Hey guys - I’ve also been posting a LOT on Instagram, and staying connected with you all. I want to do better with this, and interact with you guys more frequently! You can follow me by clicking the link in the description. It would mean a lot to see you over there as well! Hope you enjoyed this one! ❤
That reflection difference is crazyy. Samsung nailed it
It’s huge man
The S25 is coming out in January!
Yup! Sometime Jan or Feb. so excited to see what they’ve done!
OMG BREAKING NEWS
Nah 😂@@stanleysanchez2898
26 the year after lol why do people waste money on a phone each year with slight new features etc
With thinner bezels, faster SOC and satellite connectivity 😂. iPhone already has that. What are they going to sell to you? The Spen that’s been around for well over a decade that nobody uses, but it keeps getting mentioned as a big feature simply because iPhone doesn’t have? On top of all that, iPhone 17 comes out in September 2025! See what I did there?
Another great video you produced. I've been a iPhone user since the 4S and still had been using my 13 pro Max which is still in mint condition where is 89% battery health. I purchased the Samsung s24 ultra on launch date and absolutely love it was curious with the 16 pro Max coming out so pre-ordered one kept it for a week and for me personally didn't see a lot of difference from my 13 pro Max and sent it back yesterday. I'm not a content producer just use the 24 ultra for texting social media watching RUclips etc and it does make greatly. Keep up producing the great videos you do I watch everyone, Eddie from Kentucky USA
Honestly, I don’t blame you. Unless there’s a specific reason in which the iPhone is important to you, I believe there’s so much better, including the S24 Ultra.
Thanks for the kind words Eddie :) glad you’re enjoying your Samsung :)
S24 ultra is the ultimate choice
Display, multi tasking, call recording, s pen, Ai features,
Louder & clear sound, desk mode,
Photo editor Ai , ultra sonic ( fg) lock, & tonnes of features that ios
Cannot imagine.
@@MdsajeedThekiya-qk6tv yep 👌
Commenting this as if iOS doesn't have something to provide on the table? I'm S24 Ultra user, but don't be too much.
I chose both.
It’s okay to own a couple of flagships today.
iOS+Android= ❤
You’re not wrong 🙌
same! best of both worlds but i use iphone more cuz i have been on ios for ages so im used to it more and a lot of my data is in icloud
@@KayBearYT same here.
I use my Intel iMac’s with Bootcamp/Windows with the Galaxy
And the iPhones with my M1MAX MacBook Pro and the others.
It is best of both worlds.
I’m really happy with both.
Utilization. Plus I like tech.
same. S24 Ultra for personal, 16 Pro Max for work. Both have their advantages over the other, but overall both are great.
Personally, I don’t think having 2 flagship top of the line phones for what I am guessing are just everyday tasks is worth it but you must be hella rich or wasting your money on unnecessary royalties.
Apple is so boring and new IPhone 16 have no Apple Intelligence they pre-sold a feature we can’t even use. Bring on the new King Samsung
im i the only one who does not care abt camera?
cuz dam if u need rly good camera jus get an actual camera, i need performance and productivity
And if you want performance and productivity, get a computer.
See how idiotic your statement is?
Real
Except the iphone is on par or better than an actual camera lmao
@@MuchoBurritoHD with smart phones now (especially flagships) to buy a camera that is just a good or better it will cost at least 800+
If you want to get performance and productivity, use a computer.
I'm a samsung fan, but I'm willing to try the phone 16 pro for 6 months to see if I'll get use to it. Its coming in a few days
Let me know how you like it, always curious to see what people think when they switch over. It allows me to stay in touch with what you guys actually care heavily about 🙌
@@valismind I will in a few weeks

iPhone staying at 100% doesn't mean it has not standby drain, everyone should know by now that it drops from 100% slower than Samsung. But the battery is still drained. From 80% it would have dropped significantly.
Yep. If i charge my iphone to a 100% the battery drain is minimal but when it gets down to 80%, it drains very fast.
The s24 ultra is no doubt the best outdoors display of all time in bright daylight it's brilliant
But yet this video clearly shows different. I know you see it! That’s why you made this post!😂😂😂
@Aggie4life77 for me the iphone is too boring, no multi tasking and closed OS is a deal breaker for me also no stylus support I need those things
@@morm2173you just said “best outdoors display in bright daylight” then when called out on how much better the iPhone was outdoors in terms of the brightness you went into bringing up things that have nothing to do with “outdoor brightness” 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Make it make sense when trying to make a statement especially when saying “no doubt” in that same sentence
DEX is fantastic. Not sure you mentioned that.
