I have been using this monitor for 3 years. I am just a casual console gamer and have a mac mini. Does a great job. What this vid does not tell you is that it does PIP and PBP for two separate feeds,
I got this monitor in early 2022, been using it since and the only thing I’d say is that the colors don’t pop. You can over lock the monitor though and it’s awesome being able to do 95hz. At the time I payed around 180 for it so it was an amazing deal
As a longer term user, this monitor is not worth it. Picked mine up from Microcenter in 2019 and it was 2 years of laggy refresh rates, painfully long wait times switching between inputs, and a frighteningly hot power supply both at the plug and where it plugged into the monitor itself. After getting some screen dimming issues and rows of pixels blacking in and out with no support from Samsung I trashed it. If you are still within the return policy and are looking for a budget monitor, you should consider returning it and spending 100-150 more picking up something with a 144hz refresh rate and more adjustability. It will serve you far longer while still coming in at a budget-friendly price.
Thanks for your comment. I believe at the price I got it for it was worth it. Trust me when I say I know it’s not perfect and it definitely has its cons. There are definitely better options but for me it was worth it.
Awesome and straight to the point, I think you should be bigger but I think you need to lean into the shortness/conciseness of your style. Like, add "X PRODUCT REVIEW IN 5 MINUTES OR LESS" or "NO FLUFF REVIEW" or of course something less flashy.
dude does that ultea wide does pip picture in picture and picture by picture pbp ? you dont need two monitors if that ultra wide does it i been looking for a ultra wide that can do pbp so i can get rid of my two monitors i dont play too many older games so i should be fine .
would you recommend this now? currently have a 4k Samsung Smart monitor I use with my PS5. looking for another monitor to use with Xbox series S and roku
@@VladGamingTechWorld make sense, looking for something to maximize Xbox series s display port or can give 1440p resolution The Samsung ultra wide checked those boxes with 1440 but if you suggest I shouldn't do UW and just look at 1440 monitor. Will do, really just like the UW for the aesthetic not really thinking of the quality of pictures thanks for the fast response as well 🙏🏾
Best budget its AOC U34G3XM but is a VA pannel, think IPS are the way to go and the best one i think is Philips 345E2AE, also solves the stand problem and its like 280$

I honestly wouldn’t recommend using an ultrawide for your Xbox or Roku.
There’s a lot to consider when getting a monitor. What resolution are you looking for? Size? Budget?

I agree for sure. An IPS is definitely the way to go.
When using zoom to fill it cuts out the caption of 16:9
how is this monitor budget at almost 400?
When I got it from microcenter it was $200. You can find it on sale often.
I hvae the same monutor and i overclocked it to 95Hz and its stable and smooth
Damnnnn you got a good price for that. Nicee
I definitely did!
My audio not working for some reason
This monitor does not include speakers unfortunately. You’ll need to buy speakers.
The bezels are too thick.
I agree. I wish they were smaller but it at least it gets the job done.
