Thanks For Tuning In! Авто/Мото
Dude the last video I watched without skipping a sec was 10 light years ago and u broke the streak upload more ma dude
More uploads to come! Currently just doing once a week since that's what I can do consistently while I'm also attending class! Thanks for supporting!
Light year is distance not time😭
Very cool! Respect to anyone that works on their own cars and having fun!
Thanks for the kind comment!
Damn looks like a bunch of fun. Makes me want to do mine now!
👍 👍 💪 💪
Definitely is! Would love to see your Rolla boosted!
Dude I love your videos and your Corolla is amazing, are you serious about installing a turbo? That would be amazing.
I’m trying to create a similar style, always loved the speedway blue, want to repaint my white Corolla. I’m pleasantly surprised your engine is painted as well that’s a nice touch.
@@WillChang How much did that turbo fully cost you? Was it a cheap one?
Mad reapect to the build man. Its not all about fast but also about the fun and a turboed rolla fun as hell. Also u happy asf with the successful testts ggs bro keep it up
Thank you for the kind comment! To me, fast is fun but fun doesn't have to be fast!
loving hearing the genuine happiness! 👍🏿
Thank you so much!
Man I was following you when you were below 500subs, this is so awesome to see, so happy for you man please keep the vids coming great work brotha!
Just found your channel and i am so happy i did, you remind me a shit ton of gingium and i see you doing big projects in the future! Im excited to see it bro, keep it up from a fellow car enthusiast 🔥
Nice! Love your content and your enthusiasm. Best part of wrenching is doing it yourself and enjoying something you've built. +1 Subscriber! Keep up the journey!
100% agreed! Glad to have earned your subscription, thank you so much!
Insane bro keep having fun with your cars💪🙌
Thank you very much!
I just found your channel Will and man oh man, hearing your rolla pull like that while you lol made me smile! Keep up the great work bro, cant wait for the next upload!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Good job man 👍 not sure if anyone agrees but exhaust clamps aren't the way to go. Ditch the clamps and get them welded, also recommend AN fittings for oil lines especially with it up against the firewall.
amazing the amount of love you have put in this corolla.. I wish i could do that with mine but i dont have a garage to even do the regular mechanic maintenance to it
Would be awesome to see you be able to build your Corolla, hopefully in the near future you'll have a place to work on it!
You’re giving me inspiration to turbo my 05’ Corolla 1zz haha. Love it bro
Hey nice to see the Toyota can take on a turbo witch I'm going to install major happy that you have installed it thanks heaps 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Nice work Will. Have fun
Man, I just got your channel recommended today 👌
Loved the turbo installation video. The intercooler looks so good 👍. I have a 2007 corolla that I am giving to my 15 year old son it will be his first car , and I bought the Corolla when he was born because I had a motorcycle and an El Camino and had no room for a Baby so I sold my bike and got the corolla, it only has 125k Miles if you open the hood still looks new only issue the sun baked the paint off like most corollas 😆.
I purchased a se corolla in 2020 and have done some mods, but nothing major . My son and I together did it, and it sparked a love for cars for him ! Now he is all into cars . we will do some work on his corolla , starting with spoilers, exhaust , and some beats , I got the rims already 😆, little by little .
Thank you he saw your video and is all pumped up now. We subbed and liked your videos .. we had a huge smile on our faces watching you do your first test runs .. awesome ..
By the way, I am teaching him how to drive, and this will be his starter car. Who knows, maybe I'll give him my corolla once he's gotten more experience.
Here is a link to my corolla

Thank you for the kind words! Awesome to hear that you're giving your son your 9th gen, my parents bought this car new too and handed it down to me when I started driving! I checked out your Corolla video and I love it, I'm a big fan of the 12th gens and I really like what you've done with yours. Glad to have earned a like and subscription from you!
Nice work. Looks like you need to set "base boost" by adjusting your waste gate arm. If you are making 1 psi your base boost is set to 1 psi. Shortening the length of the wg arm will increase the base boost pressure. WG should not open until you have reached the desired pressure or you may have turbo lag and strange turbo behavior. Keep up the good work!
Love the video. Keep doing what you love
My first video looking at ur channel was ur last video and that was a very cool video, nuff love and respect bro people like you give other confidence to be brave and do things on their own! 😊
Thank you so much for the kind comment! If I can do it, I think anyone can!
You have inspired me to build my Corolla
Awesome, glad it worked out for you man, really motivating me here to mod mine lol. Unfortunately I am limited to what I can do due to the fact that I live in an apartment :(
Thank you! Yeah apartments can be pretty limiting if you haven't got anywhere else to work but once you're able to start modding it'll be worth the wait!
Keep up the videos! Super informative and entertaining
Thank you very much!
Man was waiting for this video damn son this is awesome 👌
Thank you!
Oh yeah.... been waiting for this one
Yessir!
Came a long way I love to be able to see all the progress u made I'm currently modifying my rolla got some rev 9 coilovers they are coming in the 14th the goal is to make it handle as good as possible then turbo it so next step is new wheels and tires
That's awesome! Sounds like your build is coming along nicely!
