  • The angle under the armpit should form an arch shape to establish the connection between the arms and the body. An arch shape better withstands force.
    In practicing Taijiquan, use the tendons as a bow; all joints maintain an arched state. Sinking the shoulders, dropping the elbows, sitting the wrists, collapsing the waist, and sinking the hips are all expressions of force, not just postures.

    肩要鬆掉手才能放長,腋下角度要成拱型,這樣手臂到身體的連結才會出來。拱型比較好承受力量。
