I would turn your old avengers tower into an oscorp or a baxter building. could keep a similar look, change it up slightly, and have it near your avengers tower.
If you wait it may go on sale around this time next year, i did get the daily bugle on sale from Walmart's website last year. If this remains a lego exclusive it'll probably not go on sale
I notice that some stickers were crooked. May I suggest a pair of tweezers? That would allow a more accurate placement, then using your Adult Sized Fingers. BUT It's a Marvel-lous build.
I love seeing the Tower compared to other Modular’s it makes them feel tiny in comparison. You should use the parts from the Tower MOC for a Tony Stark mansion
The simplest thing would be to turn the old tower in a Stark tower (from the 1st avengers) otherwise there should be plenty of skyscrapers in fiction that could be remade. Oscorp comes to mind.
Honestly, It would be fun to see you moc the official set with the parts you have from your old moc to improve the height and make something really unique.
awesome set, great value for what you get, looks great and I can't stand Marvel stuff but I will be getting this. side note: get a more sturdy table bro sheesh! your flexing muscles kept flexing that table! thought the set was going to fall. Amazon has great 300lbs+ sturdy and raisable fully adjustable work benches for great prices...I use one in my studio and it's one of the best investments I ever made. build or do reviews standing or sitting! Cheers Alex...Sandy UT is getting colder!
Thank, I appreciate the feedback. I didn't realize I was bending it. The desk is rated at 270lbs. It's adjustable, which I love. I guess I need to stop leaning on it in reviews.
In the movies the bottom of the tower is a real life building that they put the avengers tower on top of. If you wanted to make it bigger you could MOC the base together!
Awesome set I wish the GWP was widely released, and not exclusive to the avengers tower You should take the pieces from the old tower and make a skyscraper in a similar style to the shmew tower and make it part of a shmew tower complex. IRL there are skyscrapers with smaller similar looking ones around it, it would be cool if you did the same in mindyapolis
Everyone wants an official Lego Stan Lee minifigure but no we get a Kevin Feige one instead. I can only imagine there must be some sort of rights issue with his estate otherwise you would have thought we would have had one by now.
Awesome video. As for the bugle being on a discount, Amazon has it for $300, so maybe the Avengers tower will go on sale. Who knows. I know once I double points order all my main sets for next year I will be able to get the set as my birthday gift and the ideas train for Christmas so it will be a win for me. I can't pass on the 4th Lego train set and got to keep the Marvel modular streak going as well.
Gotta use the old base or a revamped version! Kim Plata has some rebrickable base ideas. Also check out what Bevins Bricks did as well. The tower in the movie was on top of another building so it makes sense to have a base building to set it on. Can you make new floors in the new tower with some of the parts of the old tower? I was wondering if I could do this as well. Maybe buy 2! 😂😂
A great set and will definitely get it but might wait for a good promo. I would love for you to keep your MOC Avengers tower but if not, maybe you can use it to make the base floor for the new set 😉
@@poisxnashley I just counted the number of studs for the base of the tower and designed a building that could accommodate that. For the stability, I placed supports on each floor but I can never guarantee it.
Great review. My recommendation would be to have the new and your MOC of the avengers tower side by side, why? There similar in size and will give your cut skyline a great look because of the symmetries these buildings have, think about it.
Yep. Exactly my problem, i want it my town, for sure but is it worth 430£/500$ for that given the mf and accessories going ina box and the story means nothing
Nice review Alex. It pretty much reaffirmed to me that I don't like this building just like I didn't like the Daily bugle. It needs a base for sure. It just looks cut off at the bottom. If there was a "lobby base" i would like a lot better. As it stands, it is ok.
I kind of liked your moc a bit better, but if you're going to make a skyscraper with those pieces, why not make another tower from Marvel? Oscorp has a tower and so does Fisk? Might be fun.
I am just done building it :) for some reason i have sticker 48 left. I will have to go through the books again tomorrow. Also why the heck do those two black sticks come out at the bottom of the base street
So, I'm probably in the minority here, but while I get that it's awesome to have a tall skyscraper like that in a Lego city, I still think the Avengers Tower is just an ugly building. And on top of that, I think the Lego set of it is even uglier. Again, I get why some, most even, would disagree. I find the whole design a bit.. overdone, pretentious even. And hey, I enjoy most Marvel films, or I did for a while, but I have to agree with Captain America when he called it "that big ugly building in New York". And then the set itself takes the sweeping curves and the angles and such, and makes them look, in my opinion, all clunky and jagged. I don't think the design translates well into Lego, even at that scale. Again, I totally get wanting to have it in the city. And as for the Avengers Tower moc, well.. I'm 100% in favour of adding another cool skyscraper or large building of your own design to the city! I suggest a high-end hotel/resort like you might find in Las Vegas or Miami. Something landmark-sized, maybe even two buildings with a sky-bridge over the street!
Thanks for the comment. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. I totally forgot about that Captain America quote. Too funny! Thanks for the suggestion on what to build next. It should be fun.
I would turn your old avengers tower into an oscorp or a baxter building. could keep a similar look, change it up slightly, and have it near your avengers tower.
Suggestion for a new officebuilding for the public transportation services
If you wait it may go on sale around this time next year, i did get the daily bugle on sale from Walmart's website last year. If this remains a lego exclusive it'll probably not go on sale
You should build a Grand Central Station MOC and place the new avengers tower on top of it just like in the movies, it will help with its height!
Hmm, that's a neat idea. I am gonna consider this. Thanks!
@alexnunes it would be great, and it adds another train stop to Mindiapolis!
I notice that some stickers were crooked.

spatial!!! Really very big!! I love modulars to make my videos but I guess I can't afford this set yet...congratulations!
Great video! Thank you for showing us the side by side size difference of the Adventures Tower next to the Daily Bugle.
Lack of leg and arm printing for Cap is a huge oversight for a set with this high of a price point.
Brick artisan made e a base building (rebrickable) on a 48x48 plate. Maybe that would be interesting for the city 😊

I think this is the most likely scenario. I am excited to get that going.
Yowsers, 500 bucks! I'm sure Mindy wasn't giggling on that one!