Watching this on my galaxy s24 ultra,, galaxy s24 ultra over any device out 💯👑
Both are good. I like the risks Samsug is taking to diversify its phone portfolio.I still think the ecosystem is better for Apple. The AirPods pros for me running and working out are perfect.
Really tried to appreciate the anti reflective screen on the s24u but just couldn't bring myself to use it without a screen protector.
Try taking photos with the latest September update.
What's the September update?
Why is the Samsung display so dim ? In real life there’s no way it looks that dark in the sunlight. I own one and it’s much brighter than what the video depicts.
Same thing I saying this person like he did that purposely to bring down the S24 like if other ppl don't have both phones..he make it so obvious that anyone can recognise that the S24 screen is dim
Hey, I love Samsung. Met the people at Samsung Canada. In no way would I make the phone more dim on purpose, that is absurd. They were both at their max brightness.
They both looked brighter in person. But the iPhone stood out vs. The two.
갤럭시는 Adaptive brightness 옵션을 켜야 최대로 밝아집니다. 강한 빛이 비칠 때는 다른 옵션이 아닌 저 옵션일 때 최대 밝기를 보입니다.
I wanted to buy new iPhone but this phone design is similar to last 2 years.i would prefer OnePlus 12 but that device camera are really bad.left with s24 ultra option but new generation will come in 3,4 months so i should wait.
Yeah unfortunately it is similar which is something Samsung is also doing too with the way their S24, S23 and S22 all look
OOOHH another Honest review!!
I think brightness of galaxy is reduced in this this video 😅😅😅
Hey! It’s on max, but thank you.
Same thing i am saying: my wife have the I phone 16 and I have the S24 and my phone is brighter when both phones are on the maximum brightness
In your video it look soo dull to the iPhone something is not right with that S24
5:35 As mush as I searched Iphone never used UFS. It has been NVMe. Can I know the source on what kind of storage Iphone 16 uses?
It still uses TLC NVME.
Watching a video from Vali after a long time...
Been here since the beginning.. Happy to see you will reach 50k...
Yes! I remember, you’ve been here forever and than you for that 🙌🙌🙌

Best for personal use: S24, simply because of the best hardware. The screen outdoors 🤯
Best for business: 16 Pro Max, simply because of the software/ecosystem.
(I’ve recently switched to Android/PC and back again to Apple)
Interesting! What made you switch?
@@valismind
Thank you for your interest!
My company always used Google Workspace. So I thought if I would switch to Android/Windows things would be less expensive and maybe more integrated.
I bought a Fold5 (black, 512GB) and a Dell business laptop with 5G (can’t remember the model) and after a few months I came to the conclusion I really missed Keychain, Calendar, Notes, Reminders and FreeForm. I had harder time to track tasks and sometimes I just forgot because Google Apps don’t work the same way (time and geographically notifications). I started to do more app subscriptions in order to simplifying the work processes that would work on Android and Windows. Android/Windows became more and more expensive and when I wanted to implement something in a desktop app that is on my phone it took a lot of steps to do so. Often it didn’t work on the go so would upload something and download it on the Windows laptop.
Apple is so consistent and made for stupid people like me. For example: just copy on any device and paste on any device. There are many more examples.
Right now I’m running my old trusty MacBook M1, a new iPhone 15 Pro and the iPad Pro M4. Took me only a few hours to set up and it just works flawlessly together. Did I already mention battery life 🤯. For storage needs I bought a Synology Server which works flawlessly with Apple.
Right now I only miss one thing “from the other side” and that is Google Sites. There is nothing like it. (please don’t say Sharepoint 🤢)
If you want more specific information I’m happy to answer!
For me, my main pc is a chromebook (im a light ish user) so having notifications and messaging on my chromeboook is super convenient. Also i use samaung dex for a living room pc which is really hard for me to replace anx wish mire manufacturers would add a desktop mode on there phones
Wow I've been waiting for this man. You're the best👌
Much love thank you for the support 🙏
Choose wisely simple iphone 16 totally the same with iphone 15 ! That is honestly truth!
