At this point it’s almost weird to see Brad indoors
Indoors Brad is a endangered species.
Not his natural habitat
lot of videos with him in or near wourder
Rachel literally unlocked a childhood memory I had long forgotten. Those spicy tomato lays were so goooddddddddd!!!!!!!!!!
I would have loved to watch this pre-COVID BA... I miss all the OGs!
Brad I love everything you do with using rare used cooking methods to create amazing ingredients. I saw your name and popcorn and was thanking you for the dehydrated egg yolks. I make a batch every week, my family uses it on everything! My wife's favorite snack is popcorn and she stop putting parmesan cheese on her popcorn. Just seasoned dehydrated egg yolks. Just a huge fan chef!
i am so happy that kendra made "popcorn." i've been a fan of ba for years - i'm a huge foodie and love to experiment with new ingredients and flavors - but i was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis about 2 years ago. sooo many of my favorite foods are no longer an option for me (i can only get my greens in smoothies, rip my daily kale salads!!) and popcorn actually falls into that category because the kernel is difficult to digest. seeing a fun, addictive alternative that provides that signature crunch while also serving as a neutral vehicle for all sorts of toppings--and that also won't have me in crippling pain--really made my day. thank you!!!
Just throwing this out there, have you tried intermittent fasting? A lot of health benefits for a lot of different health conditions, and on the off chance... why not check out some YT videos on it? I did for myself and I can honestly say that it changed my life for the better. (Popular versions include just eating between noon and 8 pm, to a smaller 4 to 5 hour window, or one meal a day... assuming your Doctor is ok with it, of course!) Good luck, whatever path you take to better health!
Kendra, sorghum is a member of the grass family, and when popped, sorghum is impressively similar to popcorn, it might even be better! You should give it a try!
indeed, it is healthier because it is a more nutritious grain and it is digested - unlike corn which doesn't break down due to outer cellulose
.. but the sorghum kernels are smaller, and the popped sorghum is smaller by volume.. besides not being available in mainstream stores (especially sorghum for popping), and is much more expensive than corn
so, rice cakes are kind of a better alternative
How many “pro chef” vids do y’all film in a day bc everybody has been wearing the same clothes for the past 2 1/2 months of videos 😂
This is crazy!
Literally!
Came to the comments for this. If it weren't for Kendra it could be easy to miss, but that shirt is like a flashing sign.
😂😂
Chris doesn't count, I'm pretty sure he has 76 of the blue button ups
Love the champorado & dilis pop corn! And Melissa seems comfortable around Brad. More of this duo please. 😊
what does caramel fish even taste like? my mind cant compute. all the other ones were great though.
@@davidwong656 sweet and salty! Like chocolate covered bacon lol
My favorite duo!
I need more Melissa and Brad duo. Please and thank you
I keep trying to come back here and renew my love for this channel but it's just not happening. I used to love these types of segments. Now it's like watching the office with every character switched out.
Oh my god thats exactly how I feel ! I miss the old group :( their dynamics and sense of humour.
i didnt knew this channel was still going after all that insanity.. i thought they shot down.. but yet people watch it and seems to forget what happened
@@marc23009 what insanity?
@@marc23009 judging by the views not alot of people are watching at all.
Some people just aren’t good with change! So many people are so offended. Just stop watching the channel then. Simple
I keep lots of popcorn for snacks this is REALLY a fun addition to my existing ways of pumping up popcorn snacks. In the mean time go kettle corn.
The vegan sour cream one looks so good! I didn’t even know soy milk powder existed and now I’m excited to try new things . 😍
i usually just throw some butter, salt and sriracha on my popcorn but some of these are so interesting!! Chrissy and Kendra's were my faves though
Rachel is just so gorgeous and funny and talented. She really brings charisma back to the Bon App channel
Brad in a thick Jersey accent: “I don’t have an accent 😠. You have an accent.”
Appreciate the popcorn alternative one too!
Sour cream and onion popcorn is now a game changer. The other flavors sound AMAZING, but there’s something nostalgic about this sour cream and onion one.
Those are some creative upgrades. My favorite is a basic one of adding a little sugar with the salt AFTER applying the butter. ;)
Rachel and Brad's dynamic is soooooo hilarious
It’s my heart happy to see vegan recipes on this channel!
The Rice Cake iteration is very interesting to me! Really want to try that
More of this plz. Popcorn is just THE best.
Melissa and Brad combo was fantastic (so were the others!) Loved the champorado popcorn especially but that's because I'm biased
If they combined their popcorns together it would’ve been a great combo...because Melissa’s was super sweet and Brads was super salty and they both had the fish components, I’d make both kinds and throw them in a bowl together I think that’d be really good
Brad rocking that Dad bod like a boss. Even his good clothes are in the laundry today haha.
Despite everything i really think the change BA went thru brought sooo much more to this channel, the diversity of flavors that the widening of culture brought is amazing!
I'm a Filipino who grew up around the world so I love all kinds of food. I love that you can use coconut milk instead of dairy for caramel. That champorado mix for popcorn is really inspiring!! I'm gonna try it! 😁😍 Both my sons love champorado, but it's my older one who loves fish like me. (Dilis is one of them.)
Chris gets so many points for using the term 'tadka'
I LOVED this!
When Melissa put in that large bowl of sugar in, I thought nope; but she used only a small amount of the carmel. The end result with the coconut milk, coco nips and anchovies blew my mind. I've got to try it sometime soon. Brad's version seems pretty cool as well.
