I mainly just want a Stan Lee, but I had an idea for a figure that would’ve made much more sense than Wong. I think this would’ve been the perfect place to introduce the Spider-Man homemade suit, since that was the suit used when he was stopping the Vulture from attacking the plane that just left the tower.
Who's missing imo; Bruce Banner/Doctor Banner, movie accurate Happy Hogan (the one we got is a joke), Pietro, Ultimate Ultron, Agent Coulson, Maria Hill, Antman (minifig), Iron Legion sentries (2 would be fine)
Coulson definitely should've been there. His "death" is what brought the Avengers together after their initial squabbling. Also Maria Hill and Bruce Banner. Banner's omission is really weird. They show moments like the party scene and restaurant scene with him missing in the images

The biggest difference between this and the Bugle for minifigs is that the DB exclusive minifigs were all superheroes (Firestar, Blade, Punisher, Daredevil, Black Cat), and the exclusive ones in the tower are just people (Selvig, Pierce, Dr. Cho). We should have got Banner and Coulson...and the taxi should have come with one of the Defenders (Luke Cage or Jessica Jones).
Selvig and Pierce use no new pieces. Cho, Feige, Vision, the Mark 6, Ultron, Wasp, Hawkeye and Falcon are all new and currently exclusive here If by exclusive you mean new and getting a figure for the first time. Then the list is shorter. But there’s not much else they could have done since they’ve been doing MCU sets for over a decade. Where the Bugle is able to tap into the comics which is much larger than the MCU and has had fewer sets. Also Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are not canon to the MCU.
@Ashnflash I like rhe set, it's just weird that we got Wong and Black Panther and Outriders. Your recommendations for different figs were better. The original SM homemade suit would have been amazing for the GWP (and then they could have dropped it in a set later in the year). Great video.
Jessica jones and Luke Cage (and iron fist) currently aren’t canon but it’s easy to see why people think they are with daredevil, kingpin and punisher being canon like we haven’t be told this yet but I’m sure when born again comes out we will at least have hints of his timeline in the mcu with probably seasons 1 and 2 of the show kind of happened with minor changes as that just the war on kingpin and punishers origin. if I had to guess the hand stuff will probably be removed or limited because it’s probably a safe bet that New York isn’t built on a dragon skeleton and the defenders didn’t need to form (or if they did it was a different issue and maybe a different line up) I think Jessica is next most likely to be crossed over because that show seemed to do well as for the other two hard to say I think both will probably be recast tho (Luke cage more likely to move over than iron fist). It’s a shame tho I would like to see a Netflix version of iron fist return in a Shang chi 2 were he shows up acting like top dog then instantly gets beaten and has to learn to be an actual good fighter whilst alongside Shang chi (Oh and as for figures changes or missing I think it would have been cool if Wanda had civilian clothes/pre avengers clothes because most the time she’s in the tower she doesn’t wear the red jacket that’s something she grabs from widows locker before leaving to stop the city from falling out the sky. Little thing I know but could have just made her stand out from other Wanda figures)
While I absolutely love the Tower set, I think it’s basically perfect, I also think adding things like Iron Legion bots, Bruce Banner and Quicksilver would make it the best Marvel set ever
Adding to the list is the cmf piece for falcon, it was such an amazing specialised piece that I thought would have been used for every falcon that came later.
Only thing I wish is that this was based on the comics rather than the MCU, like the Bugle. I really enjoyed customizing my Bugle with additional figures/minor build tweaks, and the figures already included in that gave me a great starting point. With this tower I wouldn't really want most of these figures as I would prefer to have the comic or cartoon variations of them, which would end up being an even more costly and tedious process than my Bugle was 😁 That being said, this is an amazing set and I hope those who get it enjoy it to the fullest!
