But you skipped that part Apple still selling their phone on the 2017 price (6" iPhone X was $999 in 2017, and 6" iPhone 15 Pro still $999 in 2024..) but check the Samsug price, it was $749 before 120Hz and 5G, and now it's $1199-1299, but they put about the same year to year improvements inside the phone, or do you think just a 200MP camera lens and 4GB extra RAM cost about $500? Because they raised the price with that amount while Apple still not changed their price..
So you will definitly pay more again, since they raised their price in multiple years in the past 8 years, but basically for the same improvements what Apple didn't charged with extra pricing...
I will consider switching when the iPhone 17 comes out as it'll have some worthwhile features. And I'm an android user. It'll be between Apple and Google with their new chipset for the pro model. Till then enjoy what you have unless it really needs replacing ofc.

Don't listen to him because samsung has been working on AI for a while now. They also develop AI chips, and work with Google as well so some of the AI features are from samsung. I have the AI features on my tab s8 ultra and some are on device

On the newer devices a specific model will be on the device that has the majority of Siri commands that are done on the device. In the case of a sports score or stock price it will go out to Apple's private web. Also Apple rewrote the conversational ability of Siri which resides in the various OSes.
Apple does not have your information (unlike Google). If a person asks a particularly detailed and complex question, then it tells users that Chat GPT has a good response and would they like see it. Chat GPT doesn't get personal data, just the request in simplified form and the user chooses to view the response or not.
This is orders of magnitude more complex than what Samsung has with Google. Apple is multi-model and multi-modal. And the majority of times will be processed on device. For Chinese language users Apple will be partnering with Baidu.

In fact on their current Ultra to try and get close to Apple A series chips, they buy chips from Qualcomm. It seems like Samsung has more AI tricks. Like call Translate now. I use that alot and And the translate app inside WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. But I am anxious to see the camera improvements for the iPhone with the new A. I.

That is why I am still using iphone 12. Never upgraded to 13, 14, and even 15.
Apple is more secured then android. Otherwise, apple can not win from android in terms of features. All these features are very old which apple is trying bring today.
I was originally android then switched to iPhone for the 5s... up until the 15... Honestly android can do so much more, but honestly it's beyond unnecessary for 85% of people.. otherwise it's unnecessarily complicated, non user friendly, etc...
the only reason I switched because the 15 camera is horrible compared to previous iPhones, so I am not with Pixel 8 Pro and although the camera is amazing, I miss everything else about iPhone .. just an honest review, coming from a guy who dislikes Apple as a company, but can't deny it's the better option

The new AI features, which are Apple's own SLM onboard the phone for crazy fast responses. Those will also be on the 16 regular models too. It has to do with the processor. Where the phone doesn't support the new stuff is on iPhone 15 regular models. Since the 16 doesn't exist until September, Apple didn't talk about it yesterday.

Samsung does not use AI on device. Apple intelligence and samsungs AI its not the same. Apple uses most on device for security. So probably the 13 pro dont have the AI chips for it
