The answer should be no because the train still operating at the same capacity. The only difference is they’re not getting new money to expand the system.
Only stay in NYC on the job for 2 years & pushing for $15 toll. Now leaving nyc to boston for more pay. What a joke, leave a mess for us. $15 doesn't affect him. He never intended to stay in nyc.
how aware are you of the simple fact that the vast vast majority of people entering and exiting Manhattan do so via mass transit? This policy affects almost nobody. Thinking otherwise shows how out of touch you are with regular NYC workers
RIGHT HERE THEY NEED TO PUT N.Y.P.D. POLICE TRANSIT 🚇🚇 DISTRICT COPS 👮♀️ 👮♂️ 🚔 DOWNSTAIRS INSIDE NEAR THE SUBWAY TRAIN 🚇🚇 STATION PLATFORMS NOT AT THE TURNSTYLES WHERE YOU SCAN & $$$ PAY 2.90 CENTS WITH YOUR OMNY SCANNER CARD PASS.

The logical thing is : ninety percent of the people who travel to Manhattan to work use public transportation, then those ninety percent are the ones who should pay for that tax to improve a service that suits them and not ten percent remaining percent that do not use the train service.
Yep! MTA is always in financial problems. It's a combination of mismanagement, greed, and grift. Jana Lieber makes 400k, which is more than the president. Overtime in the MTA is ridiculous, where people are making hundreds of thousands per year in overtime alone, on top of their six figure salaries. Regarding corruption and fraud, they MTA was caught "cooking the books" in 2003 which was in every newspaper in NYC. They inflated their debt to perpetuate a lie that revenue was needed, so they could justify raising the fare. You can find those articles with a simple on-line search. They submitted fraudulent financial documents with the intent to deceive the government and the public, and were audit and discovered, and no one was prosecuted.

$15 doesn't affect you either
@@faywhite7886 it affects me because I have a 90 year mom that lives inside the zone & I have to drive her. I don't get any discounts.
@@happywong1671 why don't you take the train to her

It is not pleasant for me or my neighbors in Queens to pay an extra $300 a month in taxes for a service from which we do not benefit.
then take the train
AUDIT THE MT. Use the savings to fund MTA repairs. Additionally reduce fare beating.
"The investment leads to reliability"....uh.

That tax is stupid and illegal.

by that same logic are you open to transit riders getting a tax deduction for the road infrastructure they don't use? Sounds like a deal to me
@@aaronmiranda1023 drivers pay for that infrastructure every time they pay tolls in highways, tunnels and bridges.
Does anyone care about the opinion of New Yorkers? 64% said no to congestion pricing.
Where did you get that fact? Most nyers dont even own a car

Why didn't Marcia interview any official who opposes that horrible tax?
He knew he was leaving that’s why he was pushing for it.
You guys got so much money and blew it away. Why do you deserve more? Corruption and fraud