If the Tower was comic based you’d be looking at a figure lineup closer to the Sanctum. There are no comic Avengers sets for them to bleed figures in from. That means all new pieces and prints. So much fewer characters and probably higher price
@@troublesomesheepyou can get the set and individually sell the figures cause I knew people love just getting exclusive figures and stuff. There isn’t many comic avengers though, so the tower will be quite empty unless you do some customs
I've been constantly curious as to why they excluded the bottom, but hearing their explanation clears it up. Btw, did Mark ever state/explain why Wong was included over other characters, or why they used the same face for Wasp and Potts?
And make it so that you can spin the center of the diorama around to recreate the iconic scene and to look at all of them. I'm not sure how they'd do it but they'd probably find a way.
I would have like it to have the option to be Stark tower or Avengers tower... I know that probably wouldn't have been feasible, but I'd happily spend $100-150 more for vertical slats and the Stark lettering.
While I do love this LEGO Avengers Tower set, I feel it would have been better if they included the following characters: Phil Coulson, Maria Hill, Bruce Banner, Brock Rumlow, Jasper Sitwell, 2 Iron Legion drones, Ant-Man as a minifigure, Quicksilver, Ultimate Ultron, Vulture, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange.
*My improvements on this set:* - The high price could be right if they did a lot more of fan service and accurate scenes like my plan below. - They got the license for the building under it, to make the tower more accurate and even bigger. - They use 2 baseplates instead of 1 for this set. They can use debris to make the scene even more iconic. - Wong, The Wasp, & Kevin Feige and other agents don't make sense at all. Don't include them in this set. - I agree that Agent Coulson, Maria Hill, 3x Iron Legion, Bruce Banner, Quicksilver, Happy Hogan & Stan Lee should be included. My floors/scenes: - Roof: Dr. Erik Selvig with his Tesseract machine including the tesseract within it (Avengers) - 8th floor: Bruce Banner's lab with the scepter and the mind stone (Avengers: Age of Ultron) - 7th floor: Iron Legion & their repairs (Avengers: Age of Ultron) - 6th floor: Lounge area with 2 scenes from Avengers: Age of Ultron - Those 2 scenes will be Vision's birth & the party from after obtaining the Scepter from the Hydra base. Vision's birth includes Wanda, Quicksilver & Vision, while the party includes Sam, Hill, Rhodes, Stan Lee, Helen Cho & Ultron Mk1. - On the outside also the Quinjet with Happy Hogan looking at it (Spider-Man: Homecoming) - 5th floor: Scene where Phil Coulson is holding the champagne with Pepper Potts (Avengers) - 4th floor: Closets for all Avengers (shirts for Quicksilver, arrows for Hawkeye etc, Avengers: Age of Ultron) - 3th floor: 2nd floor from this Marvel Tower, Captain America vs Captain America scene (Avengers: Endgame) - Building below is 1st & 2nd floor. 2nd floor is only stairs (Avengers: Endgame) - 1st floor: 1st floor from this Marvel Tower, the lobby (Avengers: Endgame) with Pierce, Tony disguised & Ant-Man Outside is the iconic scene with the original 6 Avengers in front of the building (Avengers). These characters can also be used in other parts of the building. There is also a much larger leviathan. This one is around 1/4th of the whole building. There are also 3 Chitauri carriots with Loki. I would rank this set now 6/10, I would never buy it but maybe get some of the minifigures seperately.
It does make sense for antman to be in the set though since he went to 2012 new york in endgame. And this is an mcu massive set so having kevin feige does make sense as a commemorative kind of figure. Ill give you the others, their reasons for being there arent the best but antman at the very least makes sense