Kim has already got a design for the Tower base. that would give you that boost in height
I agree. I have seen his designs and this is a possibility for sure.
this set is so cool wish i had it. good video
The incubator tank is the hybrid incubation chamber
Thank you!
I cannot wait until next week so I can finally buy this. I feel like this one has been a long time coming. Very exicted to build and display this.
The old tower moc might look good next to cafe corner at the airport. A visual counterpoint to the new tower.
That could work
Yes, could work. I think that area needs some attention.
In the movies the bottom of the tower is a real life building that they put the avengers tower on top of. If you wanted to make it bigger you could MOC the base together!
Yeah Avengers tower is build on top of of the MetLife building and that is attached to Grand Central Station
We never see the bugle on discount?
Ummm… definitely in the uk we haven’t seen it full price
Nice review! I'm excited that the Hulk has a movable head this time. Looking forward to picking this up.
This is the first Hulk for my collection. I was not aware the head was stationary before. That's a nice improvement.
So yeah, looks like I will be purchasing my third Avengers tower. This looks so great!
Hi love your review, is it possible to hold it by the middle?
Yes, you could hold it in the middle, but the best way to carry is a hand under the base and one on the side.
@@alexnunes thank you very much!
Nice! :D

Out fit with a train network !
Awesome video, great that you put it in your city in the video, one of the most interesting thing actually!
Everyone wants an official Lego Stan Lee minifigure but no we get a Kevin Feige one instead.

That looks amazing in the city!!
I think the old tower should be in your office for now on....
Good review. I am not a Marvel fan, but watching your review of the building with your comments was good. 😊

Yo! I've seen your base floor on Instagram - how did you manage to make sure it fits and keeps it stable when the instructions aren't available yet?
@@poisxnashley I just counted the number of studs for the base of the tower and designed a building that could accommodate that. For the stability, I placed supports on each floor but I can never guarantee it.
@@brickartisan Ah, awesome! You did a great job, by the way, the official model really misses the Grand Central
Definitely looking at your MOCs. I'll give it a go with what I have, but nice to know the community has you to improve these sets as they come out.
@@alexnunes Always happy to help 😊
Amazing! 😍
I was wondering if you were going to do a comparison of your moc and the official avengers tower. Can’t wait to see that video of them side by side!
I love it. I want it. But $550. Jeez. Guess I’m waiting for a spectacular deal. Glad to make a cameo in this review too. Lol
Great review. My recommendation would be to have the new and your MOC of the avengers tower side by side, why? There similar in size and will give your cut skyline a great look because of the symmetries these buildings have, think about it.
looks like a great build. eventually i will pick it up
A stop motion build, maybe?
@@alexnunes i would try it but man that would take a long time.
NICEEEE!!!!
I'm a Marvel non-fan. I enjoyed seeing the review, and the building looks cool, but the subject matter means nothing to me.
Yep. Exactly my problem, i want it my town, for sure but is it worth 430£/500$ for that given the mf and accessories going ina box and the story means nothing

You're so unique and special
@@zeta_noir Don't forget smarter and more handsome.😗

also why not combine your Avengers tower with your own?
Good call. I think this is likely the scenario I will follow.

You're not alone on your opinion on the base. I hope to help improve this with my own modifications.
i think you should make a bottom for the avengers tower, like the one it has in the movies
amazing set but like we couldnt get dbl molded red boot print for Captain America's
You should put your avengers tower back in your city so that way you can have 2 like the sanctum sanctorum
How did you get the Tower before release date? Are you in LAN?
I kind of liked your moc a bit better, but if you're going to make a skyscraper with those pieces, why not make another tower from Marvel? Oscorp has a tower and so does Fisk? Might be fun.
You should make the old avengers tower look destroyed and like they built a new one across town
Not a bad idea!
I am just done building it :) for some reason i have sticker 48 left. I will have to go through the books again tomorrow. Also why the heck do those two black sticks come out at the bottom of the base street
Regardless? Not irregardless? Are you feeling well?
I saw an image of the minifigures for this set and thought it was a total hoax, so many figures!
This is what, the 3rd avenger's tower? It looks great and it's huge but I've only seen 2 or 3 Marvel movies so I have no clue about any of it.
Great set, expensive.
Disappointed that no Spiderman version's are on included. At lease they could've used one version of Spiderman.
I am so conflicted with this one, as now we get rumors of two other gwp along with the dedicated gwp… ugh…
My poor wallet...
I am more into Star Wars Lego but I have to say I bought the tower daily bugle
I’d just like to buy Kevin Feige’s hat but I don’t think we be able to.
The hat is pretty cool
This or the lion Knight castle???
Lion Knights castle!

Missing Bruce Banner
It needs to be about a foot taller
I agree. A lift kit is coming.
Simple complaints like u saying it’s too tight for you to place kinifigures for filming is super annoying.
