The S24 Ultra is just better, so here in Portugal, you can get an s24u with 256GB with a discount around 999€ and the 16 Pro Max for 1499€. There's nothing in this world that convinces me that the iPhone is better for the price, because it's not. The funny thing to me is that Samsung is cheaper and gives you more for less. The antiglare display, the s-pen, the 100x, the amazing performance and battery life, versatile and crazy good cameras for photo and video, the 7 years of software updates, the titanium build, even triple A gaming with emulation, no need to use an iPhone for that. In my opinion, these companies should take a more measured approach to product launches. It is not essential to release a new phone every year. Given the current lack of innovative design ideas, it would be more beneficial for companies to focus on improving customer service, software support, and reducing costs. For instance, my previous S21 FE was functioning well until it encountered the green line issue, which was attributed to a OneUI error. This compelled me to switch to the S23, and I am concerned that a similar issue may arise within the next two to three years, resulting in significant financial implications.
turning on adaptive brightness is the only and correct way to get the proper...full brightness from the s24 ultra display in bright sunny day...though its gets dim pretty quick.
Why is the Samsung display so dim ? In real life there’s no way it looks that dark in the sunlight. I own one and it’s much brighter then what the video depicts.
Same thing I saying this person like he did that purposely to bring down the S24 like if other ppl don't have both phones..he make it so obvious that anyone can recognise that the S24 screen is dim
Hey, I love Samsung. Met the people at Samsung Canada. In no way would I make the phone more dim on purpose, that is absurd. They were both at their max brightness. They both looked brighter in person. But the iPhone stood out vs. The two.
ty for saying this because im getting this phone in 2 weeks. currently have iPhone 15 pro max. and a flip 5 ...that screen looked way too dim. Made me question it.
@@valismind@ 1:42 it’s hard to believe the Samsung is set to max brightness. @ 2:56 the Samsung looks much brighter. @Masediz i still have my s23 ultra for almost 2 years yet i have GalaxyAI., why cant apple include it in the 16 series out of the box yet they keep advertising it 🤔
I own the s24 ultra i love it the anti glare screet is major benefit in outdoors or bright conditions but the reflective screens give a nice shiny richness to the screen aswell
I found this channel today, and it stole my attention at a glance. I had been a big fan of MKBHA when it comes to tech review. This channel represent videos in very entertaining way, which is really nice.
The s24u has the qualcomm x75 next-gen modem which has improved banding capabilities. The iPhone 16 uses an X71 modem which is based on the X70. This is like comparing an x55 with an X65. The X75 should have better remote reception based on the modems banding capabilities.
It's a fair video. In all honesty I bought the iphone 16 pro max on day one the bezels yet thinner I couldn't separate it from 15 pro max. The camera button is an acquired test. The camera is better but can't be separated from 15 pro max again. Great device if you are coming from the 12 pro devices or android if you like some customization.
Both are good. I like the risks Samsug is taking to diversify its phone portfolio.I still think the ecosystem is better for Apple. The AirPods pros for me running and working out are perfect.
I recently switched back to the iphone 15 plus from a s23 ultra. I really love the s23 ultra but I really hate the inconsistencies it gave me in social media apps and battery life but would totally reconsider if the s24 or the upcoming s25 ultra be more optimized in most social media apps
@@valismind I agree since for example the pixel 9 was already improving in that department but I still am conscious in buying one since after sales support here in my country is non existent ( philippines )