It's time they bring battle packs to marvel especially for a set like this. Iron legion, Ultron sentry, or churti. Fill out the set if people want to pay for it.
Cool thing that comes from the avengers assemble cartoon (which for people who don’t know came out after the first movie and is adjacent to the mcu like it’s basically like a what if we’re the story starts after the events of the first movie but in a wider universe with x men fantastic 4 and other characters but uses designs and ideas from mcu. First few seasons are actually quite good) anyway in that we see all the avengers have there own room in the tower like thors is all gold and full of trophies for all his battles whilst banners is designed with hulk in mind so is padded and stuff. Like putting an idea like that in the set could have been cool but probably an issue with size of the set
I miss the stark tower balcony like it was there but i just like the scene when loki and thor were fighting and when hulk throws loki to the stark tower and smashes the floor with loki as a toy
Quicksilver is such a weird omission since we haven't had a minifig of him in such a long time it would make sense for him to be here. Bruce banner should be there too for the ultron creation scene with Tony
Some characters not mentioned I’d have liked to see Ant-Man (a full minifig) especially considering his inclusion in Rogers the Musical Professor Hulk. I know we already have 1 hulk big fig but since we got Tony, Cap, and Ant-Man from the endgame sequences it would have been nice to have. Party clothes for the core avengers from AOU, especially Thor using the Qui Gon Jin hair in dark tan
Any-Man was originally on my list. But he was tiny for all his scenes in the Tower. Idk about Hulk since he leaves to go the Sanctum and would be practically the same fig as we got. But yessss. I’ve needed the Qui Gon hair for Thor for so long 😭
2:04 I made a MOC of the overpass as soon as I got the quinjet from this year in June and realized that I had all of the pieces/road plates needed to build it. It took 10 hours to build it to be four road plates long with two by four road plates supporting it on the bottom. I am actively building New York City with Marvel sets, and am working on completing it with the modular sets, vehicles, and more. I have the daily bugle with the spider man lair underneath it, I am hoping to have the green Lego city train next to it as sort of a subway underneath the avengers tower. I have the the Spider-Man and the sanctum workshop next to that and am planning to have the sanctum sanctorum above that. I got six road plate sets to create the street, and even built a memorial for Chadwick Bozeman in front of where the Avengers tower will be. I have also collected almost all of the infinity saga sets, and put them all on a custom stand and positioned them in their positions in the Endgame final battle. Now that I’m writing this comment, I’m wondering if I should put the iron man hall of armor, iron man armory (avengers video game) and iron man armory (infinity saga) under the avengers tower instead of the subway. But I did have a plan for the subway where Blade (daily bugle) would be fighting Morbius (miles morales vs. Morbius) in one lane, and in the other, have black cat (daily bugle) riding the train and being chased by spider man (stealth big time) (spider man’s lair) recreating the boss battle from the spider man ps4 dlc The City that Never Sleeps (The Heist) any suggestions? And also are there any sets that I should add to my NYC? (Marvel Only) Edit: I’m guessing that the reason why Lego didn’t put all of the missed figures is for a full semi full scale helicarrier.
I remember having some olds sets like the OG avengers tower and the agent’s car. There was also a set wich i don’t really remember where there was like carnage and miles morales or something. I still have some pieces, i wich i had enough to rebuild them.
I'm hoping they make a modular comic book "street scene" not based on any specific iconic building, but with a couple of NYC locations (Nelson & Murdock building, a shop/deli, Peter Parker's apartment, some workshop/lair, a shawarma place...). Somewhere you can just stage a massive battle for comic heroes.

