I have a soft spot for Alba Esteban. She Has been doing this along time, but has not shined as much as other young women in the group, but she is still advancing as a good musician
Talento, técnica y sentimiento a toneladas.
What a warm, rich, and full sound on your Bari, Ms. Esteban. And playing alongside the great Ted Nash, you held your own. Sharing sections of the melody as you did, made me feel as though I was eavesdropping a close conversation. Beautiful and satisfying playing, everyone!
Alba's dedication and hard work over the years is evident. She plays with great sensitivity, ~ lovely smooth tone and great phrasing. # Thank you for this track.
Just can't stop with the magic over there can you Joan! And let's hear it for Ted Nash, Marc, Arnau, Joan and little Alba all grown up into a silky bari player. Bless you all!
Whenever someone needs a dictionary illustration of smooth and cool, here it is. I can't be the only one who hears "All Too Soon" when this song plays. This one came out first, 1939 to 1940. Funny that my favorite version of "All Too Soon" features Andrea playing with Jesse Davis in 2011 -- with Arnau on the drums and Marc on the piano.
Thank you Joan Chamorro for all of these lovely tunes from way back in time. They remind me of my younger days and they must be remembered and kept. Wonderful musicianship from all of your players. Best wishes from the UK.
Joan, another gem. Alba Esteban is fabulous on a very unusual instrument for a young woman or almost anyone else.. I applaud Ted Nash for his great working with Alba. You trio is , of course, a great treat. What a joy.
This is the best record of the beautiful sound and volume of Alba's baritone, who is approaching her masterful command of the soprano. Alba is a lucky artist. Her gold standard to achieve is herself. As for singing, she is at the top with her impeccable balance. Nice Ted Nash presence on this. Mais sobre o texto original
I love Alba! Please, could someone describe mouthpiece and reed that Alba prefers. Curious about her sax too.... I know these are just a very small part, and most important is her developed talents! Thank you very much!
AlbaEsteban, so sweet and soft voice much like Billy Holiday’s style. But then she hits you with her Baritone Sax and for a young person she plays excellent. I love to listen to her sing and play her Sax. !!! Thanks Alba JP
Nothing surprises me when it comes to Alba E, an absolutely wonderful woman with a fantastic sound in her barrier, she is a worthy SAJB member to get her own CD.
It's very nice to see and hear Ted Nash, whose work with Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra I have long admired, play with Joan and Alba. Very nice song with excellent solos. Thanks for posting this.

I've loved Alba's playing since she was a girl! Such a beautiful turn on the bari! She is superb.
Wow, never heard Alba so beautiful on Bari, and with such feeling and tone...a wondrous girl.

I never heard a better tone from a baritone sax. Thank you Alba!
I'LL BE THERE TILL DAWN ...FOR ALBA💖🎷🔥
So beautiful, it absolutely melts my heart. Magnificent, Alba Esteban!
OH MY! So good to see Alba out front and with the amazing Ted Nash. Many thanks Marc, Arnau, and of course, Joan!

And for a sick one too
I remember listening in the 50's to the Mulligan/ Baker Quartet. hearing this beautiful interpretation of "Dream' by Alba and is unbelievable.

What a tune this one!
Congrats guys
That bari tone is fantastic!
Very very nice playing by the whole band . Both sax players sounded excellent. The tenor player was really especially good.
Ted Nash! And Alba Esteban together, members of my two favorite jazz bands.
Bravo Alba E and guys, so beautiful!!!
Alba's Bari tone is incredible
Very beautiful and wonderful performance, Ted Nash's playing is of course wonderful, but the baritone's performance was tasteful and very memorable.
Alba's the living end as we used to say... beautiful tone on that Bari...
ALBA IS A REAL ...SOPHISTICATED WOMAN ...ESPECIALLY WHEN PERFORMING!👏👏👏

Absolutely magnificent version. Wonderful playing by Alba and Ted! Superb!
One of the most listenable versions I have ever heard and I’ve been listening to this kind of music since the 1960s. Absolutely superb musicianship.
Just can't stop with the magic over there can you Joan! And let's hear it for Ted Nash, Marc, Arnau, Joan and little Alba all grown up into a silky bari player. Bless you all!
Help! I can't stop listening to the 8 or so bars, simply sublime!
Thank you.
The more times you listen to Alba the more you love her playing, she is a fantastic barryton saxophonist, and a beautiful woman
Wonderful band! And colorful sound and phrasing from the Bariton sax. I listen again now ...
Absolutely some of the most lovely tones I have ever heard. Wonderful!
Enchanted by the voice of that baritone sax!!!
Playing jazz is describing your feelings. And you guys understand the meaning of it……
.
At first didn’t recognized this lady. 😊 But then …. man, how surprised I was.
And a beautiful performance too. Amazingly good. 👏🏻👏🏻
The baritone sax is a gorgeous solo instrument! And she plays it so beautifully.
Alba’s lovely tremolo, reliable pitch, and breathy tone, are all developing and maturing right before our ears. What a pleasure!
What can i say, I can not stop listening to this! Alba is wonderful, with a a superb tone from her Baritone Saxophone.

I thought Ted was playing a tenor. Best alto sound I've ever heard
He WAS playing a tenor🤠 - but I think you knew that!
@@michaelfoxbrass oh... That's why. There's written alto in the video description :)

Lovely, Alba and Ted brilliant.
Alba has an impressive command of that huge instrument. She can play it as smoothly as she wants. Brava!
Loving this….sounds like I’m walking in NYC on a foggy night and maybe Sonny is on the bridge practicing…sweet ballad
What a lovely thing to say!

Wow, Alba, nicely done with Mr. Ted Nash!
Brutal!!!
This is just a gorgeous/lovely rendition. Slow swingin’ jazz at it’s best. Kudos gal/guys. Enjoy this beauty folks. Toodeloo’s & Cheers!
