- In this video we'll take a quick test drive of MYSTERIA, the latest collaboration between Native Instruments and Galaxy instruments.
From the copy: The 29 GB sound library encompasses more than 800 sound sources, recorded in Bratislava and Cologne with a large symphonic choir also split into male and female sections, a chamber choir, and an intimate New Music vocal quartet. The result is a truly versatile sound that covers everything from close whispers, to epic choruses, and everything in between.

BEHOLD, METAL PRODUCERS RUSHING THROUGH THE GATE RIGHT NOW.
every melodic metal producer's dream sample library.
Geoff...over the years I've learned so much from you via Izotope tutorials, Universal Audio, etc, etc. Today, while searching for the best Mysteria review, I saw you reviewing it, and yes....I went to the TOP....Geoff Manchester Music. You're the best. Keep it up! Cheers and well done.
This is sooo nice to hear dude. Really appreciate the kind words.
Thank you for this walkthrough! Too bad there is no intro or loyalty pricing. So it's not an instant buy for me. But definitely on my wishlist..
Hi there.
I'm really enjoying your review of mysteria. I recently got into komplete last year and being a totally blind ambient artist, the accessibility of this system with it's voiceover and nks technology has opened amazing pathways of exploration for me and I can imagine this library being a crucial part of my music when I'm able to afford the upgrade to komplete 13 ultimate. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos.
Thanks for the kind words, Scott. Welcome to the channel!
Fantastic deep dive! I was curious about this library compared to Eric Whitacre Choir and I’m super excited that Mysteria is its own unique take on the voice
Thanks, great overview. Keep them coming :)
great content as usual 🙏
as for the bug - it looks like the preset browser just follows the list alphabetically without respecting the filters you have applied. here's hoping for an update soon.
ngl I own it i'd say the only disappointing part is even the playable notes end up sounding off key, I'd love to use it in my music but I need to have notes properly on key as i make more synth rock and orchestral stuff than ambient stuff
@Deep Soul Soundsystem I'll experiment with it, i noticed thankfully that arkhis has at least some very nice choirs
thank you, very instructive!
Thanks Garry
fingers crossed that it'll be in Ultimate 13... because then I'll upgreade for sure. Weird and morphing is my jam! :P
is it only cluster & fx....or are there also playable patches?
There’s playable patches of course, with tonal centres and the like.
I was wondering if you can provide a rating system similar to Thrill for Mysteria. To be honest, I have some ideas on how to implement this expansion but....damn its expensive.
so.. how do you automate this type of plugin (im new to this plz dont judge me.. or do, im not gonna stop you lol)
In your DAW, navigate to the automation settings on the track you have this library instantiated on, find and toggle the XY parameter for the library and then use touch, latch/your preferred write-automation method. Finding these options is different for different DAWs, good luck.
@@ManchesterMusic dam thanks mane.. now to make even more terrible music, muahahahahaha
Excellent walkthrough. Going to get this. Already have THRILL. I'm from Manchester. How can Icontact yourself
So to record it is necessary to have one hand on the keyboard and the other on the mouse?
I suppose you could record the MIDI melody and then record the XY movements as an overdub.
Perhaps use sustain pedal, then one hand on mod wheel and other on mouse for certain recordings.
You can try automating the XY
Please can we have this for HAlion?
Oh hello!
It is pretty damn good but still Thrill is the best.
The preset is going to very next preset in the entire set of presets in alphabetical order, not the next preset from the filtered preset list you loaded from.
Hello there!
This is flat out creepy. Still cool though!
