4:30 "Im going to tell you how cool this truck is, explain everything inside, but never actually show you anything." Shouldn't even have made this list. An 'imaginary' truck is not an impressive truck.
ARI Legacy Sleeper, look that up if you were wanting the thumbnail truck. credit to someone else in the comments, not scrolling through all the bullshit to find him again. ARI looks pretty damn sweet, and FUCK CLICKBAIT!!!!!
Only way to do that is getting rid of all equipment, cars and trucks etc.etc. and return to walking. Household, commercial and industrial power, heating and cooling, computers, well or municipal water. Just to manufacture these behemoths create emissions.
The truck in the thumbnail was in the video, though? It wasn't the exact model or color, but it was a truck built by the same company. As for the truck itself, it's incredibly counter-intuitive to what a rig is actually for: hauling shit from Point A, to Point B. It's so long, and has such a wide turning radius, that there's nowhere you'd be able to take it with a trailer hooked on.
I google image searched (limo semi truck) and found the image in the thumb nail. it's a Kw With A Super Sized Sleeper, so the only shit I'm seeing is your troll of a reply.
@Naru "Sanav Bud, I don't think you have ever done long haul trucking. We are not talking about hauling within a few hundred miles. Any long haul trucker who literally lives in his truck, will tell you that they wish they had that truck. It is called an ARI Legacy Sleeper and it is no different than an average sleeper rig, except it has a longer frame for the larger cab. Do you know how many drivers wive's come with them on trips? Have you ever slept in a normal size cab? It is incredibly small and uncomfortable. I ask because too many people post ignorant comments on things they have absolutely no experience with. This is not a truck that you haul loads around town with, making tight turns often. This truck spends most of it's life on large highways where it's size is no issue. In no way is this truck "counter-intuitive" to what a rig is for. Of course it is for hauling A to B but it is about where you are hauling and what distance. This truck is purpose built and every long haul driver would disagree with you on your assessment of it. Actually, something any truck driver will tell you is that the longer the truck itself is, the easier it is to make turns with a trailer. A longer truck actually pulls the trailer around a corner in a much wider motion than short truck does. Pulling a trailer behind a dump truck is far easier to make turns in the city than a normal haul rig because of it's length and wide turning radius. When making a left turn where there is two lanes turning simultaneously, a short rig will cause the trailer to cross into the inner lane far sooner than a long truck will because the longer ass end of the truck will cause the trailer to turn much wider. This truck is indeed pretty long and not easy to drive but likely not as hard as you may think (for an experienced driver). The point of this long, drawn out reply is that looks can be deceiving. It is a good idea to post pone coming to a conclusion on something until you have had personal experience with it (which I am guessing you do not because you would have already been aware of the things I pointed out). Either way I personally wouldn't want to drive this thing, nor would I enjoy long haul driving. It gets very boring on the road and anxiety can become a problem for many drivers, not to mention dealing with crazy / inconsiderate drivers.

Thanks, I came here to watch the 10 most amazing trucks, I didn't even see that cool truck in the thumbnail. :(. I skimmed through the video and couldn't see it.
My Peterbuilt car hauler held 9 cars all way bigger than that Mercedes hauler they showed. Y doesnt it get a video. Plus it looked like a real truck with real power and torque. F yea 🦅America 🦅
You should show the trailers with a walking floor. The whole floor of the trailer moves back and forth in order to empty it without tipping. Its crazy how the whole floor shifts back and forth.
Presumably the raw energy source that would've been used to create the fuel that would've in turn been used to power the (electric) truck (had it been diesel), was instead used to generate the electricity required to power the electric truck? One understood the generation of electricity to be fairly inefficient (something like a 60-65% overall loss?). Furthermore, the embodied energy that would accompany the required infrastructure to enable an all electric truck set up would surely not only be vast, but never economically viable?
Why do you keep having a photo on the video and then not have anything about it in the video. This is at least the third video where I've only watched it because of the photo and then been disappointed. Please stop miss representing your content.
I know what is Volvo Iron Knight, it has a 2,400 Horsepower and 4,425 Ft-Ibs of Torque in a Turbocharged D13 Inline-6 with displacement of 12 Liters and a top speed of 171 Miles Per Hour (MPH).
This video is like a talking version of one of those "My first truck books" you would get for a 3 year old. I do wonder if the person narrating it has ever seen a real truck.
You showed the Cat AD60 well Cat did not come up with it ; you ask me how I know because I worked on the first one at Atlas Copco Wagner Mining Equipment Co in Portland , Oregon. The truck originated out of a customer request from Australia. Our truck originally came with a MTU engine but due to uncontrollable harmonics and shocks between the engine , upbox and Allison transmission we had a 100% failure rate at the rear of the crankshaft which was not strong enough for this application. We redesigned the truck to except a Cummins SQ19 , 800hp motor, a lot of work. All this was probably 25 years ago. So no Cat was not the first in this class of underground mine truck even though everyone has their own model of it Wagner was first. Also I would like to mention Eddie Wagner one of the Wagner brothers that founded Wagner Mining in his foresight back in the 40’s revolutionized underground mining with his design of LHD’s and dump trucks and the center Hing pivot point for the articulated machine which they also used at Wagner Tractor. Eddie Wagner only finished the 8th grade but he could out design any college level educated engineers.
@Joel Seim: Finished school at 8th grade, but had world experience. Would that be why he could out design all the educated experts? We are seeing that in Australia. People with no formal qualifications are wiping out the bookworms with their knowledge.

That is an interesting concept if the infrastructure could be done on interstate highways & having a diesel engine for use on surface streets.

Christy Gruber - you’re right, they are assholes. A tractor like that will have to pull a twenty foot trailer to meet length restrictions.

It is abundantly clear that the narrator doesn't know a single thing about these vehicles and is just reading letters off a piece of paper
They need to start bringing used trucks city United States because we deathly need most of these trucks over here
Help if the narrator actually knew what he was talking about.

This was great - for once, a video that is not filled with RV style yank trucks which are completely ridiculous. Nice to see it started with Scania.
Great trucks, now where's my anorak?!
That's alright, but one has to realize that the electricity the truck uses is generated at power plants that burn FOSSIL FUELS
Not all of them.. 20% of our power comes from nuclear.
Sir hydro power plant are also there🙏
@TechZone
Why do you persist with the clickbait thumbnail pictures?
All it does is annoy people.

I didn't like the electric truck to much because the power is less powerful, but it is good for the enviroment and a cool invention.