Had someone gift me the cheerie lane popcorn pods and I finally started making popcorn on the stove and it's honestly been life changing.
I'm so curious about all 6 versions...but would enjoy it better if someone presented me with them to try 😂 Also yay GHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Salt, pepper and hot sauce mixed into my butter. Not fussy but very satisfying.
Omg I just made popcorn for my local mosque I made Carmel corn s’mores and cheese/plain! I also want to try a tandoori popcorn recipe I saw which you then smoke with charcoal!!
Raise of hands for those that only watch this channel for Brad and Chris now 🙋🏼♀️
💁🏽♀️
Dying to try some of these
Chrissy's sour cream and onion one looks amazing. So stoked that it's vegan too.
love this video sm
We always buy fun flavors of potato chips at the Indian and Halal/Arabic stores. Yum!
Some of my favorite content!
Glad Brad likes Dilis! I thought he would!
brad's little "tuoss" and "uuoff" were so funny, i love it
Brad needs to make his OWN YT channel
Well this inadvertently answered a question I had about why they had champurrado at a local Filipino shop. Didn't know they had a different version of it.
Been waiting for new test kitchen videos.
Needed this
Everyone in the test kitchen is so good looking and seems so pleasant. 💕
I mean this a good video, but it just makes me miss the old BA cast dynamics / chemistry more
I was thinking the same!
I've come back to BA after about 6 months now and it feels nice, but makes me miss the old test kitchen so much🥺
Fire dance was so fire 🔥 🤣
Definitely doing the champorado one tomorrow
Kendra reminds me so much of Ann Hathaway ~ her expressions and voice back when she did the Princess Diaries.
I must do this with my brothers. They love snacks. (I love snacks too 😋)
Awesome all chef amazing show
for brad: dehydrated olive powder??? dehydrated roasted mushrooms? thoughts? worth experimenting?
Melissa is really cool💯
Dulse is sold whole in the UK and Ireland and it's a delicious salty, iodine-y, chewy snack.
If you know what you're doing you can just pick it off the beach and dry it.
Omnomnom.
Melissa! We also enjoy Brad's accent a lot🤣
"Honey & Sumac Popcorn"
Brad has joined the chat.
As always...I will watch anything with Brad Leone
They all look very inviting, 😋
Now what’s the difference between dehydrating something to blend into a power and freeze drying something to turn into a powder?
How fitting, I'm watching this while eating popcorn
Can you write up and publish the measurements on the site?
Where did Chris Morocco get his apron, I love it!
love it, more of these please!
Omg I love red lays yessss
Please more of this! Why not?
I was on board with the caramel, cacao, and coconut... I like fish but I can't imagine the anchovies being my thing
Does anyone know what spice grinder she's using in 1:14??
Glad to y'all give Frank Prisinzano credit for the inspiration.
I was pretty sure that Champurrado was a Mexican dish. Did a bit of research and turns out it is, but in Philippines call it ChampORado and switch the base ingredient for it.
It is because the Philippines were colonized by the Spanish for 333years. The difference between the two is that when the Spanish brought chompurrado with them the Philippines made it their own style by using rice instead of masa.
Great to see the plant based option there 💛👏🏻
Why Rachel look at Chris like that when she said “Sweet, Salty situation”!? 👀 😏🤣
i do have bonito flakes but not the other ingredients. How could i substitude them?
Brad where did you get that shirt!?
My fave is ghee, nooch, and sour salt 🤤
I LOVE CHRISSY AND KENDRA
Kendra & Chrissy knocked it out the park. Rachel's was an interesting idea too.
Think I'd use and adapt some of the ideas here.
Hate dry, boring popcorn.
Sour cream and onion sounds best...
Masala Lays are delicious. Went to a wedding in India like Seinfeld and got addicted.
low key the rice cake snack sounds wicked good
I don’t think this are meant to be precise recipes, as much as general ideas for you to riff on yourself.
Where do you get tomato powder? I've looked everywhere!
how did they manage to make so many videos in one day? lol I'm excited to see new clothes
Still only kept subscribed because of Brad
I feel like Brad should've definitely ran in as soon as Sumak was brought up in conversation
What were the spices in the second type of popcorn? Cumin, mustard seed, and….?
Think it was just salt
I love melissa and brad together lol
Wow 😳
Can you make a coconut sugar Carmel?
YASSSSS!!! Finally another episode with Chef Mel! Make her a regular please 🙏🏽🙏🏽!!!
So good to see all of you guys back in the BA kitchen again.
Omg Chrissy and Kendra have the best energy together
Totally. They need to give those two a regular segment.
Seems like the most awkward segment tbh
Chrissy was excitedly describing her recipe idea and flavors and Kendra was just awkwardly going "uhmmm", "yeah", "totally" and nodding along with no energy.
I think Brad and Melissa had the best energy
holup, Brad didn't do a miso popcorn!?!?!? I'm highly disappointed in him.
He's already done it in a video!
This is such a good episode in the right direction because it showcases everyone’s personality and also show community it it’s essence. I’m excited for what BA has to show us in the future.
GJ BA, everything is forgotten!
All I want is a new It’s Alive! episode
Brad LOOMS
Brad makes anyone he is with wonderful
Chris the only one to think outside the norm and made a square.
I just put everything but the elote seasoning and hot sauce on mine.
