Armand: *Here, let me get it out.* Daniel: No thank you, I don't wanna die. Butler: Bonjour, Sir was blinking at me is this because your date is a freak? ... Daniel: No. Butler: Very good then, bon appétit.
Armand and Louis are tortured "souls". Different in their beliefs but have trauma bonding. It never left them and only intensified after becoming a vampire as their senses intensified. It Also is a testement of the eras louis and Armands core memories reside. Regular humans memories fade with time. Vampire memories( are sharp and fresh) .
Antonio Banderas is pure sexappeal, his version of Armand blew my 9 year old mind. I really don't care for any of the books, the 1994 movie is a masterpiece and I'm glad the creators did their own thing. The new show followed the same example, the fans of the books will b*tch no matter what you do. If I want a 1:1 adaptation of the source material I would simply stick to the novels, but I want a fresh perspective. I truly enjoy fan fiction because it's interesting to see other people's perspective. It's like reading reviews on IMDB, people tend to discover certain details I didn't even pay attention to or they add background information - staring at a screen for a while and then simply moving on to the next content is not how you should appreciate a good movie or show.
i dont get it either you live aslong as you want and if you get tired of it you just kill youreself in the sun or ask someone to kill you,i always felt that a vampires struggle with inmortality is so melodramatic. yes sometimes you can struggle with boredom but that doesnt mean life isnt good and there is always something to do especialy when you have vampire powers. and when it comes to living through a bad or even traumatic event my phylosofie is quat simple ones youre done with that situation you just dont care about it annymore it only weighs you down i would only care and invest in the fun times,so shit happened to you oke moving on ^^
I think the pain of it doesn't only come from long lives but also the fact you have to kill almost every night to maintain it. It means that you'll have to take the guilt and be very likely never able to establish normal relationships with most of the society. Life can be really painful when you are forced to become an outsider for good.
Lost relationships. Just imagine multiple lives worth of ups and downs. Not all in life is happy and good. Most vampires in this world don't last long as a "couple" or small coven. They grow to hate each other, do a lot of emotional damage to each other then leave.
It wouldn't. You would divorce from many aspects of day to day life however. As a martial artist I have all but set out to live in the wilderness. Once I accomplish the beach bod however that will change to my liking. Preferably Hawaii weather. Going for the circular style ranch home too. Complete with mobile shelter. If I can park my house I am doing well. Landing it too..
I wish they would stick closer to the book I never read the book but it seems to me when you stick to the book it's more entertaining instead of Queen of the Damned the movie was for emos and when was cringy.✌
hey Sam, it's what I like to call an introduction to the character, a build up to what is about to come. You don't just jump into their life with the opening sentence, otherwise it shows poor structure. I think you already knew that and left that comment anyway. Thanks for watching and have a great day

What a sad life, even after death... given youth for eternity, he still suffered greatly either way
I had a graphic novel that had a couple of the books in it.
He was the only reason I wanted to see the movie.
Daniel: I tried to get the waiter's attention by blinking in morse code.
Armand: *Why are you blinking so much?*
Daniel: I've got something in my eye.
Armand: *Here, let me get it out.*
Daniel: No thank you, I don't wanna die.
Butler: Bonjour, Sir was blinking at me is this because your date is a freak?
...
Daniel: No.
Butler: Very good then, bon appétit.
Armand has red hair in the novels!
Armond is my favorite vampire!!❤
Oh wow are they doing their real lives here or just interview? Armand and marquis and Gabrielle? Hoping.....
Movie Armand, to this day, is so hot it's unfair.
Armand was the first Anne Rice book I read. Brilliance
I thought at some point that River Phoenix was supposed to be in Annes movie but he died ...was he supposed to be young Daniel or Armand ????
he was going to play daniel before he passed
Blood and gold is my favourite book I love his origin and Marius
Armand and Louis are tortured "souls". Different in their beliefs but have trauma bonding. It never left them and only intensified after becoming a vampire as their senses intensified. It Also is a testement of the eras louis and Armands core memories reside. Regular humans memories fade with time. Vampire memories( are sharp and fresh) .
The most beautiful vampire ever

😢
🙌🏽
Im personally not even religious... but the intention of him is beyond touching.. so mortal.. he was very much "Alive"....
Why didnt they made those other books into movies
I wonder what you think of the ending of the new show.
Legends of the Fall
You simplified the true story
well yes, otherwise i'd be repeating a book
Great video, Dean!
Where is the life of Enkil?
Torn asunder by the maw of Akasha.
Maybe do one on the Vampire Azim?
Great suggestion!!!
Zenobia always fascinated me
I wae legit afraid of him.... Nice video
(Spoilers)
How do feel about his appearance in the new tv show?
Why would it be so depressing to live for centuries? I don't think I would mind that......🤷
If can be especially you live in serect
i dont get it either you live aslong as you want and if you get tired of it you just kill youreself in the sun or ask someone to kill you,i always felt that a vampires struggle with inmortality is so melodramatic.
yes sometimes you can struggle with boredom but that doesnt mean life isnt good and there is always something to do especialy when you have vampire powers.
and when it comes to living through a bad or even traumatic event my phylosofie is quat simple ones youre done with that situation you just dont care about it annymore it only weighs you down i would only care and invest in the fun times,so shit happened to you oke moving on ^^
I think the pain of it doesn't only come from long lives but also the fact you have to kill almost every night to maintain it.
You should read the Comic books as well.
Someone said I looked like Armand from vampire chronicles so I checked it out and yeah I look like this guy
I always thought Antonio Banderas was too tall and looked much older than Armand was supposed to look
Totally agree
Antonio is so hot as a vampire ☺️
Very cool!
Armand...simply beautiful!
I wish they would stick closer to the book I never read the book but it seems to me when you stick to the book it's more entertaining instead of Queen of the Damned the movie was for emos and when was cringy.✌
Doesn't actually say anything about armands life until 2:27! Js
hey Sam, it's what I like to call an introduction to the character, a build up to what is about to come. You don't just jump into their life with the opening sentence, otherwise it shows poor structure. I think you already knew that and left that comment anyway. Thanks for watching and have a great day
