Glad to hear you've enjoyed it! And yeah I would agree about the mount. This one that comes with it does a good job, but I love me some extra desk space.
I appreciate it! They are 27" 1440p monitors from Gigabyte. They are overkill as side monitors, but they used to be my primary gaming monitors a couple years back. Very happy with them. There is a link into the description to snag them if you're interested!
Did anyone have issues with black smearing with this monitor? A bunch of the tech channels have me scared to touch a VA panel for this reason. I need this to be a kind of do it all display whether that be gaming or software development, general browsing, etc. LG has an IPS version but it's 60hz.
Update: I love this monitor but I found out that PS5 does not support ultrawide monitors at 3440x1440. You can still use it but at 1080 60hz. Which is not what I wanted.
Another review that is focused on gaming. What about work? What about fonts sharpness? What about blirring, ghosting when working with webpages and reading? No answer...
I'd argue you'd be overspending if this is mainly for a PS5. The reason why is because most games on PS5 still don't support ultrawide monitors. They will work, but you'll still be playing in the standard 16:9 ratio and the two sides of your screen will be black. If you're doubling this monitor with a PC/Mac to switch to for your other tasks, then it becomes easier to justify. Otherwise, I'd suggest using www.techaudit.tv/best-monitors-for-ps5/ and grab one of the suggested monitors from that page!
@@dusanradovic3151 but why does the AOC C24G1 go up to 120hz with the HDMI cable in the package on a Anker hub dock with a steam deck? Or does this LG monitor only offer 85hz max?
I've had this exact monitor for a year now. No complaints. I do recommend mounting this.

The setup is slick! No tools required?!?! 🎉 Ive been thinking about an uktra wide for a wide, this is at the top of my list now.
Great video yet again! ❤
Much appreciated!
"Why is this gaming monitor so popular?!" Same for this one... Dell S3422DWG
What is the difference between this model an the WP75c-b? Is it just the addition of the usb-C ?? Can’t find anything else
Now that we are done with that sponsor lets move onto the video.
Great video. What are the vertical monitors on the side ? Great set up

Can I use it for office work?
I want to buy an ultrawide monitor mostly for work and casual gaming but are 1080p games going to look weird on a 1440p screen?
Great video!
how is the colors compared to IPSs?
Just set this up for my PS5, and I think I will be returning because this does not support 1440 120hz gaming I wanted.

Gotta build a PC. Best way to go.
@@PurpStudios-g3i true but I ended up getting another monitor for my PS5 that I love!
@@PurpStudios-g3ican it run fivem
Should I get this to
Play Battlefield and COD with my XBOX S Series Console?
What are the vertical gigabtye monitors you have on the side? i am looking for the portrait mode 3x 34inch with OEM stands.
Thank you for this. Nice monitor lamp, is it from BenQ or something different?

Same boat. I'm looking at ultrawide monitors for work/productivity.
$400 at Costco but at 5ms not sure about that especially for FPS games though
Could this or a 32 inch work for a ps5?
Anything 1440p 120hz or 4k 60+ will be great. Shapes and sizes are up to you from there. If you like fps games I'd go 24" or 27. Nothing over 30

Even with the new ps5 update are you sure there will be black bars on the sides ? I think ps5 allows u to stretch to fill the screen now
what are the dimensions of the curved monitor stand base?
What monitor did you remove to put the ultrawide in?
Rt 😂😂😂 that’s the one I want
can you help me. why looks my older monitor 1080p 144hz better than my new one 1444p 180hz on PS5?
There might be a setting you have to change to get it to 1440p resolution
Hey,
may i know what game did you playing last in this video
Looks like Forza.
How that one arm it does support this 34" with 23 lbs when the specs said max 32" and 20 lbs? 🙄
Can I use this for my ps5 will it work?
Can ps5 do 1440p at 120fps without hdmi 2.1?
Yep! Any HDMI 2.0 connection will do just fine for that. You only need 2.1 if you are wanting 4K @ 120fps
@@TechAuditTVis this a good option for series x user mainly plays mw3 ranked or should I get a 27” like the gr95qe?
Hi bro, I just got this monitor and it will only let me select upto 85hz, on the 1440p recommended resolution, any ideas why?
Try a faster rated cable
U need Diplay Port because HDMI is limited to 85hz
@@dusanradovic3151 but why does the AOC C24G1 go up to 120hz with the HDMI cable in the package on a Anker hub dock with a steam deck? Or does this LG monitor only offer 85hz max?
It's the 2.0 hdmi. You want 2.1 which this monitor does not have. Assuming you are using hdmi and not display port
There's no reason why this monitor can't output 100hz over HDMI 2.0 at 1440p, the bandwidth is enough.
What about LG 34wr50qc
5ms response time ..
Connecting anything random to a usb on your monitor is always bad news … I wouldn’t if your not screening the actual accessory
I see a ring charger i think.
Can i play 4k high settings game in this monitor??
No
It's not a 4k monitor bruh
Ultrawide = more pixels, better gpu is required to achieve decent fps.
Tis true
Or just lower graphics settings, or you can just turn on dlss/FSR
It’s a VA panel.. 😓
Great contrast tho which is great for movies
