I have wery similar E39, purchased it in 2014, that car can’t stand any road salt so that’s why I haven’t used it as a daily in winter for a long time 😃
I've personally own e39 530i and I barely can imagine a better car in that price, it's phenomenal, the ride quality, the power, connection to the car, overall it's just fantastic. It has it's problems tho and it's not cheap to repair, but if anyone is wondering to buy that car i highly recommend it. Just make sure after the test drive, that the engine is not heavily leaking, but check that it's oil indeed, not a coolant which e39 are known to loose through the cooling pipes connections. Rapid gas pedal pressing from top to the floor and gear changes should happen smooth as well, mine didn't and it turned out that dual-mass flywheel is making it's way to the grave ;)

I got an all units I can’t see nothing in the Cabin at night as Speedo cluster and radios lights don’t light up so the screens work and the Speedo and warning lights in cluster is it a fuse or it the the bulb 💡 can anyone help
hmm does the speedo still reads rpm and speed correctly? if it is, its probably bulb
@@BuiltbyApes Yh still reads speed mate and yh I was thinking it might just been bulb in speedo but the radio buttons not lighting up too so was thinking maybe and fuse

@@BuiltbyApes im buying in 2 days the 523 1997 with some decent rims.. but what are the inconvenient of this car? I took it to a garage and he said it’s super clean from inside.. and any suggestions for mods on budget ? 😇 I’m lebanese btw and I’m getting it for 2400$ it has a dent from the front and from the left
@@jadsekrendaj868 if you are going for looks, lowering springs always comes first for me (after I make sure that the suspension, arms, bushings, etc are at least in decent conditions).
After springs, then wheels and tires combo.
Then maybe smaller diameter steering wheels, like Momo Prototipo.
I wont bother messing with the engine if I wanna daily it, they got more than enough power for daily driving. Just make sure its serviced routinely.

Hemmm... the e39 on any trim is not the most economical car out there. So dont drive it with heavy foot if u wanna save some gas money.
What else... idk man e39 is just that good its difficult to find flaws 😆

Are you sure this car is titanium silver? this looks like arctic silver. afaik titanium silver did not arrive until 2000 or 2001 model year
Positively sure its Titan silver. Well we are based in Indonesia so maybe there are differences in regions?