STARK and A logo changeable The vision birth machine A function that you could launch the cycles(set 76260) from the quinjet Quicksilver, Spiderman, That coffe girl, happy hogan (more homecoming accurate) and stan lee. I hope that the next MCU set in this style is an Avengers Compound, including so many more avengers we didn’t get here and depicting scenes from AOU, Ant-Man, Civil War, Homecoming, Infinity War, and Endgame. People are probably tired of Avengers Compound sets but I think none of them have really captured the unique architecture of that facility. I also would love a new Hellicariar along with the TriScellion for a Winter Solider themed set. But since that would mostly only depict scenes from one film I feel like it’s less likely to show up.
You remember when got that accessory pack where it came with Thor and a couple others? What if we got that but it gave us extra characters to give the characters that would have been nice for this set?
Is the Avengers Tower the same thing as Tony Stark’s Tower? I haven’t seen any of the Marvel movies, and haven’t read any comics since I was a kid in the 90s. I’ve picked up on some of the elements of the MCU just from references and pop culture, but it seems like there’s so much lore going over my head here haha
Why we're getting Wong, 4 Chitauri soldiers, 2 Captain America's and 2 Tony starks, is kinda bizarre. Like we couldn’t get, Coulson, Hill, Quicksilver, the better Ultron, or the horribly inaccurate Happy. Heck, even Brock Rumlow, or Sitwell would’ve made more sense than Wong. Also, what's with Black Widow's guns? Why does she have those grappling hook-gun pieces? Why didn’t they just give her regular guns?
I never got the chance to buy the age of ultron sets a couple of years back so I’m really happy he’s in this set but it’s only mark one plus it behind a huge pay wall, but to be honest I would pay $500 for the vision alone lol. I love the video bro, keep up the great work ❤️💕👌
I think including Spiderman home made suit, would have been a good choice, since I'm pretty sure the vulture tries to steal stuff from averagers tower. So it would have been worth adding
I think there are more than enough Spider-Man minifigs in circulation we really didn't need one in this. What I would have liked was a bigfig of Professor Hulk. I know he was never at the tower but I have wanted him for a while now. Preferably in the outfit he had in his taco scene with Scott Lang.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get a modular for the Avengers Compound as seen in Civil War/Endgame. Professor Hulk would fit so well with that.