Yeah, at the end of the day I don’t think the average person would benefit or appreciate the 16 Pro anymore over the 15 Pro.
Like the S24 and S23?
@@valismindthe average person will go from a 12 to a 16 Pro not 15-16.
I recently (Late august) picked up the S24 Ultra. I also have the 14 pro max. I will upgrade to the 16 pro max later this year. I am fortunate to be able to afford both phones. I used to be a HUGE android fanboy (this s24 is my 8th samsung phone, the 14 pro max is my 3rd apple phone) but switched to Apple in 2023. I still like android which is why I have the ultra since both devices serve a purpose for me but I much prefer the apple device.
I recently switched back to the iphone 15 plus from a s23 ultra. I really love the s23 ultra but I really hate the inconsistencies it gave me in social media apps and battery life but would totally reconsider if the s24 or the upcoming s25 ultra be more optimized in most social media apps
Valid reason, I’m hoping this is an area in which Samsung and other android oems continue to push their focus. I can see android dominating.
@@valismind I agree since for example the pixel 9 was already improving in that department but I still am conscious in buying one since after sales support here in my country is non existent ( philippines )
Yeah that is definitely a reason to be cautious. After sales support is very important if you plan to keep it for an extended number of years.
having to wait until march of next year for ai is crazy. by that time the 17 is almost out
That’s why I kept my iPhone 13 Pro for one more and just changed the battery instead.
Yes, and it sure as hell better deliver 😡 I am tired of my phone not knowing anything I am saying when I'm voice dictating !
Forget s25 Ultra, waiting for iPhone 17 Pro Max
wait for iphone 19 or 20
I think you should wait for iPhone 20 pro max BCS I don't see anything big change in iPhone 17 pro max
Samsung s24 series also 4k 120fps
Yup, but it takes a severe quality loss. It isn’t worth using to be completely honest.
@@valismind it ignores OIS on S24U in pro mode for some reason. 16 pro max has it 4k120 with OIS. Game changer for home movies creation
Yup. Is also better in low light which is important when shooting at a higher shutter speed needed for slo mo.
I use both iphone and a cheaper android phone and tab. I love the features and customisations from using android while I only use the iphone for status, beyond that nah it’s a boring phone.
SHEEEEESH VIDEO IS POPPPPPING OFFFFFFFFFFF!!! I really miss my S24 Ultra loaner unit I need to ask for it BACK!!! And no wonder I thought the 16 had more birghtness than my 15 😂AND YES THE TOUCH ISSUES ARE ANNYOIGN AF!!! Thank the lords that the iPhone has bettery battery life now cuz the 15 was SHIT! Amazing video and let's hope this pops off past 100k!!! 😃
LMFAOOO thanks brother 🙌🙌 when the FE comes in, we should try to do some content around it together!
The S24 Ultra is just better, so here in Portugal, you can get an s24u with 256GB with a discount around 999€ and the 16 Pro Max for 1499€. There's nothing in this world that convinces me that the iPhone is better for the price, because it's not. The funny thing to me is that Samsung is cheaper and gives you more for less. The antiglare display, the s-pen, the 100x, the amazing performance and battery life, versatile and crazy good cameras for photo and video, the 7 years of software updates, the titanium build, even triple A gaming with emulation, no need to use an iPhone for that. And 500€ euros cheaper ? That's just a steal man. No sacrifices
calling, camera, instagram, snapchat, email and browsing. that is the only use of a phone for 90% of the population then why so much fuss.. pick according to your pocket, if you need to finance it then you should not buy it.. simple...£ 1299 drops in value the moment you swipe your card always remember with no potential of it ever going up..unless you use it to make more than £ 1299 or atleast breakeven what is the point to finance it.
I know you have brightened an iPhone screen and use less brightness for S24 ultra screen. My S24 ultra is way much brighter than what you're showing on this video.. i get no problem seeing the screen of S24 ultra, even outside on a bright sunny day where, with an iPhone, i struggle with seeing the screen properly for iPhone 15 pro max. I don't believe this 😅😅😅 apple is just overrated phone
Yeah I will go out my way to mislead people and make one phone which I made a negatively charged review about already look better.
No the iPhone was consistently brighter outdoors both max brightness both very legible. I think in a lot of conditions despite the brightness the Samsung was more visible due to anti reflective coating.
