Instead of the old iron cross logo, can you stamp the baseplates with a hammer and sickle? And since you removed "USA" from the bottom, can you replace it with "CHINA"?
😅
That would suit them better.

What happened to the Indy Cross?
Mis-informed Censorship
It drank bud light.
They've been talking about removing it for decades now due to many people considering it racist or just generally charged in a negative manner. Many people who work for indy hate it and now is just when it happened. It got removed. The edge lords want it back, they happily shove a swastika on there tbf.
But the people who run indy removed it, if you can't deal with that then go buy different trucks. Simple
Blame weak kneed board of execs.
Probably because too closely looks like an iron cross worn by the nazis
I got the stage 11 hollows, probably never use anything different.
you missed forged hollow mids with 50.5 height
Neat graphics, who does your CAD?
Been grinding my 169's down to their axles since I was a teenager, (53 now, never quit). Curious though, where's the 101 and the 215 in this video? They're important models!
Also, you realize you blew it when you gave up the cross to hate-groups? Skateboarding has always been a sanctuary for everyone, any color, gender, everyone, yet ya buckled. For what? Fear and ignorance? I'm still "Indy for life" but you heads at NHS blew it, you literally gave your iconic cross away to the "gravy-seals" and every other group of moronic hate-mongers that what? Exactly, DON'T SKATE. Missed opportunity to stand up for yourselves NHS and regulate that kook shit. Again I'm still down with the program. After seeing some of the comments I felt inspired to say hey. Oh, and why not a 169 in the Mid? Whatever, I'm sure I'm just pissing in the wind, don't care. Thanks for bringing back the Stage 4's, they rule! Anyway, long may we all roll. ✌🏼🙌🏼🤙🏼
Skaters have always claimed that "skateboarding is for everyone" but are the first to shun anyone or anything that doesn't share the consensus of the hive mind. Indy ditching the cross and moving their production to China are two huge mistakes. But since they appease the hive mind, they will continue to be the most skated truck.
@@RatSewagehonestly. There’s nothing but truth to your points. I’ve been skating Chinese stage XI’s both 144 & 149 as I’m constantly switching between different setups. They are completely different than what I remember American indies to be. They turn pretty well at first but the break in period is stupidly long and annoying. My 149s constantly squeak and I’ve already had to rethread them and they’re more geared for Cruising and transition. Just disgusting. I actually offered my boy to trade his American indies that are to the kingpin (almost) for brand new 149’s. He really needs new trucks and he said no 😂😂😂.
Make a hollow kingpin forged baseplate and a solid steel axle please indy
The Mids are especially heavy.
The kingpins should be hollow. That's the mistake here.
If you want a light truck, this isn't it.
Any information about the wheelbase? Is it true that Titanium Indys have a bit bigger wheelbase? My old "Tindys" from about 2014 seem to have an actual wheelbase of 436mm with 14'' wb deck and about 440mm with a 14.25'' wb deck (and yes I did measure both sides of my sk8 and took the average). I don't have any stage 11-s to compare them with. So the point in short: 14'' wb decks feel personally more manageable with Titaniums.
does nerding help ur skating by science or is it havin balls
Almost 37 and most of the ride or die guys don’t skate anymore, theyre too injured by that time. I’m into longevity and personal fun. 7 months of unskateable season makes me a nerd probably yes.
Sick af !

215s missing. Forged Hollow version of Mids missing.
Raw stage 11 hollows with the standard baseplate don’t exist in the UK
Only hollow forged

can I skate a 8.25 deck w the 169 indys?
You can, but the wheels are going to stick out and might trip over them. Go with 149's😊
@@lexbeltran1354I already got the 169’s lol, maybe a 8,5 deck would be better
@@j4cob556 Go for it!
The stage 4's in the video have 6 holes in the base plate.
the ones i have on my 9" board have 6 holes. maybe a thing on the bigger sizes only? haha you made me go double check my board
All Stage 4 Trucks come with a 6 hole baseplate
@@IndependentTrucks will you guys release slightly harder official bushings for stage 4s? your regular bushings don't fit and I've heard ace or bones might, with extra washers added etc. don't wanna do that. we need bushings that fit this truck
@@dneck Or softer. I was looking for better turning trucks at a 9" size. I don't know why, but, 169s with the stock bushings just aren't as loose as I want them to be. For some reason I have much better luck with 159s. And also, I have had problems with the bushings you can buy separately. I've tried soft, and super soft barrel bushings and found them to not be much softer at all. I also tried medium and soft conical bushings and for some reason the mediums were softer than the soft. I think they must harden over time and if they happen to be sitting on the shelf at the shop for awhile, they won't be as soft as they should be. Super soft should be like what Ace stock bushings are. Now those are soft. After the bushing hardened up on the Stage 4s, I was disappointed in them. I don't really like the look of them and the turn didn't really seem that much different than Stage 11. The main issue I have is that the bushings are too hard. I like my trucks loose. I'm wondering if I need to switch to Bones bushings, or, start shaving the bushings down some. The strange thing is that I have 159s that are good an loose, and others that are not. And I always set the nut to flush to the top. The bushings are inconsistent even new.

If the cross doesn’t return, then at least put something on the front of the baseplate. It looks plain and boring.