I get the Grand Central Station issue but I feel like they could have added a one floor basic simplified version of the MetLife Building that would not have added too much to the piece count; put a little street overpass above that one story and have there the minifigures in the iconic Avengers circle shot 4D Cityscape did a 3D puzzle of Avengers Tower and had a stub of the Metlife Building below it with no Grand Central...there a ways to work around the Grand Central Station License issue that they could have explored

Id gladly have payed an extra $100 for a legit elevator with rumlow & sitwell so we could have that famous elevator scene. I dont think it would need to actually work with motorization, but maybe just a removable handle that lets you slide it up and down the back.
@Ashnflash yeah it is, but we don't have a full segment dedicated to banners expirements. We only see Dr. Chos small lab, and I think it should have been a bit bigger. In the movies, you see all sorts of machines and tech devices in the scene during the age of ultron.
Funny thing about briefcase - I believe licensing is the stopper here. The Marvel was actually sued by the company that have produced it when the Avengers (2012) came out, so they even completely abandoned the idea of an exclusive edition of Phase I BluRays that included this briefcase.
I would have liked Coulson and a full Ultron. I also think Maria Hill for sure Maybe they could have reduced the number of Chitauri and put them in a battle pack to go along with this set.
All these missing characters, and we got a Wong and a GWP with Black Panther who didn't feel like a missing character. Wish the GWP we got was a S.H.I.E.LD Jeep with Maria Hill and Bruce Banner or something instead.
Honestly, I think they could make a Lego Triskelion with Stealth Cap, Nat, Sam, Nick, Maria, Pierce, the Winter Solider, Rumlov and Sitwell, Sharon for 250 bucks or sth in the summer 2024 wave. It would be so cool and we could get some very interesting figures. We would need the elevator scene for sure, and maybe the Helicarrier docking area. I think this would be more likely than getting a Helicarrier as with a Helicarrier it would be so hard to capture the minifgure scale size but with the Triskelion I think it would be much easier. We could even get the Russo Brothers I guess.
man if i had money theres so many mods id make to this set and custom print/buy previous sets with missing minifigs (i.e. coulsin & maria hill). the size of this set nowhere near does justice to the mcu version and i think if i could id buy 2 of these and combine them. making this set wider could make for sm more room, making a larger landing area for the quinjet that came out earlier this year, making space for that landing bay where tony takes off his suit, and just adding sooo much more room for scenes like the party one in AoU or the hulk smash scene in the first avengers
I'm so upset that we didn't get an actual ant man fig. Excluding the bad one from 2019, we haven't gotten an actual ant man fig since 2018, yet we've gotten so many microfigs. Should've been an ant man minifig with a wasp microfig.
I have the fake "Hero Tower" set you used in the thumnail. I actually plan on modifying the real set by making it rest atop of the base of the fake set so the landing pad doesn't clip with the roof of the Daily Bugle, adds extra height, and makes it look better because the real set looks off without a base for the tower to rest atop of
...i really wished they had gone the same route they did with The Daily Bugle set...and put in some comic book-based characters...The Grim Reaper, Wonder Man, Radioactive Man, The Black Knight, etc...
Almost a perfect Marvel set but not including Ultimate Ultron definitely sucks especially since its such a rare figure and if you missed it in the past, you may pay upwards of $300 for a single minifigure.
Why would anyone complain about Quicksilver being included?? I wish he was so bad and him alone would’ve made me actually buy this set since he is my second favorite marvel character after Spider-Man and I wasn’t able to get the other figure of him when it came out
Mostly happy with the figures included. The only thing I really wanted was more age of ultron. For the movie that most prominently uses the tower, there's not a whole lot they put in to celebrate it. Loki's cell should've been swapped out for vision's birth and im otherwise fine with the rest of the building Remove wong. I don't understand why they put him here. Replace him with bruce banner, as he's another character that they can bleed in (i'd put him in a lab coat) The wasp in this set is a really cool figure but doesn't really fit here, and unlike wong she has several exclusive prints. I'd replace her with an ultimate ultron, as we haven't gotten that character in so long and he would be a perfect character to include The 2 unnamed shield agents do fit a scene but idk anyone that was excited to get them. Replace both of them and 1 chitauri with 3 iron legions. This one will be a stretch but replace pepper with quicksilver. We haven't gotten quicksilver in so long and it's weird that wanda is included but he isn't. Pepper is a good character to have but she's not important in any of the scenes and she's a character we've gotten a lot of. They would have to go from a reused character to a new print or 2, but I think it's worth it. Without increasing the minifigure count I feel this a vastly superior lineup that better matches the tower and includes more age of ultron Other omissions i'm bummed about are happy, maria hill, and coulson, but I feel like including them would drive the price up and i wouldn't know what to cut for them
@@Ashnflash yeah, but If I know lego, they would reuse a torso from a civilian figure for sure. Like Peers and Selvig. Same would happen to Bruce if they have included him (or reuse the one from the buster). I would really love to have purple shirt Banner (with lab coat, or without), such an iconic look for him.
In summary, Lego over-"bleeds", -"reuses", -"stuffs their minifigs. Overstuff meaning throwing in cheap figs just to say they have "31 minifigs!" I agree with 99% of your exclusions. Some of them being mindboggling that they weren't included. Enough to really dampen my excitement for the set overall. Wong being included legit just makes me mad. There are 8-10 slots in here that should've been something better.

I now understand why the wasp is in the set but I don’t understand why it’s the MCU version and not a true comic book adaptation of one of her countless uniforms they could have chosen from .. so many reasons why they could of done it In a set like this That something special is needed to help justify the price of a set Sometimes having a good one of a kind min figure in a set help push the buyers over that line Of do they want the set or not So far the only min figure that is astonishing is that vision

And make it so that you can spin the center of the diorama around to recreate the iconic scene and to look at all of them. I'm not sure how they'd do it but they'd probably find a way.
There are 6 members of the Avengers at that point. Ironman, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye.
I would have like it to have the option to be Stark tower or Avengers tower... I know that probably wouldn't have been feasible, but I'd happily spend $100-150 more for vertical slats and the Stark lettering.
While I do love this LEGO Avengers Tower set, I feel it would have been better if they included the following characters: Phil Coulson, Maria Hill, Bruce Banner, Brock Rumlow, Jasper Sitwell, 2 Iron Legion drones, Ant-Man as a minifigure, Quicksilver, Ultimate Ultron, Vulture, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange.
Imagine down the line we get an ultimate series avengers tower with the grand central station.

