I love the idea that these old trucks aren't every day drivable as they were built from the factory. I currently drive a 76 F250 4x4 every day with no problems at all. In totally stock form with exception of the engine having been upgraded from a 360 to a 390 over 20 years ago and still going strong. No it doesn't go fast, doesn't have power steering, doesn't have air conditioning, doesn't look good or even have a radio but it'll go anywhere anytime.

I have stock Ford trucks from the 40's through 70's. They'll go anywhere, tow anything and can be maintained for a song.
I do like what FFG is doing with these trucks, but I'll probably just keep my stockers till someone hauls me to my grave in one.

I have a 1974 F250 4x4 that I bought new may 18 1974 I was 19 all of my friends asked me what are you doing with an old man’s truck. I knew what I was doing and I made a portable welding truck out of it. I put a ford camper shell on it and all of my tools stayed dry and kept the dirt out of it. I used it for 40 years and kept it clean I didn’t drive hard but it is still in real nice shape cleaner than 90% of the trucks this year I was thinking of putting a Cummins motor until I saw what you guys did to this now I am going to call and see what all parts you used and see what it is going to cost and I think that is the way I am going. Thank you willie.

I love, love, love the work you guys do. I love the showoff videos, the product showcase videos, the progress videos, and that you include links to some of the parts you guys use in your build. I'd love to see some actual in-progress build videos (kind of like how Matt's Offroad Recovery posts on youtube here), but I understand the difficulties of doing that in a machine shop, especially with your channel being its current size. I'm almost certain I'll never be able to afford hiring your shop to do anything, but boy, is it fun to dream...
