I've been eyeballing this bag for like a week for a 2 week trip to Italy where I'll changing destinations frequently. This is just what I needed. Deem me gratefully influenced!! ❤
I've been living out of this bag for a few months now and I love it!! The only thing that is sometimes annoying is that the little attached bag doesn't have a flat bottom so it doesn't stand straight and usually just slides to the ground hah but other than that it's amazing!! Have fun in Italy!!🌞
I was very excited to get this Osprey bag until I tried it out at an REI. It just didn’t fit me. I ended up with a 25 L Packsafe. Tromped through Asia and was so glad for the small size! Seeing it on you, I still really like that Osprey!
That's exciting! I hope everything works out and you're able to go on this adventure :). Buying the bag so far in advance just means you don't have to worry about it now, you're all set. I just found a vintage leather suede duffel + backpack set at an estate sale of a woman who was a big traveler (her and her husband went to over 50 countries!) so now I feel like I need to book a trip myself 🤣.
So the daypack does not zip to the main bag (anymore)? I think it worked like this with an older version. Also you didn‘t mention this feature (combining the bags on top of each other) in the specs part of the video so I assume you are not excited to use it? I am thinking of purchasing the fairview for my trip to Vietnam, thank you for your video!
The bag doesn't zip anymore, but there are some loops on the daypack that you can use to strap it to the main pack using those compression straps :) I think I'll probably wear the daypack on the front more often than attaching everything on the back. I find it more comfortable, and it distributes the weight more evenly 😊 but the option to attach everything to the back is there if you need it!
Hmmm🤔 I wonder if there's a place near you that carries then so you could try it on? And if not, most online retailers will let you return it! It does have adjustable torso height, so it would be worth looking into I would think😊
Hi! I don't think the 70-liter bag is carry-on compliant. If you go on the Osprey website, they have the option to compare the specs of different bags so it might be worth comparing the 50L and the 70L :))
hey :D I bought the farpoint 40 + the daypack, can you really bring both of them as carry on ? the 40L + Daypack? did you have any problems ? ( btw sub +1 )

You're welcome! Glad it was helpful :))
great video and nice color of the bag! really want to get this bag but I am 163cm im worrying if its going to be TOO huge on my back.

Do you know the difference of this bag with 70 capacity bag? Is that one very big or not? And can we carry it(70) on the plane?

Heyy :) What is the color of your backpack called?
Hi! Do you have an update on how this bag went? :) thanks!!
i plan on making one soon! stay tuned :))
good morning!Gabrielle~that's unreal - be well-
Thank you!❤️
I thought you had 70L of total space, with the main pack being 55L, not 40L and the small day pack at 15L. At least thats what i was told at REI
There's a 70L option too! But I got the 50L as it's carry on compatible :)
I love your videos!
Awe, you're so sweet! Thank you❤
Hi, is this the new version because my shoulder strap is not movable
It must be! I bought it in 2023 so it's likely the newest version they have at the time of this comment :))
@@GabrielleLindaaa That's a good improvement! Thanks for confirming :)
MUCHAS GRACIAS MUY INFORMATIVO Y DETALLADO TU VIDEO .
no problem! glad you enjoyed :))

yes! the 40L is your carry on and the daypack is considered a personal item :))
Did you still have space to bring home souvenirs?
I think I will! I'll try to pack as little as possible on the way there so that on the way back, I can bring some things home with me:))