@@valismindI don't think you have adaptive brightness turned off, which is why your s24 screen is so dark. You need to follow these steps:
Navigate to Settings, and then tap Display.
Make sure the switch next to Adaptive brightness is turned off.
Note: The Extra brightness feature only appears when Adaptive brightness is disabled.
Once it’s displayed, tap the switch next to Extra brightness to turn it on. Now your screen will glow brighter!
Even with this feature enabled, you can still adjust the brightness from the Display settings page or from the Quick settings panel.
In this video the S24 screen is dim anyone with a brain could see or notice this. .u didn't had to dim it so much because ppl would of actually believe u are not being bias
It's a fair video. In all honesty I bought the iphone 16 pro max on day one the bezels yet thinner I couldn't separate it from 15 pro max. The camera button is an acquired test. The camera is better but can't be separated from 15 pro max again.
Great device if you are coming from the 12 pro devices or android if you like some customization.
Planning to buy a new phone and choosing between the iPhone and Samsung, will definitely go for iPhone since I want to do videos for social media. 😁
It really comes down to personal choice, both phones are fantastic, but the iPhone had one tiny bug.
I love both iOS and Android, but Samsung is simply in another level of existence than iOS. Once Apple innovates and comes out with Folding and Flipping phones, then they can compare. Right now it ain’t even close.
Wow finally a honest objective review analysis. No Samsung bias on this ☝️ ; keep it up I might subscribe to channel, but definitely gave you a like~~😅
I am really considering an android phone Google’s Pixel 9 Pro as my secondary device but my iPhone will always be my primary
S24ultra all the way lets not forget the one ui 6.1.1 update has made this phone unbelievable and does not overheat at all playing AAA games 😊 Lets not forget iphone can't split screen, doesn't have dex, doesn't have a s-pen and no multi tasking so iphone 👎 O and the dynamic island is ugly and in the way of consuming content and playing games.
You sure ? People saying it still overheats
Nobody cares about dex, s pen who tf cares about that 2012 gimmick anymore
@imnoman4205 my s24ultra doesn't over heat not one bit swear it reaches 45c to 46c because of the AAA games not being optimized but it drops back down 43c,42c,41c,40c,39c it's supposed to reach 42c 43c it's normal Honestly.
@@officialdon_julio 42 is hot dude, what you mean?
@emperornephew6487 it's hot to the touch and that's normal for AAA titles on a smartphone trust me do ya history.
Being in a rural area with poor coverage, I would like to know which phone is best for phone calls. Thanks
The anti reflective screen is a game changer move from samsung.. still amazes me away
What gives you more value for a dollar - this question should resolve this instantly, of course Android.
Touch issue is not there in my phone
in the end. real reason for using iphone is for the OS and interface.
im using both have my s22 ultra and iphone 15 pro max.
If your a android user your a android user why are these pathetic vs videos still being made like wise if your a apple user no Samsung is going to temp you
Here we go… 🙄
People find value in this type of content for comparative sake. It helps people make decisions. This is also my job I can’t just make content on one phone for the rest of my life loool
@@valismind that’s my point your video is fine but most people are invested in one operating system so why not S24 v pixel 9 pro
They do all comparative videos with all phones. Personally I like these because im tired of Apple and want to see android before buying one again.
Very valid. I never noticed my bias to comparing them against each other.
I just figure both devices are the hottest, from the 2 major brands in North America so there’s some buzz around them. I’ll keep this in mind and compare other devices when I have the chance. 🙌
Some of us love both. But my love for Android always wins out in the end. Still i use an iPhone for a month or two occasionally just to be sure I'm not missing out. But I haven't had anything newer than the 13 pro max. No physical sim tray sucks.
A brand new S24U would give you more battery boosts
Don't go for s24 ultra after update you will get sucks

It's crazy that Valis blocked me on Twitter for criticising him of the same thing he's now doing. Which is offer a fair compare and contrast criticism between Apple products and WINDOWS AND ANDROID
What are you talking about
For value and productivity, the S24 Ultra is the clear winner. The S-Pen and its AI features give it a big advantage over the iPhone. But when it comes to trade-in retained value, the iPhone is the better choice.😂
LOL I mean, that’s fair.
More and more i can see clearly the iphone is a very boring piece of tech. what a boring year for technology. The samsung S10 tablet is another one too. At this point they'll just sell anything because we'll buy it
We’re at the point right now where performance is king, and everyone is in a race for AI. Design and innovation is being left behind.
