin anyday! 😊 Kingsnakes are so chill and will even nest under the warmth of momma chickens belly and enjoy the free buffet of eggs. 🐍
I have been patiently waiting for a video!!! WOW you guys have done A LOT so far. I realize you have tons more to do on top of unpacking, getting the animals you do have set up and safe. Watching that snake eat that egg Wowza, I can't wait to see your guys vision come to fruition. You BITH are so Wonderful and Caring to ALL animals you encounter and rescue. I am so thrilled for you both to find that Beautiful oasis you could walk for days around there CANT WAIT TO SEE what's next🤗 Good Luck with all the building yet to do and GOD BLESS🙏
That was amazing…I had no idea they cracked the egg internally. We back on a river in N Delaware and see lots of snakes. My father taught me to love snakes…as a teen in the 30s he made money for flying lessons catching rattlers fir a scientist in San Antonio trying to develop anti venom. Belfries I became too disabled to safely move them I always stopped and moved snakes, including rattlers, off roads. Sadly there are folks who deliberately run them over and there are lots of accidental snake deaths as well. There are so many silly myths about snakes…they really don’t want to bite anyone and certainly don’y waste their venom on something they can’t eat…
I had to dig two feet down around the perimeter of my chicken coop and chicken yard. Put two stacked cement cinder blocks end to end in the dug trench. Covered it back up and planted no poisonous hedges string the out side of the coop too. On the outside of the coop pen I put up hard ware cloth instead of chicken coop wire over that I put shade cloth leaving one space in the yard of it uncovers so they could get some sun.
Snakes and rodents are the hardest to keep out. But eventually I managed it. We have huge bird of prey here too so covering the top was essential. The fox under the fence so putting the cinder blocks under stopped thst.
He said it too fast for me to lipread. lol I'm getting either capybara or croc monitor. (Talk about drastically different ends of the animal spectrum!)
I’m thinking capybara too. They are “giant Guinea Pigs”, very social, and don’t mind human attention. Oh, and they love water, and the Florida climate is close to what they they live in in South America.
The property and enclosure build looks grea so far. I didn't know other types of snakes would eat eggs besides African egg eating snakes so learned something new. Also in my opinion don't feel bad about wanting to buy a certain animal as you both are more than qualified to care for them. Do what makes you guys happy.
Just a guess but coatis and hell yes you can buy any animal u want especially when you're able to take care of them all properly keep up the good work guys
Goodness ! That was amazing ! Wow , it looks like there is no way it's going to fit , even when he has it in his mouth . Very cool. love you guys so much !❤❤❤🐍
Hi Chris Loved this video. Thanks for sharing that yellow rat snake eating two chicken eggs. You could hear it cracking it inside its body. I'm glad that you released it on your beautiful property. Thanks for the update on the Avery build. It will be good to see the prarie dog enclosure. It will be so nice to have trails with animal enclosures to see. It's so great that you are not cutting down any of the beautiful trees, just the under brush. Can't wait to see any new animals. Cindy
So awesome guys! You guys have such a good attitude about your eggs being eaten…..especially right in front of you, lol 😆. Your property looks like it’s going to be a paradise for animal and animal lovers! I am excited for you and I can’t wait to see it all! I think you guys should be able to get any and all of the animals you want without criticism! It is none of anyone’s business what you both do with your time and money as long as nobody is getting hurt. I say go for it……get everything you have ever wanted! You only live once, and this is your dream! 😄💙🐬🐍🐊🫶🏼🥰
That was SO COOL to see!! It’s amazing how much they can stretch!! And watching it crack the egg-you could hear it and everything?! I was so surprised it went on to eat the next egg once you guys and the dogs were already in there. Loved seeing the property coming along too! I live across the country but 100% have a dream of making it over to visit someday when it’s open for that!!
I've seen an egg-eater snake eat before, but never seen a non-specialty eater snake eat an egg. It was fascinating! That snake got his protein XD Such cool bones of enclosures already, can't wait to see what ya'll do with all the space you have!
I didn’t get notified 😕 luckily it was on my home page. X That was possibly the best wildlife moment I’ve ever watched. I just wish I’d witnessed it myself. 😄
i was hoping you where getting clouded leopard's ...but.. i think Chris said Coatis ?..which are epic tooooo carnt wait🌞🌞 i love you enclosure habitat walk trail ...i love your property and channel ....soooo excited for you both 🌞🌞💚💚🌴🌴🐊🐊🐢🐢🦎🦎🐍🐍🦉🦉🦋🦋🐸🐸🧜♂🧜♂🦕🦕🦝🦝🦊🦊🐯🐯🐵🐵🐸🐸🐨🐨🐼🐼🐒🐒🦧🦧🦍🦍🐆🐆🐅🐅🦌🦌🦏🦏🦛🦛🦘🦘🦥🦥🦨🦨🐿🐿🦎🦎🐊🐊🐢🐢🐍🐍🦖🦖🦦🦦🦃🦃🦜🦜🦩🦩🦚🦚🦉🦉🐦🐦🦋🦋🦇🦇🐌🐌
That was very cool 😎 He is lucky you two are snake lovers and allowed him 2 free meals Maybe you can bring him an egg here and there and leave them on his doorstep lol 😂 now you know where his new home is.
Bro I am litteraly obseded with your videos!!! Keep udpating about your new property and all the work you do with the animals! *Question: Do you train any other animals except crocodilians???
Got no problem with you buying animals that you want but can't rescue..as long as they have a good home and are happy then that's the main thing & I'm sure you'll give them a better home than they'd have anywhere else.
The things predate on various kinds of vermin which is good but they also eat eggs and small livestock. Someone who doesn't have the small livestock should leave them be otherwise do what you must.
I got to watch my sister’s boa stalk, strike, wrap and eat a live, but mangled mouse dragged in by one of my cats. Like your egg eating snake my experience was fascinating too!
The moment he cracked the egg after swallowing it was sooo cool!! So neat you captured it. Thanks for sharing

