Dude, great demo...covered everything I needed to know. Other videos just go showing off what they can play. I always wanted a white SG. I'm looking into that Muse.
Hell yeah! I don't usually go for the gold, it's too much usually, but this one is great. Ended up keeping it too, in spite of the flaw I mentioned. Its just so fun to play.
It’s kinda a let down that you received that guitar from Sweetwater, especially since they advertise that 55 point inspection....btw i have the Radio Blue Les Paul and I’m very satisfied with the Muse
Agree, and this one was inspected TWICE, to boot! But I ended up keeping it. Worked out a deal in my favor that was pretty decent. I wanted the red les paul muse, but already have 2 custom pros and couldn't justify another LP.
Hi!! Great review!!! I was wondering if you would recommend a epiphone sg muse to me? I’m still new to playing guitar I’ve been playing for 3 months and I play a cheap guitar and was looking for an upgrade around the $500 area. My options were either this or an epiphone Les Paul. What would you recommend me? Thank you!!!!
@@DUDESTUNESANDBREWS .. thanks ..Cool I have Black Custom Pro and Gold Top standard stock pick ups replaced with some vintage 1970’s Ibanez humbuckers , I am sold on Epiphones they play and sound as good any the Gibsons I have owned had to sell to play bills .. haha .. replacing with Epi’s ..
hi man, do you think this guitar is of the same quality as the epiphone sg standard? I'm going to buy a new sg and I'm between the epiphone muse and the standard
This Muse has the Alnico. My Custom Pro LPS both have ProBuckers. There is definitely a difference. The Probuckers are hotter IMO, they really sing. The Alnico have their own sound. I find i play on the neck pickup on the Muse a lot more, its got a great tone. The bridge on the Muse seems a little thin to my ear than the Probucker. But, the Alnicos are a fine pick up for this mid price guitar. The Pros are in the higher price Epiphones. I like them both. I don't plan on changing them anytime soon.
I wasn't using a pedal at this point. That's just the built in Gain channel of my Orange Crush 60 with some reverb. Orange has some nice dirt channels.
I love that the headstock is more like a Gibson, the to corners are not cut off

Thanks man! I agree, too many demos are just 10 mins of wanking. Glad you found this one helpful! I want a white one too...Cheers!
Love that so much I painted my cheap clone to look like that . I love the color
nice video... i got the purple passion sg and i am very satisfied. Pure Glam!

@@DUDESTUNESANDBREWS gold beeing to "usual" is exactly what my band said. But it still is glam, too. No worrys... :-D
Looking fly in that new swag!!! Sorry to hear about the finish on that guitar. She sure does sound perty!!!
She's fun to play too! It's growing on me.
They don’t come lefthanded, but I ordered one in purple restrung

Play a bunch. Find what you love. Don't go by looks alone.
Just ordered the Gold Top last night, my Fathers Day present ..lol can’t wait, sounds amazing !!!! Are those EPI Les Paul’s in back I see?
Congrats! Yep, 2 LPS. The white is a LP Custom Pro, and the other is the 100th Anniversary Les Paul Custom Pro. Love em all!

All SG's have that neck dive issue. Nice available tones though.
Not really, I've at least a handful of examples that balance perfectly. Including fadeds.
Hi! Thanks for this great review! 😊 Can you tell me what ampli are you using for this video please?
Thanks! I'm using my 60w Orange crush combo. 1x12.

I also buy Sweetwater and I bought the LP Muse.
Is the neck that sticky gloss? Thanks
They gloss. I never found it sticky tho.
Great vid great fun thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Alnico Classic VS Probuckers, what's is better?

Неколько дней назад я тоже хотел купить Epiphone SG Muse,но её теперь нигде больше нет(
Несколько месяцев предвкушения и вдруг такое..
In spite of the flaws it's a sweet guitar. I actually love it. Hopefully you find one!
@@DUDESTUNESANDBREWS недостатки поправимы :) думаю,что когда я её дождусь,то все мои Gibson отправятся на полку)

Gave this SG a face-lift!