I have the phone and it has 0 issues with heating at all. I can play wuthering waves for a hour with no heat
Turn do not disturb on when filming something. It helps. Turn off 5G as well, saves battery, gives way more processing power for the active app you're using that requires a lot of graphics display compute power to operate efficiently. Phone is cold when shooting photos and videos afterwards.
Holy shit you're NotVali!! I just stumbled across this video and recognized your voice haha. Used to love the old counter strike videos man, glad to see you're still doing youtube!
How does the reflective coating do with a screen protector on it? And I wonder how it compares to an IPhone with an anti reflective screen protector 🤷🏻♂️
I completely agree with you. I'm honestly tired of Android getting worse and worse year over year. The fun days of Android are long since behind us. When you could get away with rooting your phone and had the ability to flash any custom rom to your device you wanted back in the 5, 6 and 7 days. Apple consistently takes the best of Android and puts it into their OS, but they don't over do it. I would not buy a Samsung these days. Their commitment to quality care is virtually non existent. Google, same thing. They actively make older phones suffer way more than Apple if you are intending to use them as long term storage devices. I am not a fan. But I will say this. A Pixel will always be cheaper than an iPhone or a Galaxy. And a this point, you get more value for your money if you get a cheap Pixel. You don't have to go Pro with Android to see what the latest buzz is all about over there. For awhile, Samsung had a good thing going when Apple was running through a mid brand identity crisis. But now those days are long since over, they've stabilized over at Apple, Samsung has deteriorated in basic quality of service and I'm very happy with what Apple's doing lately. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is the best thing they've ever made, and I'm returning to their ecosystem because of it. As for Samsung, their continued loss of quality care to anything they commit to making, as a company, rather than a contract and sometimes a sub contract is why I'm leaving. They're doing this to cut corners. As is Apple, but who they pick matters long term. Apple does it better right now. You made a great choice.
The lag problem in the iphone was most likely the beta software you mentioned, i literally had to get my iphone software restored at the apple store because of it
One thing you might be able to do to minimize lag, is turn do not disturb mode on. For whatever reason, it seems to help minimize background tasks. And this works on both Samsung and iPhone. I noticed that especially ever since 5G came out, and if you have 5G enabled in settings, the lag is a lot more noticeable. And this is true with all kinds of phones across the board, so turning off notifications helps if you have to enable the 5G connectivity. If you want some notifications, you can turn 5G off. But this greatly helped reduce lag and heat as well for me. Not to mention saving a ton of battery life in the process which I'm very happy about.
@@valismind that is really surprising to see. I use S24 Ultra and when i compared the iphone 16 pro max side by side the difference was not that stark (how it looked in some of the clips in your video)
I have been using 12 pro max since 2020, I am thinking to switch as I have had lot of battery issues recently even after replacing the batteries, what would be a better option for me ? I use my phone mostly for office meetings, emails, sometimes RUclips and other social media.. planning to keep the new device for 5 years...
if you like iOS, stick with with iphone (also iOS is a bit more smoother and less likely to have issues so for business i would recommend iphone) im currently an iphone user but going to the S24u after my current 13 pro max
If you're already all in the iOS ecosystem, it may be best to stay. Moving over is tedious. I have the S24U, it lasts all day no question. I worked 10 hour shifts, played music/video on breaks, checked media and left with over 60% battery (typically around 65-68, lighter days I'd leave with 75). I do the document scan from camera a lot, and sign PDFs with the s pen then shoot out the email. This phone is great for business. iPhone has better optimization and flow if you're used to it by now.
The other comments basically nailed it. I don’t think it’s worth switching if you’re already involved with other Apple devices. I’m aware Samsungs ecosystem works just as well and in some cases may be better, but apples feels very complete.
I recently (Late august) picked up the S24 Ultra. I also have the 14 pro max. I will upgrade to the 16 pro max later this year. I am fortunate to be able to afford both phones. I used to be a HUGE android fanboy (this s24 is my 8th samsung phone, the 14 pro max is my 3rd apple phone) but switched to Apple in 2023. I still like android which is why I have the ultra since both devices serve a purpose for me but I much prefer the apple device.

