My daughter has a 2010. Do you recommend synthetic or conventional oil? I'd like to use synthetic but the car has about 95k on it and I've heard it can cause leaks if that wasn't used throughout the engine's life. I don't know what the previous owner used. Thoughts?
I have a 2011 Murano SV FWD. My right side back seat release handle does not let the seat down. The cable is still attached but it is very loose (flimsy like) but when you pull the handle the seat does not fold forward. The manual seat strap works but not the handle. Is there a fix that? Also, the spacer flap behind the seat is missing the springs can they be replaced? Thank you.
Is there a way to talk to you? Is the AC Compressor next to the oil stuff? could the connector be hit, or compressor damaged when doing an oil change? Jiffy lube did a change, then the AC blows but no cold air immediately after the change. Now say new Compressor, alternator and battery.
Put a quart extra due to dipstick reading low 2 weeks after an oil change now after seeing your video I now realize faulty dipstick reading and may have added a quart too much is this ok 5 quarts for the oil change then 2 weeks later added another quart = 6 quarts
it is just "Oil Change" why Nissan made it a big deal and big mess. It is not a good idea to open the oil filter without putting a shield or cardboard in the way to prevent the oil from spilling onto the frame. Just a bad design.
Why doesn't the manual show what type of oil to use... it only says SAE 5W30..but it does not say whether to use conventional or synthetic... at least I cannot find it.
+Mac A. Thanks for watching! The most important thing to follow when changing engine oil is the weight. You can use either synthetic or conventional so long as you use 5W30. That being said it it is recommended that you use synthetic oil for this vehicle if possible! 1aauto.com

Seems risky.

The VAG 1.8T is even worse.
I feel like the Murano is one of the easiest oil changes I've ever done.
Really nice video, thanks!
Thank you!

if you have over 120km in your vehicle, you absolutely have to use synthetic
