Remember when Lestat was playing the piano at Christmas? He mentioned Greece, Those Who Are Kept, and Marius De Romanus these little Easter eggs are going to be pivotal in the coming seasons.
I hope they get far enough into the story and universe to actually get to Those Who Must Be Kept and Marius de Romanus. Unfortunately, sometimes t.v networks are not as enthusiastic about these stories as fans are.
I never thought about it like that. Louis slit his throat to drain the bad blood out. He then put the weakened Lestat in the trunk with the locks on the inside so he could open it and escape. Lestat fed on the rats in the dump to replenish his blood supply. Claudia didn't even realize what Louis did.

Claudia wanted to burn Least to be sure he wasn't coming back, Louis knew it would be a final fair well and he couldn't handle that. That's why he's struggling so much now; with the thought that Least may no longer be with him. Because I really believe he feels like he should have come for him by now, Louis is looking for someone to rescue him, he looking for his first Least, he need him. I believe Armond is holding Louis hostage and keeping Lestat away. Armond is doing it out of spite and anger for the way things ended between Armond and Lestat. Least broke Armon's heart and Louis broke Least's heart.

I love how you figured out Antoinette was a vampire at the ball. I heard her and knew it was her but didn't put it together until the reveal! 😂😂 When Lestat said I wasn't talking to you to Louis I said "Well who the hell you talking to Lestat!!!!!" 😂 When Armand took them contacts out I said Aww hell. That's the equivalent of a black woman taking her earrings off. 😂😂
Unfortunately the new subtitles exposed that it was Antoinette at the ball when the original didn’t. So anyone could then guess she was turned by Lestat. I hate that for first time viewers.

A very satisfying finale. A bit odd right at the end if one hasn't read the books or seen the film. But so much revealed in character and plot. We see a hint of Louis' darkness, Claudia's cunning. Daniel has finally had enough of Louis' BS. All building across the season. I was surprised it was so satisfying to see Daniel lay into Louis. I like this Louis a lot more than book Louis but there's still a denial about him, an inability to be honest about who he is, that gets under the skin a little :P. All very well-acted.
It was so much fun rewatching (for the millionth time 😂) with you two! I'll be here for S2! You're indeed lucky it's so close, the wait was LONG 😭 They really fckd up with the captions mentioning Antoinette, they should've written "voice" or something... S2 will be the 2nd half of the book but something I love about this adaptation is that they've already been including elements, characters and plots from other books, which elevates everything! In S3 we'll get Lestat's side of the story, so far we've only heard about him through others' POVs 👀 Armand is a big deal in the Vampire Chronicles, Antonio Banderas played him in the 1994 movie. It'd be so great if you could make a video reacting to all teasers and trailers that have been released to pump the hype! It's gonna be so messy and dramatic, I cannot wait to see what they cooked for us!!!

You guys are crazy! "I thought below the porch meant something else." You had me spitting up, snorting my margarita through the nose, laughing so hard. And those comments about Claudia. Yes, to all of it. Yes. She learned her killer instinct from Lestat. The reactions were great! There is so much I could say about this episode, Armond, the age of the vampires, the sun lore, diseased and tainted blood, but the time I'm keeping it locked. I'm curious to see what they'll do with season 2 and even more excited to see your reactions. Lestat, on the other hand, is a full-blown diva, and hell, yes, he was prancing/strutting for the crowd, but also for Louis. I'll just say he was a character as a human, likable, relatable, and quite a decent person, actually. He loved the theatre and has a history with the violin. I also like that you guys appreciated Lestat's love language of speaking poetry to Louis. And Louis, the love-sick sap, just lapse it up. Lol! Lestat is pretty irresistible, though. You can't help but love book Louis and Lestat's Love. It was still toxic and a bit unhealthy and horrifying for a fledgling, but they are vampires. Book Lestat is my second favorite vampire in The Vampire Chronicles. Unfortunately, Louis is like 6th or 7th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that season 2 won't be too far out of the scope of the book series. Side note: when TVC vampires haven't fed enough, their bodies can appear as hard and cold as marble. Their skin is white/pale and almost translucent, which makes their beauty seem monstrous to humans. When they feast on human blood, like Lestat, Louis, and Claudia at the masquerade, they grow warm, their skin almost human-like, which allows them to move easier among humans. When they starve themselves like that, they are more predatory and dangerous than ever. Oh, I'm glad you guys noticed Louis hearing Antoinette's telepathic voice, which means Antoinette probably hadn't mastered the skill of shielding her thoughts, or she's too young/newly made to keep them from Louis or Claudia. Some vampires (older ones) can read human and older vampire's thoughts even when they don't want to. They have to shield themselves against incoming telepathic traffic. And the baby thing. Lestat went through a phase when he would feed from infants. His doing it on stage or that Mardi Gras float might have been a nod to one of book Lestat's past deeds/transgressions. Depending on how you look at it. Try not to judge him harshly for it, though, or at least not until after you've read the books. If you want or plan to do that.
I can't believe they spoiled everyone like that with the subtitles like wdym "Antoinette" !! The way i read that the first time and didn't predict a single thing but you clocked it tho 😭 I was too invested forgot about it immediately lol. It makes so much sense why Lestat knew Claudia was on the train back then, that's how she knew i'm sure Louis is all about that moral compass but he's sooo disgusting when he kills like girl you just tore that man's jaw!!!! You're just like Lestat right now Sooo fun watching this s1 with yall and I'm sure a lot of us have watched the show many times + a lot of other reactions but you're part of my favorite reactors for sure !!