*My improvements on this set:*
- The high price could be right if they did a lot more of fan service and accurate scenes like my plan below.
- They got the license for the building under it, to make the tower more accurate and even bigger.
- They use 2 baseplates instead of 1 for this set. They can use debris to make the scene even more iconic.
- Wong, The Wasp, & Kevin Feige and other agents don't make sense at all. Don't include them in this set.
- I agree that Agent Coulson, Maria Hill, 3x Iron Legion, Bruce Banner, Quicksilver, Happy Hogan & Stan Lee should be included.
My floors/scenes:
- Roof: Dr. Erik Selvig with his Tesseract machine including the tesseract within it (Avengers)
- 8th floor: Bruce Banner's lab with the scepter and the mind stone (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- 7th floor: Iron Legion & their repairs (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- 6th floor: Lounge area with 2 scenes from Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Those 2 scenes will be Vision's birth & the party from after obtaining the Scepter from the Hydra base.
Vision's birth includes Wanda, Quicksilver & Vision, while the party includes Sam, Hill, Rhodes, Stan Lee, Helen Cho & Ultron Mk1.
- On the outside also the Quinjet with Happy Hogan looking at it (Spider-Man: Homecoming)
- 5th floor: Scene where Phil Coulson is holding the champagne with Pepper Potts (Avengers)
- 4th floor: Closets for all Avengers (shirts for Quicksilver, arrows for Hawkeye etc, Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- 3th floor: 2nd floor from this Marvel Tower, Captain America vs Captain America scene (Avengers: Endgame)
- Building below is 1st & 2nd floor. 2nd floor is only stairs (Avengers: Endgame)
- 1st floor: 1st floor from this Marvel Tower, the lobby (Avengers: Endgame) with Pierce, Tony disguised & Ant-Man
Outside is the iconic scene with the original 6 Avengers in front of the building (Avengers).
These characters can also be used in other parts of the building.
There is also a much larger leviathan. This one is around 1/4th of the whole building. There are also 3 Chitauri carriots with Loki.
I would rank this set now 6/10, I would never buy it but maybe get some of the minifigures seperately.
It does make sense for antman to be in the set though since he went to 2012 new york in endgame. And this is an mcu massive set so having kevin feige does make sense as a commemorative kind of figure. Ill give you the others, their reasons for being there arent the best but antman at the very least makes sense
It's time they bring battle packs to marvel especially for a set like this. Iron legion, Ultron sentry, or churti. Fill out the set if people want to pay for it.

Cool thing that comes from the avengers assemble cartoon (which for people who don’t know came out after the first movie and is adjacent to the mcu like it’s basically like a what if we’re the story starts after the events of the first movie but in a wider universe with x men fantastic 4 and other characters but uses designs and ideas from mcu. First few seasons are actually quite good) anyway in that we see all the avengers have there own room in the tower like thors is all gold and full of trophies for all his battles whilst banners is designed with hulk in mind so is padded and stuff. Like putting an idea like that in the set could have been cool but probably an issue with size of the set
I miss the stark tower balcony like it was there but i just like the scene when loki and thor were fighting and when hulk throws loki to the stark tower and smashes the floor with loki as a toy
Quicksilver is such a weird omission since we haven't had a minifig of him in such a long time it would make sense for him to be here. Bruce banner should be there too for the ultron creation scene with Tony
Some characters not mentioned I’d have liked to see
Ant-Man (a full minifig) especially considering his inclusion in Rogers the Musical
Professor Hulk. I know we already have 1 hulk big fig but since we got Tony, Cap, and Ant-Man from the endgame sequences it would have been nice to have.
Party clothes for the core avengers from AOU, especially Thor using the Qui Gon Jin hair in dark tan
Any-Man was originally on my list. But he was tiny for all his scenes in the Tower.
Idk about Hulk since he leaves to go the Sanctum and would be practically the same fig as we got.
But yessss. I’ve needed the Qui Gon hair for Thor for so long 😭
Not put quicksilver in was a missed opportunity. Maybe well get a new fig of him one day. :)