@@WillChang I want to thank you because if I didn't see it could be done I wouldn't be working towards it thanks for being u and keep being u
14:27 your attitude has forced my hand. i have to subscribe 😉 stay awesome bro! no one needs to tell you i can tell but keep learning!!
I'm glad to have earned your subscription! I always try my best to keep a positive attitude, I don't want to promote negativity in the community!
When you uploaded the last video you had almost 4K subscribers, now you at 4.7K. Keep grinding man, let's make it 5K this month.
Yeah the growth of the channel has been insane recently! Looks like we really could hit 5k by the end of the month which would be amazing!
Bro this is cool as hell I like sleeper builds fun builds like this keep hustling and keep wrenchin🔧🏎
Thank you so much, I'm glad you like the project!
My fist car was a 9th gen Corolla i love that car! I love this channel
Such a great little car, own an 07 myself. Very nice build.
Thank you very much!
Great video! Just purchased a 2013 Corolla and looking forward to do some mods. 👌
Thank you very much! Looking forward to the progression of your Corolla!
When you clocked the turbo or installed it, it could have tweaked the actuator preload, normally how Ive set them is wind in the rod till the hole is offcenter from the pin by 5-7mm. This equated for me close to 6-7psi.
That probably is what happened, I'll get around to fixing the preload soon!
This is super cool 🤩 corollas getting love 😎
Thank you so much!
Great video Will, glad you got the boost issue under control. Are you familiar with Brent & Jamie from PFI Speed ? All I know is they are from Colorado, not sure what part. Hope you take it to Bandimere next year and see what it can do in 1/4 mile.
Now that you mention them yeah I've heard of PFI speed, I don't think they're actually super far away from me so I'll definitely check them out! And I'll definitely need to see what this thing can do in the quarter mile!
I always loved the 9th gen Corollas. I had a 10th gen, but I know the 9th had more power. It's cool to see someone boost a Rolla
I think the 9th and 10th Gen Corollas actually made pretty similar power except for the 05-06 XRS which made 170 instead of 130! Thanks for your comment!
Awesome build 🔥🔥
For your wastegate issue you should check the adjustment on the wastegate actuator rod if it's got an internal wastegate, my guess is that it's just not set right which makes it open too early
As a 9th Gen enthusiast this makes me miss mine so much but I’m so hyped to see a turbo 1zz
Facts, I've gotta bring this one to the next Corolla meet!
Its the joint connecting the cat to the downpipe thats leaking from the sounds in this clip, and oh yeah have you adjusted the wastegate actuator, more preload will keep it closed and give more boost
I miss my corolla so much love the stuff your doing with this car
Thank you very much, glad you're enjoying the videos!
Huge congratulations! The main person I knew of for tuning was Eddie at Elite Performance and Tuning. He can be a little hit or miss on getting ahold of though.
Thank you! And I'll see if I can get ahold of Eddie, thanks!
That's so cool mate 🤙🏼
Thank you!
Just subbed and bing watching your corolla stuff. I have a 07 corolla but who am I kidding...will never turbo mines. Lol I used to have cool carsm 90 integra, 97 prelude, s2000 were some of my babies once upon a time.
I have an e130 Corolla it’s nice seeing these boosted 😁
Awesome to meet more Corolla owners! Thank you!
Wow very good nice. I'm a big fan of you+👍🔔
Thank you very much!
go men go....... enjoy your car👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much!
You are the man.
Bro I’m ngl ever sense I got my Corolla I’ve been wanting to deck it out and mod it but I haven’t seen anything on how to help with that love to see what you did with it thanks for being something to inspire me to do mine
Thanks for the kind words! I’d love to see the progress of your Corolla build!
Great job! what is your fuel mileage now? Also what kit did you buy
Bro your interior is so beautiful
Consider a Wideband to monitor your AFRs.. dont let it go lean.. and maybe a cheap scanner to view if there are any detonation (knock) signals.
My gauge has readouts for boost and AFR from a Bosch 4.9 wideband so I'll know how it's running! Good advice for checking knock though, I'll be sure to check every time I drive while it's still on the base tune!
Your videos are inspiring. My 03' corolla has 240k and I was thinking about getting a new car but maybe I'll just do some upgrades. What is your favorite mod besides the turbo lol?
Awesome man. !
Thank you!
It’s because you flipped and adjusted the shift rod tighten it up you’ll get your boost back without having to use the Manual controller
I'll check on this, for now I like the adjustability of the MBC but if necessary I'll mend the shift rod
Sweeeeet bro! I wanna see it hit 8lbs! Lol. Great vid
We'll turn up the boost in due time! 5 psi is a pretty safe number while it's still on the base map but once it's tuned we'll turn it up a little!
This is radical dude
Thanks!
When you flipped ur wastegate on ur turbo u loosen up the threaded rod ur wastegate spring pressure to connected it back when you turn that threaded rod out u are taking boost away turn the in increase the boost u don't need that boost controller u just need to adjust the internal wastegate once u loosen that nut take the e clip off the dump flap then turn the rod inward one full turn equals 1psi take a permanent marker while wastegate rod still hooked to the dump flap mark the top so u can indicate one full turn once u reached ur desired boost take a pair of pliers pull the rod to connect the rod back to the dump flap door then lock the nut back down and ur set
have fun broo good project
Definitely having fun with it! Thank you!
