It's so sad because that was a gorgeous large home for them. Clearly their previous owners cared but maybe something happened to where they had to leave them with the house, assuming the new owners would take care of them. Glad they were able to be rescued

It just makes me mad how adults can be so irresponsible. The first people could call someone before they left from the house. And the people came after saying that there are only two options either freeing them or killing them. I swear some people.... Thank goodness this security guard was there and actually cared. Thank you for helping all these animals.

I was reading the comments about the owner of the birds. People are assuming the owner just left the birds to die...
We dont know what happened why the birds were left behind but this is Florida and Florida is the number one state for retired people to live. People move here to retire and then die or get very sick and put into nursing homes. Leaving no one to care for their pets. Its very possible the owner of these birds died or is now in a nursing home.
Im just glad these people rescued these poor little birds and they now have a new home that is caring for the birds...
Thank you for saving the birds.
Just wondering was their any nest with eggs? The owner could have been breeding birds. So there could have been nest with eggs...

Although I'm a believer of There are at least 2, or more, in every story. With that said, I find it hard to believe anyone could leave animals behind, much less abandon them elsewhere. Unless of course a sad event such as death or illness intervenes. Abandonment can happen whatever the situation. I guess the question remains, would it have been better to leave them cooped up to fend as best they can till help comes along or do you set them into the environment to also fend for themselves.
I for one, am grateful for people, such as these two, who make it their mission to rescue, tend to, and love the animals coming into their care. Kudos from me and wildlife. 😊❤