2:04 I made a MOC of the overpass as soon as I got the quinjet from this year in June and realized that I had all of the pieces/road plates needed to build it. It took 10 hours to build it to be four road plates long with two by four road plates supporting it on the bottom. I am actively building New York City with Marvel sets, and am working on completing it with the modular sets, vehicles, and more. I have the daily bugle with the spider man lair underneath it, I am hoping to have the green Lego city train next to it as sort of a subway underneath the avengers tower. I have the the Spider-Man and the sanctum workshop next to that and am planning to have the sanctum sanctorum above that. I got six road plate sets to create the street, and even built a memorial for Chadwick Bozeman in front of where the Avengers tower will be. I have also collected almost all of the infinity saga sets, and put them all on a custom stand and positioned them in their positions in the Endgame final battle. Now that I’m writing this comment, I’m wondering if I should put the iron man hall of armor, iron man armory (avengers video game) and iron man armory (infinity saga) under the avengers tower instead of the subway. But I did have a plan for the subway where Blade (daily bugle) would be fighting Morbius (miles morales vs. Morbius) in one lane, and in the other, have black cat (daily bugle) riding the train and being chased by spider man (stealth big time) (spider man’s lair) recreating the boss battle from the spider man ps4 dlc The City that Never Sleeps (The Heist) any suggestions? And also are there any sets that I should add to my NYC? (Marvel Only)
Edit: I’m guessing that the reason why Lego didn’t put all of the missed figures is for a full semi full scale helicarrier.

I'm hoping they make a modular comic book "street scene" not based on any specific iconic building, but with a couple of NYC locations (Nelson & Murdock building, a shop/deli, Peter Parker's apartment, some workshop/lair, a shawarma place...). Somewhere you can just stage a massive battle for comic heroes.

I hope that the next MCU set in this style is an Avengers Compound, including so many more avengers we didn’t get here and depicting scenes from AOU, Ant-Man, Civil War, Homecoming, Infinity War, and Endgame.
People are probably tired of Avengers Compound sets but I think none of them have really captured the unique architecture of that facility.
I also would love a new Hellicariar along with the TriScellion for a Winter Solider themed set. But since that would mostly only depict scenes from one film I feel like it’s less likely to show up.

I haven’t seen any of the Marvel movies, and haven’t read any comics since I was a kid in the 90s. I’ve picked up on some of the elements of the MCU just from references and pop culture, but it seems like there’s so much lore going over my head here haha

I think there are more than enough Spider-Man minifigs in circulation we really didn't need one in this. What I would have liked was a bigfig of Professor Hulk. I know he was never at the tower but I have wanted him for a while now. Preferably in the outfit he had in his taco scene with Scott Lang.

I think even if the station wasn’t included, the interior needed more space. So I would have liked the extra half baseplate of space.

I get the Grand Central Station issue but I feel like they could have added a one floor basic simplified version of the MetLife Building that would not have added too much to the piece count; put a little street overpass above that one story and have there the minifigures in the iconic Avengers circle shot
4D Cityscape did a 3D puzzle of Avengers Tower and had a stub of the Metlife Building below it with no Grand Central...there a ways to work around the Grand Central Station License issue that they could have explored

Id gladly have payed an extra $100 for a legit elevator with rumlow & sitwell so we could have that famous elevator scene. I dont think it would need to actually work with motorization, but maybe just a removable handle that lets you slide it up and down the back.

@Ashnflash yeah it is, but we don't have a full segment dedicated to banners expirements. We only see Dr. Chos small lab, and I think it should have been a bit bigger. In the movies, you see all sorts of machines and tech devices in the scene during the age of ultron.
Funny thing about briefcase - I believe licensing is the stopper here. The Marvel was actually sued by the company that have produced it when the Avengers (2012) came out, so they even completely abandoned the idea of an exclusive edition of Phase I BluRays that included this briefcase.