Gangsta rolling under the car with a white hoodie!
Watching from Pakistan love the Corolla series ❤️❤️
Thank you so much for the support!
I have a very rare 5 speed and I appreciate your videos
Full send baby
Heck yeah!
Beautiful man.
the corolla is fast no need to tune ecu running it to 5psi or maximum 9psi will keep it reliable plus the manual boost controller is best for projects like those you must have them on.so far nice work, adjust blowoff valve for a better woshhh sound
I'm not worried about making it fast, but it's gotta run safely so it'll need a protune for it to run safely and optimally!
I got a 9th gen rolla, you should drop links for parts/cosmetics and whatnot that you reccomend installing. I wanna make mine clean 😎
ha! the fear of getting locked inside out 12:44
This is dope bro
Thank you very much!
Nothing like a turbo to *boost* views 👍😎👍
Haha I see what you did there!
@@WillChang Don't forget to idle the car before turning off engine. Turbo will appreciate the love as it cools down. 👍
AWESOMEEEE MAN
Thank you so much!
PFI Speed would be a great tuner for the FIC!
U have to set preload on ur wastegate. Adjust the rod 3 full turns
Great video I want to do my scion tc
Thank you! I'd love to see your TC boosted!
You should not need a boost controller to get into positive boost. That boost controller is just a Band-Aid. It's very possible that your wastegate actuator is not properly adjusted. Or maybe your vacuum source has an issue
awesommmmeee !!
Thank you!!
Please route ur pcv to the front of ur turbo inlet. Ur putting boost pressure into ur crank case/ block
That’s awesome I have a matrix XR I want to turbo thanks for the videos I watched both of them need that ecu first so I can start to tune mine got bolt ons right now
Very cool, I'm excited to see your Matrix build progress! Thank you for the kind comment!
@@WillChang ya going to be along time before I can or win the lottery lol
Great content. I likey:D
Glad you enjoy it!
Nice!
Good job 👏 😊
nice job!!
Thank you! Cheers!
this guy is great
Thank you so much!
So cool!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽🤙🏽😊
Thank you!!
love this
Thank you!
Do you still do the reset of the idle control. ? Even after market but ecu disconnected from the battery on toyota model's not all you have to do the manual install.
I love how happy you are about it and you’re a regular guy just like me. Subscribed, if the auto trans ever blows you should manual swap!
Manual swap is definitely planned whether the automatic blows or not! And I’m so glad to have earned your subscription, thank you! 🙏🏼
your boost issue can also be from your wastegate preload. i just watched your install video and it looks like you didnt put any preload on it. i would go back and check that. usually you want the hole to line up with the wastegate and before installing it you want to screw it in about 2 to 3 turns inward making the arm shorter. you should have to pull the arm out and slide it on the pin. the extra tension should help with the door staying closed while it builds boost. there are a bunch of videos on how to set wastegate preload. you may not even need the manual boost controller after correctly setting the preload. good luck and great job!
ruclips.net/video/zLe6Js_KwZs/видео.html here it is...
Yep this is my issue, I need to go back and set preload. I'll probably keep the MBC on there since I have it but I'll just have it turned all the way down so the wastegate does everything. Thank you!
I have a corolla 2004 type s what engine modifications would you suggest to start off with and continue on with ?
how do you hook up a catch can? where do the lines go exactly?
That catch can setup needs a check valve to the intake. If there is not one you will pressurize the crank case. And it's technically a boost leak.
I actually didn't know this, thanks so much for sharing!
Any update with miles? Any issues so far engine or trans? And how did you figure out tuning or did I miss that part?
Nice Corolla is it possible to keep it auto I have a 03 LE already did full suspension just want a little more power
Nice Nice Nice look up PFI SPEED maybe they can help you with a tune
I'll definitely contact them!
I'm trying to decide if I want to do a turbo or supercharger install on my toy.
Please make a video on how to fix exhaust leaks I go the same issues and I tried fixing it with epoxy steel, I guess it didn't work
I may in the future if I have another exhaust leak to fix! Already fixed this one off camera
i want to do this so bad on my Auto Celica 1zz, but also i want to manual swap it as well, so I'm unsure
I’m over here contemplating whether I should sell my Corolla or build it… cool car btw!!!
Thank you so much! Best advice I can give is to do what makes you happy, whether that's building your Corolla or building something else!
You should do a K swapped Corolla
Cool video but you don’t wanna use the trans tubes for oil. All it takes is the oil to overheat and ultimately cause a fire from oil leaking out onto your engine. Stay safe
The amount of oil going through it is so minimal that I don't think it's a big deal, the hose the catch can originally came with was worse quality than this. Thank you for the advice though, I wouldn't use this hose if it saw significant oil flowing through!
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH I WANNA DO IT MUAHAHHHAA
Bro fuck what people say. Ur having fun working on ur car. Keep doing what u wanna do
That's what it's all about, having fun!
ur voice is just crazy man