Hey you guys keep saying apple is not innovating What’s the difference between the s21-22-23-24 ultra and I bet you the s25 ultra will look the same So both are doing poorly in the aspect But android still gives more features
Its quite simple if you want a great phone get the Samsung if you want a boring out of date phone thats not made any changes in years get the iPhone its a no brainer
Honestly 24 is last years phone. 16 goes against 25. And still with time to prepare they always underperform, needed thousands of GB of RAM to do what iPhone does with just 4-6-8.
24 came out in Feb, iPhone came out last week. Both released in 2024. You could say the same thing about the iPhone 15PM vs. The S24 Ultra and say I’m being unfair to that phone. These are the devices that should be going head to head, they came out in the same year.
the focus is to be the best phone of that year it shouldn’t matter when it happens that year because will always look back the year rather than the month
@@Chris.Moralesi could see from both sides. I honestly think the closest release dates should be compared. S24u came out January 15th 2024 . So all the technology and final touches they put into this phone was from 2023 Where as the iphone 16 came out late September so they had most of 2024 to add the final tech and finishing touches. Also most big companies worry about "quarterly goals". No matter what though, like I mentioned before. The most fair would be to compare the 2 phones that have the closest release dates.

On top of all that, iPhone 17 comes out in September 2025! See what I did there?

the brightness doesn't hit your eyes hard even on max level and you'll never feels the eye fatigue with the s24u i like what they do with screen ❤
anti-reflection also is innovative
And 500€ euros cheaper ? That's just a steal man. No sacrifices
May I ask what triple A games can you emulate on it?
@@cozmo1232 what ever you'd like with emulator, like Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remake, Resident Evil 7, Doom 2016, Halo Mastercheif Collection, Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War 2018, Crysis Trilogy and the list goes on

This ideology works only if you think people upgrade every year though
Apple already did decide on 2 year phone cycle
turning on adaptive brightness is the only and correct way to get the proper...full brightness from the s24 ultra display in bright sunny day...though its gets dim pretty quick.
That’s actually really kind thank you so much and I’m glad you got some value out of it 🙏🙌🙏
Being in a rural area with poor coverage, I would like to know which phone is best for phone calls. Thanks
The s24u has the qualcomm x75 next-gen modem which has improved banding capabilities.
The iPhone 16 uses an X71 modem which is based on the X70. This is like comparing an x55 with an X65. The X75 should have better remote reception based on the modems banding capabilities.
i love the rich quality of the video and the shots even on 1080p it feels like 1440p when compared to other YT videos...
Valid reason, I’m hoping this is an area in which Samsung and other android oems continue to push their focus. I can see android dominating.
@@valismind I agree since for example the pixel 9 was already improving in that department but I still am conscious in buying one since after sales support here in my country is non existent ( philippines )
Yeah that is definitely a reason to be cautious. After sales support is very important if you plan to keep it for an extended number of years.
I've seen a lot of comparison videos for these two phones. This one is the best one I've seen. Great job.
Do anyone know where to download the wallpaper at the beginning? Love the style!! Many thanks!!
Great video. Did you notice any heating issues with the S24 Ultra, when using the camera? This seems to be a common problem, yet many tech RUclipsrs fail to mention.

Yes that is one thing Apple continuously improves upon, year over year.
what case and screen protector you recommend for the pro max? Spigen is good choice?
Spigen hands down that’s what’s on my phone
I am really considering an android phone Google’s Pixel 9 Pro as my secondary device but my iPhone will always be my primary
If you value the phone being speedy and smooth in 3 years avoid the pixels

Keen to know what was the screen brightness when you kept the phones side by side. Looked to me that you kept the S24 Ultra on a lower brightness
Both at max
@@valismind that is really surprising to see. I use S24 Ultra and when i compared the iphone 16 pro max side by side the difference was not that stark (how it looked in some of the clips in your video)
NAh. No dynamic island to me, that shit is taking too much space on the screen. s24U is clearly a winner here in term of everything.
I have been using 12 pro max since 2020, I am thinking to switch as I have had lot of battery issues recently even after replacing the batteries, what would be a better option for me ?
I use my phone mostly for office meetings, emails, sometimes RUclips and other social media.. planning to keep the new device for 5 years...
if you like iOS, stick with with iphone (also iOS is a bit more smoother and less likely to have issues so for business i would recommend iphone)
im currently an iphone user but going to the S24u after my current 13 pro max