All these missing characters, and we got a Wong and a GWP with Black Panther who didn't feel like a missing character. Wish the GWP we got was a S.H.I.E.LD Jeep with Maria Hill and Bruce Banner or something instead.
Honestly, I think they could make a Lego Triskelion with Stealth Cap, Nat, Sam, Nick, Maria, Pierce, the Winter Solider, Rumlov and Sitwell, Sharon for 250 bucks or sth in the summer 2024 wave. It would be so cool and we could get some very interesting figures. We would need the elevator scene for sure, and maybe the Helicarrier docking area. I think this would be more likely than getting a Helicarrier as with a Helicarrier it would be so hard to capture the minifgure scale size but with the Triskelion I think it would be much easier. We could even get the Russo Brothers I guess.
A Stan Lee minifig. As much as I appreciate what Kevin Feige has done from Marvel, Stan is iconic.
I hope that we get sets in the future with Stan Lee parts scattered across a bunch of sets or characters.
man if i had money theres so many mods id make to this set and custom print/buy previous sets with missing minifigs (i.e. coulsin & maria hill). the size of this set nowhere near does justice to the mcu version and i think if i could id buy 2 of these and combine them. making this set wider could make for sm more room, making a larger landing area for the quinjet that came out earlier this year, making space for that landing bay where tony takes off his suit, and just adding sooo much more room for scenes like the party one in AoU or the hulk smash scene in the first avengers

I'm so upset that we didn't get an actual ant man fig. Excluding the bad one from 2019, we haven't gotten an actual ant man fig since 2018, yet we've gotten so many microfigs. Should've been an ant man minifig with a wasp microfig.
I have the fake "Hero Tower" set you used in the thumnail. I actually plan on modifying the real set by making it rest atop of the base of the fake set so the landing pad doesn't clip with the roof of the Daily Bugle, adds extra height, and makes it look better because the real set looks off without a base for the tower to rest atop of

Almost a perfect Marvel set but not including Ultimate Ultron definitely sucks especially since its such a rare figure and if you missed it in the past, you may pay upwards of $300 for a single minifigure.

Why would anyone complain about Quicksilver being included?? I wish he was so bad and him alone would’ve made me actually buy this set since he is my second favorite marvel character after Spider-Man and I wasn’t able to get the other figure of him when it came out
Mostly happy with the figures included. The only thing I really wanted was more age of ultron. For the movie that most prominently uses the tower, there's not a whole lot they put in to celebrate it. Loki's cell should've been swapped out for vision's birth and im otherwise fine with the rest of the building
Remove wong. I don't understand why they put him here. Replace him with bruce banner, as he's another character that they can bleed in (i'd put him in a lab coat)
The wasp in this set is a really cool figure but doesn't really fit here, and unlike wong she has several exclusive prints. I'd replace her with an ultimate ultron, as we haven't gotten that character in so long and he would be a perfect character to include
The 2 unnamed shield agents do fit a scene but idk anyone that was excited to get them. Replace both of them and 1 chitauri with 3 iron legions.
This one will be a stretch but replace pepper with quicksilver. We haven't gotten quicksilver in so long and it's weird that wanda is included but he isn't. Pepper is a good character to have but she's not important in any of the scenes and she's a character we've gotten a lot of. They would have to go from a reused character to a new print or 2, but I think it's worth it.
Without increasing the minifigure count I feel this a vastly superior lineup that better matches the tower and includes more age of ultron
Other omissions i'm bummed about are happy, maria hill, and coulson, but I feel like including them would drive the price up and i wouldn't know what to cut for them

Same would happen to Bruce if they have included him (or reuse the one from the buster). I would really love to have purple shirt Banner (with lab coat, or without), such an iconic look for him.

In summary, Lego over-"bleeds", -"reuses", -"stuffs their minifigs. Overstuff meaning throwing in cheap figs just to say they have "31 minifigs!" I agree with 99% of your exclusions. Some of them being mindboggling that they weren't included. Enough to really dampen my excitement for the set overall. Wong being included legit just makes me mad. There are 8-10 slots in here that should've been something better.
