Too may of the younger generation are just street skaters and they don't even have the vert experience to attempt something big like this. As a 52 year-old mountain bike enthusiast for 30 years, I can tell the youngsters that the crashes take their toll. Crash at 20 ....no problem. Bruises and rash heal in about 7-10 days. Crash at 50 .....3- 6 weeks. We still have that inner-animal in us that tells us to go for it - but there's a voice in there that says "is it worth being out-of-commision for a month?" The fact that this guy still goes for it deserves so much respect. The guy is a warrior. So much heart. Respect, sir.

Totally feeling this. That 5 second thrill or feeling of accomplishment is no longer as worth the recovery time from from injuries while trying to get there. Not just because the recovery time had lengthened, but also because you've experienced a lot of those intense but short thrills and accomplishments, so other longer but less intense thrills and accomplishments which you could have enjoyed over a few weeks of you weren't busy with recovery become much more attractive

So it may have misled some people. There are only four people who have been able to spin completely and he's one of them. honz1122 in the world of skateboarding, if you have proper skill, you can skate longer because of physics, rather that exert yourself to the level of say a footballer. but as you see when he takes a few falls, the level of damage is quite extensive, and he even threw his board without a proper cheer or self satisfaction, more anger at the asker, it was clearly a pay to play stunt. and I'm talking about his "last" 900 my bad. this video was pretty sweet, it always amazes me when he can duck before cutting his head off

+Bo Huggabee Yeah, I see what you're saying. But you can only take so many falls at that age before you start to feel it
