- Peaches was living on a golf course for 1-3 months. We were old golfers would feed him fruits but also things like crackers and bread.
With summer temps coming very soon we doubt he would have survived a lot longer.
Dumping Guinea pigs has sadly become too common lately. Scgpr needs more foster homes in order to save more Guinea pigs like Peaches! Please see our links below!
Southern California Guinea Pig Rescue (SCGPR) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of neglected, abandoned, and at-risk Guinea Pigs.
Our adoptable Guinea Pigs are cared for in homes by foster volunteers, and our organization operates entirely on donations. Our network spans the whole of Southern California, and we work to serve every community throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.

The first piggies we had were abandoned in a box outside our local pet store, they had over five years with us being spoiled rotten. The only consolation in this is that if they hadn’t been cruel to them we wouldn’t have been able to give them a safe happy life. I hope this cute furball gets the same and never has another worry in life.
Pretty pigs.
Peaches is beautiful! Look how happy!!
I love you all who take care of all my piggies. Coodles!!!!!❤
poor baby 😞 it’s heartbreaking to see people abandoning their furry friends
What a positive ending for this sweet little piggy. How he survived alone like that is certainly a miracle. Seeing him happy and popcorning with his new friend just brought tears to my eyes. He is already on the road to forgetting how difficult his life on the golf course was and how frightened he must have been. Many thanks to all of you and especially to his new foster mom. She has worked wonders with him in a very short time. Have a wonderful life Peaches. You certainly deserve it!
Thank you for saving him.
They are so cute
I remember when my boys were babies and they did those lightning fast zoomies. Lol Glad to see Peaches so happy with his new home and friend.
Hope he gets that great home. These little piggies are Mother Nature's munchkins of the animal world. So so cute and adorable. Just love em❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Poor little baby. Thank God you were able to save him. Thank you for always being there for these little cuties. You are all angels! ❤❤❤
Isn't that the best feeling knowing they feel safe and are happy. Must be so rewarding to see zoomies and popcorning. Much respect to you folks.
They seem so happy lots of popcorning!!
Their delighted popcorn are the sweetest! It's wonderful to hear that there's people wanting to help 😊💖
They’re soooo cute popcorning
Thank you for saving him. So sorry that he was abandoned. He is beautiful!
So sweet to see him safe and happy with his new little friend -so much so that he is popcorning now! 😀
Thanks a lot for saving this poor little precious piggy 🐹 Finally he got a new home 🥺❤. He looks so happy now ❤
Thank you for rescuing Peaches. God Bless You All.
Aww the babies excitement is continuous ❤
Wish I could help you. I have 9 piggies of my own. 3 ladies are almost 7, 3 ladies are almost 5, and the other boys and girl are about 2-3 years old. I have decided once my seniors start passing on to foster. I just need to figure out how that will work out where I am at. I am glad to see so many people taking in these exotic pets to help them.
What a good ending to a sad story so adorable

Peaches is such a beautiful piggy, thank u for helping him
It's so amazing to see an abandoned piggie who had little hope of surviving where he was now living the best life with a new friend. Peaches and Machiato seem to enjoy each other's company and the popcorn zoomies are just too adorable for words. ❤️🔥🤘🏻
So glad beautiful Peaches is safe now , from his harrowing time on the golf course, so great he was rescued 🐹💗
