- Restoration of a very rusty french antique toy.
It's a DURIEZ truck by Jan VINOT from the 40's in very bad shape, abandoned, I thought about giving up several times...

What impresses me about your work is how delicate a touch is needed. Some of the objects are on the edge of being scrap. Yet, with a gentle hand, you bring out the hidden life they still have. Bravo.

It was so amazing that you managed to get the clockwork mechanism working again -- it looked like it had rusted into one solid lump of corrosion.

That was absolutely terrific how you restored that, I thought to myself there's no way that the motor was going to work but you persevered with it and got it working you should be proud of what you achieve with these rusted out junk and saving them. Kind regards John

Even this old-timer iron toy truck was never brought to the Chip channel. This was definitely an old-timer WW2 iron toy. 🍟 🍪 🍟

I'll be honest! You should hand painting a try with the Interior and tires. pinstriping Is a Forgotten art form. BUT! Give it a shot.

Well done, sir. That metal was so rusted & thin I thought for sure it was going to disintegrate as you were working on it. And great job filling & sanding the pitting. A question: would it be easier to paint some of the parts before reassembling them? Not a criticism, just curious. Thanks!
