S24 ultra did great for being 9 months older than the 16pro max, and being that the 16pro max chip is a 3nm, which should be faster than the 8 gen 3, which is a 4nm chip.the smoothness when scrolling was much better and smother on the s24 ultra. Animation to me doesn't mean a thing to me. I turn off all animations on my phone, which makes it much snappier than with it on. Let's see how the 16pro max will do against the s25 ultra when it has the 3nm snapdragon gen4😮

I just went to the Apple store today, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max seemed very boring to me. The colors looked really bland. I thought the desert titanium was going to look better, but it was really underwhelming in person. The only thing I liked about it was its copperish looking titanium. Overall, the desert titanium looked more like a feminine color to me. Idk what it was, but the iPhone 16 Pro Max just felt cheap to me. I compared it to my S24 Ultra, and the S24 Ultra just felt and looked more premium. The titanium gray on the S24 Ultra just looks more shiny, with a goldish color depending on the angle you look at it in the light. The iPhone's natural titanium just seemed bland. The screen on the S24 Ultra just seemed, crisper, and vivid to me. The anti reflective screen on the S24 Ultra made me screen look more beautiful than the iPhone. The camera button seemed like a gimmick to me. I got really bored of it really fast. Overall, I'm not impressed. The normal Iphone 16 colors looked better than the 16 Pros in person. The titanium on the 15 Pro looked better than the 16 in my opinion. Overall I'm going to miss the titanium blue iPhone 15 Pro Max. That one was my favorite one.
Samsung makes the screens for both phones. Samsung prefers high contrast colors when calibrating their screens. Apple prefers natural colors but you can change the color filters through settings.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Samsung S24 Ultra. I usually use the iPhone for gaming and for cinematic videos. I know the S24 Ultra has 8K, but I still notice better quality videos on the iPhone with only 4K. The sound is definitely a huge selling point for the iPhone, but the S24 Ultra sounds pretty good as well. In terms of connectivity, I prefer the S24 Ultra. It has a better Wi-Fi band and better reception antenna. You will notice a huge difference if your Wi-Fi signal is low. On the iPhone, you will struggle to use the internet, but on the S24 Ultra, you will have decent speeds. The S24 Ultra has outstanding AI features, while the iPhone has some, but only in beta versions limited to the US and is not as user-friendly as on the S24 Ultra. In terms of photos, the S24 Ultra is better, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not bad. It is actually better if you set your camera to automatic. On the Samsung, you need to choose manually between 50, 100, or 200 MP, but the automatic setting is 12 MP. So, there is a difference if you just take a photo by taking your phone out of your pocket. Amaizing devices and I'm sure the new iphone is more advanced that 15 pro max but I can't afford another phone so expensive, I better buy a new car with a little more financial effort. 😂😂😂

Comparing top tier phones is like comparing if a 1500hp GTR can beat another 1800hp. I mean sure something will be faster, but who can use that much on the streets unless you're in drag. (as for me, I'm sticking with whatever has the useful spen and Dex that I turn into a pc with just a keyboard and smart tv.)
Being able to scroll farther is not “down to optimisation,” it is just a setting (which is not accessible to us) for scrolling sensitivity. The OpenAI test is also useless, since the performance is not due to the phone, but due to a server queue. The LLMs obviously don’t run locally. There is NO AI performance test here. Some accuracy on the actual content of elementary tests would be appreciated. Heavy lifting like rendering videos (which is done locally on the CPU/GPU) and keeping apps open are actual tests which relate to real world use, as is gaming.

I bought the 16 Pro Max today and its fantastic i sell my s24 ultra because of i frustrated of heating issue on s24 ultra. Switch back to iPhone and i have no issues better performance not heating up while basic use

1) The scrolling speed is down to individual settings. You are able to change how quickly it scrolls in the settings of each phone, it's not down to 'optimization'.
2) ChatGPT is cloud-based. It's doing no processing on the phone, so that test is irrelevant for this case. Siri/Apple Intelligence vs. Google Assistant/Gemini is a better test.

S24 ultra did great for being 9 months older than the 16pro max, and being that the 16pro max chip is a 3nm, which should be faster than the 8 gen 3, which is a 4nm chip.the smoothness when scrolling was much better and smother on the s24 ultra. Animation to me doesn't mean a thing to me. I turn off all animations on my phone, which makes it much snappier than with it on. I just went to the Apple store today, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max seemed very boring to me. The colors looked really bland. I thought the desert titanium was going to look better, but it was really underwhelming in person. The only thing I liked about it was its copperish looking titanium. Overall, the desert titanium looked more like a feminine color to me.
Idk what it was, but the iPhone 16 Pro Max just felt cheap to me. I compared it to my S24 Ultra, and the S24 Ultra just felt and looked more premium. The titanium gray on the S24 Ultra just looks more shiny, with a goldish color depending on the angle you look at it in the light. The iPhone's natural titanium just seemed bland. The screen on the S24 Ultra just seemed, crisper, and vivid to me. The anti reflective screen on the S24 Ultra made me screen look more beautiful than the iPhone.
The camera button seemed like a gimmick to me. I got really bored of it really fast. Overall, I'm not impressed. The normal Iphone 16 colors looked better than the 16 Pros in person. The titanium on the 15 Pro looked better than the 16 in my opinion. Overall I'm going to miss the titanium blue iPhone 15 Pro Max. That one was my favorite one.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max and a Samsung S24 Ultra. I usually use the iPhone for gaming and for cinematic videos. I know the S24 Ultra has 8K, but I still notice better quality videos on the iPhone with only 4K. The sound is definitely a huge selling point for the iPhone, but the S24 Ultra sounds pretty good as well. In terms of connectivity, I prefer the S24 Ultra. It has a better Wi-Fi band and better reception antenna. You will notice a huge difference if your Wi-Fi signal is low. On the iPhone, you will struggle to use the internet, but on the S24 Ultra, you will have decent speeds.
The S24 Ultra has outstanding AI features, while the iPhone has some, but only in beta versions limited to the US and is not as user-friendly as on the S24 Ultra. In terms of photos, the S24 Ultra is better, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not bad. It is actually better if you set your camera to automatic. On the Samsung, you need to choose manually between 50, 100, or 200 MP, but the automatic setting is 12 MP. So, there is a difference if you just take a photo by taking your phone out of your pocket. Amaizing devices and I'm sure the new iphone is more advanced that 15 pro max but I can't afford another phone so expensive, I better buy a new car with a little more financial effort. 😂😂😂

Being able to scroll farther is not “down to optimisation,” it is just a setting (which is not accessible to us) for scrolling sensitivity. The OpenAI test is also useless, since the performance is not due to the phone, but due to a server queue. The LLMs obviously don’t run locally. There is NO AI performance test here. Some accuracy on the actual content of elementary tests would be appreciated. This is the first iteration for iOS 18 with many features and optimizations to wait for this Fall whereas the Android Counterparts be it Pixel or Samsung are still running older Android 14 instead of Android 15 because they couldn’t get it done on time…..If iPhone 16 Series could run iOS 17.7 then the Applications would perform even better because it is more stable older version of iOS unlike Androids

It's not really about graphic rendering, it's about app optimisation. Adobe Rush is poorly optimised for 8 Gen 3, in most of the other editing apps 8 Gen 3 thrashed the A17 Pro😅