Chris is so funny😂. He is so open about the rescue community and where he and Gabby stand❤
Wow so cool watching snake internally crack the egg..never seen that before! 🤙
What a magical place you have. Really enjoying watching everything come together and the animals enjoying their new home. 💚
Nice sharing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow! It really is yellow the light. He looked really dark in the corner, but in the sunlight he looks bright yellow.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing! Love seeing how the land is being converted to each habitat. Looks wonderful. 🙂 (The prairie dog situation absolutely cracked me up, can't wait to see them hanging out together.)
Amazing to see the magnitude of your enclosures and animals. Great work.

It sure seemed like he mouthed “Koi Pond” which would be so cool, either way yall are the best!

right!!! with all the work they've done saving rescues and all the good they've done, they deserve to have every animal they've ever wanted.
this
This property is unreal. So happy for you guys! Thank you for your amazing work with animals ❤️
I was born and raised in Florida so your sanctuary is very near and dear to my heart. My grandmother lived in Palatka which is not too far from you guys. Can't wait to come visit the sanctuary when it's finished!!

I would be the same, not upset or scared…just fascinated and wanting to watch.

Glad things are working out with the new property it will Look and is very nice...🙀

You should have a gate that looks likes it going to an underground bunker and a raptor got someone. Just a fun play on jurrasic Park.
I let 1/2 of the dust bathing 1/2 inch shallow holes get sun some past if the day so picking that area to not put the shade canvas on was important.
Snakes and rodents are the hardest to keep out. But eventually I managed it. We have huge bird of prey here too so covering the top was essential. The fox under the fence so putting the cinder blocks under stopped thst.
Your place is amazing. Ty for sharing your adventure with us
You guys are awesome keep up the great work your doing.. Can't wait to visit.
That was extremely awesome!. I love snakes.
He said it too fast for me to lipread. lol I'm getting either capybara or croc monitor. (Talk about drastically different ends of the animal spectrum!)
My partner has been obsessed with capybaras lately. I hope you're right about that
I’m thinking capybara too. They are “giant Guinea Pigs”, very social, and don’t mind human attention. Oh, and they love water, and the Florida climate is close to what they they live in in South America.
I thought Koala...
That was a legitimately cool thing to witness. Thank you for sharing.

That property is like a real Garden of Eden!
Snake eats egg:
Indignant Chicken noises.
Loved the rat snake eating. Alot of work but also fun getting to set your place up. Keep on going!
So awesome, and such an amazing property!
Snakes are the definition of mind over matter. If they can dream it, they'll do it.
So happy for the both of you!! :)
Wow
Well it's not everyday a wild snake hangs out and eats infront of you nevermind an egg eater. Very cool
Love from Sweden. ❤🙏🏻
Great ideas Chris and Gabby ! 👍❤️👍🐊🎉
This is so cool that's y'all are building it all yourself
Awesome 👏 it’s going to be beautiful ❤
Its amazing what certain species can actually eat relative to their head size, that's super cool! That'd be like us swallowing a watermelon whole lol
Wow u guys move fast. Cool stuff happening 🤙👍
This place looks gorgeous! When do hope to open for tours? Or will you just be doing videos and keeping it private and closed?
PLEASE SHOW PETTING THE DOGS, AND WHEN THEY COME TO YOU
The things predate on various kinds of vermin which is good but they also eat eggs and small livestock. Someone who doesn't have the small livestock should leave them be otherwise do what you must.
Have you guys tried moth balls and sulfur around your property line. Ya'll place is really coming together so nicely and it is beautiful ❤
amazing how this little snake can expand its jaws that much to eat chicken eggs
❤
Amazing video, thank you!
WOW, cool!👌🏻👍🏻❤ Sara from South Africa🇿🇦
I got to watch my sister’s boa stalk, strike, wrap and eat a live, but mangled mouse dragged in by one of my cats.