Great video. Did you notice any heating issues with the S24 Ultra, when using the camera? This seems to be a common problem, yet many tech RUclipsrs fail to mention.
I have the phone and it has 0 issues with heating at all. I can play wuthering waves for a hour with no heat
You should make an in depth review of camera performance in social media between these and the upcoming s25 ultra as well
I’ll include it in the camera review
Great comparison! It is a common question about which phine should someone get. 🐌🐌🐌

Spigen hands down that’s what’s on my phone

I used Android since the first Android phone came out, then switched to iPhone last 2017, for 7 years of using iPhone, I got tired of 5 year old technologies and less flexibility in iOS.... I just switched back to Android a month ago, and I couldn't be much happier.
For post. It’s going in the other direction buddy. This would have been true 7 years ago, but switching back today doesn’t even make much sense. Most people don’t even customize their phone like that anymore. They just add a couple widgets and call it a day. Nobody switching to Android in 2024 and beyond for custom theme packs lol! Don’t believe me? Look at all your friends with Android phones. It’s set up basic as heck😂😂😂
@@Aggie4life77 I don't customize my home screen either. I work in the tech field and Android phones works better with Windows computers. And besides, I can fold my Android phone, try convincing me again once you can fold your iPhone. 🤣🤣🤣
Honestly 24 is last years phone.
16 goes against 25.
And still with time to prepare they always underperform, needed thousands of GB of RAM to do what iPhone does with just 4-6-8.
24 came out in Feb, iPhone came out last week. Both released in 2024.
You could say the same thing about the iPhone 15PM vs. The S24 Ultra and say I’m being unfair to that phone.
These are the devices that should be going head to head, they came out in the same year.
@@valismind technically yes, but they design 25 trying to beat 16, just like Apple designed 16 trying to go on top of 24.
Ive been on Samsung for almost 12 years and im actually thinking of going to iphone now.
I was in a similar boat to you, I switched over to the iPhone in the beginning of this year, and one thing I will say is that the iPhone camera system is simply better all around.
@@a-terrible-fate532 one of the main reasons I'm switching. Also the fact I have kids so videos between me and the wife will come through better.
I suffer from headache due to phone screens, and the s24U has this relaxing look, even almost e-ink like. This alone would make me stick to using it.
It’s due to the PWM, you need a phone with a very high PWM
You suffer from headaches due to phone screens?? 😂 Tf kind of skill issue is that?
Nah it’s very common, it’s the way the screen is flickering. You don’t see it because it’s happening fast, but some people have a light sensitivity or PWM sensitivity that can cause blistering headaches. This used to happen to me too it’s horrible.

Hey same here loving it so far
🙌🙌 that’s awesome!
I have been using 12 pro max since 2020, I am thinking to switch as I have had lot of battery issues recently even after replacing the batteries, what would be a better option for me ?
I use my phone mostly for office meetings, emails, sometimes RUclips and other social media.. planning to keep the new device for 5 years...
if you like iOS, stick with with iphone (also iOS is a bit more smoother and less likely to have issues so for business i would recommend iphone)
im currently an iphone user but going to the S24u after my current 13 pro max
If you're already all in the iOS ecosystem, it may be best to stay. Moving over is tedious. I have the S24U, it lasts all day no question. I worked 10 hour shifts, played music/video on breaks, checked media and left with over 60% battery (typically around 65-68, lighter days I'd leave with 75). I do the document scan from camera a lot, and sign PDFs with the s pen then shoot out the email. This phone is great for business. iPhone has better optimization and flow if you're used to it by now.
The other comments basically nailed it. I don’t think it’s worth switching if you’re already involved with other Apple devices.
I’m aware Samsungs ecosystem works just as well and in some cases may be better, but apples feels very complete.
Thank you all for providing your insights, I think I have the clarity now.
I rock with your videos and perspective, as you come across as being honest from your view. Im just curious as to why you think the S24 Ultra is the POY when its hardly an upgrade from last years S23 Ultra, which that version I do agree was POY in 2023. Just want your feedback.
I think regardless of how big the upgrade is it improved in areas which make the device overall a better pick. If you were buying now, it’s a no brainer over the S23 Ultra and compared to what’s on the market I think it stands tall as still being a very solid option.
Thank you for the love 🙌🙌
